Can you make a webGL version?
super cool ! but a bit hard to see bats ;)
Please make a version with locked cursor. I have 3 monitors and mouse that get out of game window makes me mad
I loved the gfx and the colors
Good idea ! I particularly like the graphics.
I like it! The visual art style is appealing, and the only problem I had was that I would loose health but not die
Like the artstyle, but some things (and especially the GUI) were sometimes hard to see.
Overall, your game is pretty interesting. I love the concept of having to search for items to create and strengthen your creature with. I also like how the character has many actions they may perform, as it made me feel like I had options while playing. Overall, good job with this!
I had a few things I think could've been done slightly better. The UI explaining what buttons did was a bit skinny, and it's coloring blended in with the background purple. This made it hard to read.
In combat, I had to get extremely close to the enemies in order to hurt them. This made attacking feel slightly unresponsive. I think a longer attack range would help with this. Finally, when I was placing items, there were times I wasn't sure which items went where. Sometimes, the "Press F to interact" would vanish or not appear at all, so I wasn't exactly sure what went where. With better player communication, the interaction feature could be lots of fun.
I love that time was taken to do voice acting. The sounds felt pretty fun. I really liked the music, though it eventually stopped playing.
Good job overall on this. The game is definitely in its starting phases, though with more time, I'm sure it will turn out well. This is a good foundation to build off of, there are lots of ways this game could go. Good luck with it in the future :)
The graphics are nice. A really cool style. The bats sounds a bit like planks when you hit it and it would have been cool to have some music. Anyway it's a cool one !
The reaction of the mouse movement felt really weird and I somehow fell through the map multiple times. I didn't really understand the game in the beginning, but it slowly got to me. On the plus side tho, my god for 72 hours, that is some INSANE graphics imo! You guys really did GREAT on the graphics and SFX, keep it up!
The game looks great, often I overlooked important objects because they blended into the background too much. I also found that no matter what I did I wouldn't die.
I like the graphics and the sound effects. You should add an inventory so that you don't have to go back and forth to get all the items you need to level up. Also I couldn't make the demon go to lvl 3 because bats weren't spawning (not enough xp) and finally the combat system could be improved to avoid being too close to the bats. But overall I enjoyed your game, good job !
Graphics are really nice and overall I liked the game. The text at the top left corner was hard to read as the text colour was too dark, and the attack range of the bats was quite hard to anticipate. But other than that, good job!
Really loved the games aesthetic and the VA work was great!
I really liked having to actually place the items in the summoning circle in the correct place.
Pros: - Nice and unique graphics - Interesting take on crafting mechanic, that also works well with the theme - Basic 3rd person combat in between collecting materials and rituals - Voicing was something I did not expect from a jam game, but was pleasantly surprised by
Cons: - Some colors are blending together, so it's harder to spot objects
Overall I'm a fan of crafting and summoning in RPG games, so this one was quite enjoyable. There were quite a few bugs, but it did not affect experience too much, especially because I could progress without worrying of loosing all hp :D. Inovation wise the game used some standard elements of RPGs, but I don't think I ever saw combination and use of the elements in such a way.
