a really fun game! the approach you took, where it switches modes works great and is an elegant solution to the challenge
definitely an incompatible genre combination ！ i think a reward could be just as simple as a joke or reference to something in the story that you wouldn’t understand unless you read it. great job !

Love your style and a fun game too! Great to see fellow pico8 devs :) I would recommend downloading the latest version .12 and exporting your web player again, it runs a little smoother and is better on mobile. Nice job on the compo though!
