Very cool game! I really liked the idea, graphics and abilities. The only thing I would like is if it were a bit more forgiving as the abilities really took ALOT of health and didnt allow much wiggle room or experimentation.

Wow, love the game, the blood from the blood fountain that flows through air to the mage is a very nice touch. Although, the game is quite hard for me - I've managed to hit the lever at the upper right part of the screen only once and after respawning I keep hitting the walls with the blood ball. Probably get to get some sleep and try again :D Wish I knew how to rate games :)
Nice game, very fun to play. I got the blood stone upstairs from one of the first fountains, but wasn't able to proceed down to the trapped pit, or right (because I'm a noob) A bit hard to finish while rating it, but I'm keeping it to play it later.
This game is really nice. My only complaint is having to wait at a blood fountain for my health to restore. It might have been better if it was instant.

Fooled me a couple of times.. thought I should take the fall, only to realize later on there is a lever hiding at the top right corner :laughing:
Very cool game :clap: the abilities where cool, But the enemies was very easy to :cheese:, maybe a enemy that would counter ranged attacks :frog: ? but i get it 48 hours right :frog: . The Environmental Hazards was the real STAR in this game, The DROP portion gave me a really nostalgic feeling. Also is there something after the boss ? i got no GG message or a path forward ? Bloodmage is a perfect fit for this :potato: theme so well done mate :clap: Boss Rekt.PNG
@rustycrow i finished adding the boss at like 6 PM flat, so i didn't have time to put in any fanfare :P good to know someone managed to clear it though! Thought it was rather easy but everyone has said it was too hard thus far xD
Wow cool game, great art, very spooky. Another bloody take on the theme, they all fit nicely together. Strong compo entry !! This jam is seeming very competitive this time, well done.
Nice game! The art style is very SNES like. Reminds me a bit of Castlevania in that sense. Good job on this one. Watching the blood refill my health was quite satisfying too. I reckon if you added a glow or something during this then it'd be even cooler!
That well section is insane, but I think it's the game at it's best. The combat is bit weak, but dodging and platforming is super fun, and I really commend the absolutely massive map for a jam game. It's easy to get caught up spamming and dying because you forgot how much life you have, but that's something you end up getting used to. One of my favs in the Jam!
Arggggggg I played this for half an hour but couldn't figure out how to beat the boss after getting all the orbs! I thought the game had a huge variety of things to do which is awesome for an LD metroidvania. Usually it can get pretty tedious between sections but yours was great. I definitely spent the most time on the right section, and the game in general was pretty hard, but I didn't mind the constant deaths. The game absolutely created tension as I was staring at my lifebar most of the time in fear of spending too much. Nice level design and fun game overall.
Nice one. I like the art but could use some variation in large areas.
