Nice game! I liked the puzzle element and the theme is really cool. Maybe if there were some riddles or more replayability then it would be even better. The graphics reminded me of Pokemon, which is never a bad thing. Good job!

Oh, I did indeed used Pokemon as an inspiration for my sprites. I'm no artist so I wasted a lot of time trying to make everything look good. Game is pretty short, but it was fun working on it!
Thanks for the feedback!

2020-04-22 01_19_50-Schrodinger's Cat by Lex.png Welp, that was pretty fun ! I love when Animal Crossing-style object moving meets superposition of state. The computer mechanic was a brilliant idea. Great job !
Cute game. Nice art.
The concept it's interesting, however it's kind of simple, you just go putting the objects and checking one by one in the computer until you find out the correct position. I guess it would be more interesting if you couldn't just check this way, having to figure out some sort of logic behind, but i don't really see how it could be done, so it's nice that you found something that works.
The graphics and sounds are pleasant, making the game experience nice.
Good job!

@derek-volker The idea for this kind of mechanic is to usually make so that players have a limited number of tries. That can greatly increase the difficulty in some cases but I thought it could be a little frustrating for some people and for a game so short and simple.

I completely agree with @derek-volker here :)

I really liked the art work, I wish i could also draw like that.
I thought this was great! Very simple and creative, and good for a quick play through :)
Good game Lex, the idea was great! You made good graphics and sounds. I was also able to learn a lot from their lives. Congratulations!
I just wanted to say that I am very sad that I didn't think of shrodingers cat as an idea for this game jam. Quality idea and a good execution, I had a lot of fun just messing around it with and was a good quick game. Good job.

I liked how you kept simple for a single iteration on the game. I'd love to see more levels with added complexity, I believe there's a lot of space to that.
The art and sound were very good, and the controls were easy to figure out. You have a creative idea here but the premise is more of a trial and error type of game rather than a puzzle game. But for a game made in two days, I think you did a great job!
The game was good, took me a bit to know that picking up objects and placing them in the small circles was how you get the cat out of the box, but overall good game.
I must admit i am puzzled as to why he needed to place those objects down in those positions, even after reading it a couple times, but i guess its science. I found the puzzle to be quite easy, just took a while because of the amount of objcts to chose from. Soundtrack suited the "chill day in office" vibes as i didnt particularly feel any stress or urgency to getting the cat out of the box. Nice relaxing puzzle entry.
So the cat either dies or doesn't die when it enters the box... or does it? It's both dead and alive when tied to a quantum state, and the future state of the room affects the wave function of whether the cat has died in the past. Probably makes total sense in the quantum world, or Schrodinger in this game has gone nuts.
Not really much gameplay with the trial and error, but the art style is neat. Besides the controls, the instructions of what to do in the game are clear from the start. The highlighting of certain key words was used effectively.

This game would do well with more levels and an extra layer of complexity. I agree with that limiting the amount of times one can use the computer would be a nice feature. Really nice that you made the art yourself, it looks great!

Wow really nice idea, good grafik and music. Whish there would been more levels :)
Nice little game. Interesting but IMO too easy. You just juggle things around until you find which 4 they are and then just swap them until it's 100%. So there's no real challenge, more like just work.
However, if you'd introduce some time limits, or certain requirements changing over time, that'd require a bit more thought. Or if you'd just give some other kind of hint on how close you are to the real solution, and not exact number of items that are correct and the chance of it surviving.
You should've left the player with the option to actually open the box even tho it's not 100%. Then just apply the chance. :) Some would find a dead cat, others a live one.
In any case, nice work. Well done.
The game is basically Mastermind, but I like the way you put a Schroedinger theme on it! Graphics are cute and the game looks polished. I do miss the goal of minimizing the number of moves and possibly other games to make the game more replayable.

I like that you used Schrodinger, it is a good variation on the theme. The game isnt hard, pretty simple, but a bit fast. Nice graphics !
