pizza time
A bit chaotic (in a good way) and very fun to play! :)
MAMA MIA THEY DESTROYED MY SHOP!
Controls are abit hard to use but i like that they had a :3 face and its pretty fun overall.
@joelle Thanks for the review! Is there anything about the control you suggest us to change in order to make them easier?
Reminded me of old NES games with the sound effects and the graphics and especially the music! I agree with @chrissimas , the game is chaotic in a fun way!
A good game, but i didn't really understand what to do. I realized where to build the turrrets after a couple of tries, but i didn't get how you were supposed to balanced cooking and building turrets. Even when i had a full loudout of turrets, my shop kept getting destroyed. Moving up and down was a bit clunky, since when the doors got destroyed you were trapped. Some explenation to where the turrets can be built would really improve the game. But, the idea was really good and i see the potential of the game!
Pizza time/10
***Best game ever.***
The tutorial controls didn't mention using the mouse, so I was confused at the beginning with how to build turrets. The game also crashed a lot, so I wasn't able to get very far. I also found the background music very repetitive.
I really like the idea though -- building up something you care about, customising it, and defending it from waves of attackers is a very compelling narrative.
The thumbnail for the game, and the main menu art, are really cute and quirky!
@dhialga Thanks for the feeback! We could not think in time a good way to explain the turrets, so we just showed the basic controls.
@elyaradine Thanks for the feeback! We could not think in time a good way to explain the turrets, so we just showed the basic controls.Sound are really something that we need to improve, we did one for the gun shoot(of only one enemy lol) and some background ones. It has a lot of crashs that we'll need to fix after the event ends, alot of problems appeared in the last minutes and we did not have time to fix everything, we just managed to get it playable.
The idea is hilarious and I really wanna play, but I can't figure out the controls :(
A cute little idea. Maybe a bit rough around the edges gameplay wise. You should mention the mouse controls at least on the jam and game page, I only found out by reading the other comments. The graphics have a very paint-esque look to them which makes the whole thing really charming. If you manage to sort out some of the quirks this could be a really cool experience. Well done!
ayy ooo i cook a da pizza pie mama mia
Not a bad take on a tower defence style game. Once I figured out the mouse controls it showed some promise, so I think some work on a tutorial or some way to help teach the player the game would be good. Nice work!
Hey! Saw your game was a few votes short, so I played it on Twitch and gave some live feedback! VOD is up on Youtube, if you'd like to see it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi6oja9yekY
Cool tower defense/shop sim sorta game! Definitely took me a while to figure out how to build guns. A popup message like for Repairs and Cooking, or the instructions letting me know I had to *click* on the guns, would've been appreciated. Nothing else used mouse, so it just didn't occur to me! I found the pixel art aesthetic really charming, especially Alessandro's cat happy-face and angle-bracket sad-face. It was a pretty unique concept too, and I enjoyed playing this. Thanks so much for making this!
