Missing some DLLs for me: libgcc_s_seh-1.dll, libwinpthread-1.dll.
Same here, I also get an error when I try to run the game: "The code execution cannot proceed because libgcc_s_seh-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." (+ same for libwinpthread-1.dll)
@caeonosphere @jeroenpx I've added the DLLs in a revised upload on itch.io. Could you try again?

Nice music. Game was quite hard though. Couldn't ever get exploding bullets and every time I play there is only one blue gem (the healing one). Just needs some gameplay balancing and levels then its a pretty fun game. Also, well done on using C++. I know its not always easy to use for game jams.
This game is hard! Pretty cool though. You can just keep spamming click to keep bullets off of you though I think?
I also could not figure out exploding bullets.
One other thing is that I think that camera should be closer to the character, because the character was very often near the edge of my screen
Wonderfully weird. I just wish I could get those exploding bullets to work. (My High score was 19 btw.)

Very hard ! I managed to get 2 blue gems after about 10 Attempts. Audio did not work on my PC (I only knew there was music by reading others comments). Even if the graphics are simple, I like the atmosphere it gives to the game. Very nice job.
Nice game, liked the minimalist style. Some sounds would really add to the game. With more levels and varied mechanics, this would be an awesome game!
This game is very hard, dind't manage to collect more than 2 blue dots... I had fun playing though. I tried not to die to ear the music, I love it thanks for this game !
Very interesting concept. Could be the base for a cool game I think. What you cold improve:
* Reduce the red spawn points and spawn rate to a minimum and gradually introduce more. * Show an indicator to the next blue item. * I think the game would be more interesting with more ammo. * Add items to defend yourself? Shields? Temporary invincibility?

Hey, my sound is not working. I listened to your background music anyway, by opening it separately, but it does not play for me in-game.

The mechanics are easy to understand and the controls are intuitive if you have ever played a game before. I also like that you have a simple control scheme in the title screen. This made your game easy to play. Still I feel the difficulty is way too high. It stopped being fun for me pretty quickly, I think there could be multiple levels with a difficulty curve. I know that LD does not offer much time so I assume you had other things to do :-)
Nice game and unique mechanics. The screenshake felt just right. At times the player doesn't spin when moving, it might be intentional (?) but I'd prefer it if I span all the time when moving. Maybe when jumping as well. The controls would feel nicer and I'd have more fun moving around. It has potential if fleshed out some more, spawn rate of the missiles adjusted and some level design, but it's a cool game nonetheless

What I like about this game is that it actually looks way harder than it is. As long as you keep moving and are aggressive with your shots, you can stay alive a lot longer than you'd think. At some point, most of my deaths came because I ran out of bullet slots, rather than running out of health. It is very impressive, being able to force the player to play aggressively.
I agree with most of the already-said nitpicks (exploding bullets is pretty hard to pull off, music didn't play for me, a UI indicator of where the blue star is would be helpful), but actually I feel like the controls are fine.
Cool idea.
I liked how the game looked overall. With some balance I think it can be better. I did not hear any audio on my end not sure why that is. I was not able to do exploding bullet move either. There were a lot of bullets causing me to die a lot. I also had trouble finding blue gems at times.
