Very cool! Very creative idea, great music! Congratulations!
Cute game with cute music! I found it too hard though (couldn't beat Level 1), maybe because I was playing on a laptop using a touchpad instead of a mouse.
Very fun game!
fun game but... why a music box eating coins means life is currency?
Overall this is the best use of the theme that I've seen so far, and the execution and polish of gameplay are top-notch as well! Why can't those waiters go around fixing broken boards instead of picking up money! That is not the purpose of waitressing. I played all eight levels and really enjoyed the progression in difficulty from level 3 and on. Those waiters, though. Grr. I wish there were some sort of ending screen to reward me at the end, but I guess unlocking all eight levels feels cool too. Well done!
@sylvie - Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe that's it, the gameplay needs a lot of precision.
@sakkia - We consider that the player is the jukebox. Then, the player needs to get the clients' coins to continue "alive" (Working). It's a poetic concept xD
@carraka - Thanks for playing. I'm glad you had fun. Incredible, you did well finishing all 8 levels. Greate feedback!
"TIP" xD
@sakkia Music is life! And our little friend Jukebox needs the coins to work ... ;)
I don't think I've seen a game similar to this one before.... solid concept, good execution!
Very nice work! All the music was lovely, I particularly thought the "blah blah" bassa-nova was hilarious. Turned out to be harder than expected too!
Great tunes (the bla-bla bossa made me laught kkkkkk)! Loved de artwork, really solid, the pucket-coin gameplay, simple, challenging (a bit much maybe). I've found the coin a bit too slippery, that floor must be really polished lol. It could have a bit more friction. Really great job!
Great game, loved the visuals and audio. I actually hadn't played a game with this kind of concept before. I also really liked the level progression with different elements which kept me playing for more than a couple of rounds.
Well done guys!
Great entertainment, mouse control bit hard on touch pad
fun game! the physics add some depth to the gameplay where you can multitask pushing coins instead of doing them one by one. satisfying mechanic, but would've liked some reward for doing well instead of there only being an "alive" and "game over" state.
Nice game, smooth physics and innovative for this jam. Not have much to say except for maybe some feedback animation of where a coin is going to spawn in case you have the cursor around there, happened only once, just a little detail. Great job!
Very nice game! Loved the music, and the gameplay is simple and effective o/ I'm just wondering why you choose a "level" based structure instead of doing an endless mode?
GG to you guys anyway
Cool music and a lot of fun, good work!
@soarendev - Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked it. We chose to do the level structure instead an endless mode because we wanted to put a variety of obstacles.
Endless mode is a good idea, we can put it in each level in the future. Great feedback =]
Nice game, I'm wondering if all music were composed during this jam. It could be a cool game to showcase musical work !
@julienlussiez thanks for the feedback. Yes, all musics were composed during this Jam.
Very solid!! That's all I have to say!!! <3
That blah blah blah song is a really jam. It's a super polished game, and the difficulty ramp is perfect, with slightly harder obstacles added over time. I would like the cursor to only be active while you are clicking because sometimes trying to get into position messes up my coins, but maybe I just need to git gud. Great game!
Excellent entry! It was super engaging, I found myself completely focused on smushing the coins into the machine. Great use of the theme in a creative way. I loved the fact that the music changed as you approached game over. Great job.
@jesusache - Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked it. Clicking the mouse is a great idea =]
The controls are very good! It really felt like air hockey. And I liked feeding the coins to the jukebox~ Graphics were a bit simple, but the gameplay made up for it! Physics-based games are always so fun!
Cool music, controls are easy to get used , nice concept ! I believe that this is the first time I have seen a game like this
Beautiful game, great concept!
The only thing that I noticed while playing was that I often accidentally sent random coins flying while moving the mouse accross the screen to pick up a new coin at the other side of the level.
I like the way the game feels, the weight of the coins feels really good. The difficulty curve is there. It feels polished. Good job!
fun game bro! pushing coins into that jukebox is so satisfying
Loved the game overall. Very fun to play with. :)
Loved the music. Loved the mechanic progression. Also, HILARIOUS! Those waiters saying "TIP" killed me hahahaha.
You're in my Twitch chat right now, so this is a little redundant, but this was a really cute game! I think it would do well on mobile devices. My only gameplay criticism is that I think the rounds last too long.
I had a lot of fun with this! the addition of new mechanics in each level was nice. Hard to control, but not too hard; though I did feel my hand cramping up a bit. And one of the better uses of the theme I've seen. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
Nice game, very unique. I feel like the jukebox could have a personality. So when coins go in it could smile or something. Might be a different art direction though. Your art is nice, very SNES like. All in all good job!
Awesome game with super cool relaxing music, good job
Parabéns time! O game ficou muito bom, a arte, aúdio, hitbox da taverna. Dificuldade.
This is a fantastic take on the theme! The physics seem to be pretty solid too. I love the music, but for a game centered around music I think the tracks could have been longer - they just seem to end too quickly for me. The way the music slows down when the jukebox is about to die is such a neat effect though.
Cute game! This is like musical air hockey. I think it would be really good with touch controls.
It'd be cool if each levels was one song that you had to last through, but I understand that there's only so much time to compose during a jam.
I noticed a typo in the game: it reads "jokebox".
Keep up the good work!
@ransom - I'm glad you liked it. Air Hockey feelings xD
Well noticed, thank you for letting me know. We will fix it later =]
I love the fact, that the game relays fully on diegetic music! It is a well rounded little game that was a lot of fun to play!
Love it! This game is super fun! I can't think of any improvements.
Awesome! The way that you have to bounce the coin towards the jukebox makes me hate and at the same time love that!!!
The Music is overlaping the ambience sounds a lot, maybe adjusting the volume would be enough, also add some reverberance to add more space and bring the user to inside that bar.
Thank you for submitting your game to be played on my stream!
Once the stream is finished you can find the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos If you want to know when it was played you can find your game in the queue here: https://tinyurl.com/y5rdokvp
Awesome game! I enjoyed the graphic a lot well done. I think this game can be easily expanded to include more mechanics, I suggested adding gum for a multiplayer version were the gum could jam the opposite jukebox for few seconds if you go down that route. again well done!
@kappa-b - Thanks for feedback and suggestion. Glad you liked it. Multiplayer sounds good, really can be fun xD
Fun game! I feel like you knew your scope well and executed it really well within the constrains of the Jam. Well done!
Very very fun! I'm still playing, but one thing right off the bat, I think the difficulty ramps a bit too steeply on the first levels (between tutorial and level 2 for example). I'm sure it wasn't easy to iterate during the time given, so no biggie. Very fun idea too, coin hockey!!
Other than that, it's awesome! Congrats!!!
just amazing game, music, graphics ,gameplay and everything's. Simple but very addicting. I have a lot of fun :D Great job :)
Really fun game, loved it.
Excellent game, loved it. Great concept, gameplay, music, art. The difficulty scales up nicely as well. Great job!
This game rules I have no idea what to say. When the waiter squeaked away with my coins I was done 1000% Great job with this.
I really liked playing this game on-stream. The concept is simple and sweet, easy to get into, and adds new challenges to each level that encourages progression. Personally, I thought some new mechanics added in a level could have used a smoother introduction, such as having a level devoted to each mechanic for the player to slowly get used to them. I also wanted a bit more control over how the coins bounced from the cursor: my original suggestion was to make the circle larger. Not saying that would solve the problem perfectly, but it's something I think is worth experimenting. I also had difficulties moving coins stuck on the sides of the screen to move out of them. Lastly, some colliders, like the legs on the tables, could use some smoothing.
Definitely looking forward to a mobile release. Just remember to compensate for the finger that will inevitably cover the screen!
@omiya-games - I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the precious comment about game design. In the future we will make a smoother introduction of new mechanics by expanding the number of levels. Leaving the larger circle is a good idea, it will give more control to the player. Cheers =]
Nice game, it felt like it scaled in difficulty really well and was constantly giving me something new to have to avoid. I feel like the timer for each level was too long, I think aiming cutting it down to 30 seconds would have given players enough time to experience the challenge without feeling like it was a waiting game. But overall, this had good mechanics and was really polished.
One of the best games i've played so far. The music is excellent. The art and humour are great. I'm not too sure how it fits the theme though. Otherwise though a great entry.
@roitchie - Thanks for playing, I’m glad you enjoyed it. We consider that the player is the jukebox. Then, the player needs to get the clients’ coins to continue “alive” (Working). It’s a poetic concept xD
The art and music is great, but I found moving the coins with the mouse frustrating. I was kind of expecting that you control somebody frantically running around trying to collect the coins, kind of like Tapper but than without beer kegs. Since the player is the jukebox, as you poetically say, the jukebox itself would run around.
@mika-la-grand - Thanks for playing and for feedback. It really is difficult to control with the mouse, we will leave the larger circle to improve the presicion. Our goal with this type of control was to try out a new kind of gameplay. Cheers =]
Cool take on the theme. Would be nice if the mouse could attract very nearby coins toward it a little bit or something like that to make mouse control easier. Perhaps some form of upgrade system would work well for that and give players a sense of progression/getting better as they play.
Although it is very tricky, I'm starting to get the hang of it with practice, bouncing the coins off walls etc. :handball:
Nice atmosphere too with all the background characters around the rooms.
very nice game, it's tricky but in the nice way, also love the music
I realize the target is mobile but not allowing a fullscreen for windows kinda sucks..
The idea was good and the game was fun but my hand hurts when I have to play in like a 144p window on my 1440p screen.
What an awesomely cute game for this theme!!! I loved it and I loved the blah blah blah song XD
solid 4-star game! the audio was lovely with the subtle coin sounds and all. i love jam games with unique control schemes. also, we both have an entry with "Panic" in the title :)
this'll be great on mobile
Really felt it was a phone game to be. And for that, mouse control was not super satisfying. But anyway, I like very much the idea so good job. Make it a mobile game maybe ?
@lyrcaxis Sorry, did not give time to adjust to full screen. The UI breaks. We will activate it in the next version. An alternative is to zoom in on the browser version (CTRL +). =]
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

This game is adorable and very polished for a jam game. I don't think it would take much to make it a commercial product. Did you add the web build recently or was it always there and I just overlooked it?
Your Game was awesome! I have always been a fan of physics based games, and the graphics and audio really tie the whole game together. Well done and congrats!
Fun idea with appropriately cheesy music. The levels were way too long. The first level should have maybe been 30 seconds to let people get used to the controls and make the player feel good about themselves. Overall, if you continue to work on this game afterwards and balance it, it could make for a fun little mobile arcade title. :musical_note:
Solid cool little game. Really like the ramp up in mechanics. At first I was trying to frantically get coins in before realising that being slow and controlled was more important.
What an interesting game, I liked the artstyle, the "hockey" mechanic fits perfect for the game, and I liked the way you go into the theme. Nice job.
I've got nothing new to add here. Like the idea (I like the non standard game size), impressed with the music. Had a bit of a hard time getting the coins to do what they should :)
