Died to a mutiny! Interesting concept, pretty cool Oregon Trail-Esqe LD submission. Fits very well with the theme. I enjoyed it but I found myself a bit confused what to do, would love to be able to repair the hull. I also really like the tiny graphics
Interesting concept, controls were a bit clunky but strong theme and direction
The graphics in this are second to none! Absolutely superb, interesting and fun gameplay too :)
Cool concept, love the graphics
Wow! Great job, what an awesome concept to explore and you guys did really, really well. Amazing work, you guys really nailed it!
Great atmosphere. Very challenging, loved the art style. The controls require almost pinpoint precision though, I think if the game were a bit more forgiving (i.e. dont just yeet the egg away when we collide) it would go a long way. Well done!
The graphics in this are superb, way to create an awesome atmosphere. I love the blend of retro and snow. Gameplay was pretty fun albeit a bit repetitive (but with 48 hours not much you can do there), i loved the jetpack idea. And again, the game just looks spectacular. Well done!
Unfortunately the game crashed straight away for me :/ (Linux, running the love file with Love2D)

Updated version works with Ubuntu 19.10 and Love 11.1 :) Just tested and played, really unique concept and a lot of fun! Graphics are simple but very clear, controls are fluid and easy to use. Well done!
I really enjoyed this, great work!
Nice little game. Graphics are nice, sound effects are solid. Nice little cutscene and i like that the game shows you how you died! I felt a bit confused and my character died a few times before I understood how to play (need to move obstacles out of the way) but after that I had a good amount of fun. Great job :)
Awesome little game! I loved the snow tracks and the cutesy graphics, well executed but very tough!
Cool game! Great graphics and very topical.
Fun little simple game, could see myself playing this on the bus or the train! Good work :)
Awesome work! Had fun with this one, I love text adventures, great to see someone make one for the Jam!
Got it working on linux. Incredibly fast paced, was hard to keep up with everything going on. I loved the graphics. I think if you slowed the enemy shooting down and maybe some hints when you can and can't pick up wheat it would go a long way. Well done though!
Great graphics, was pretty fun. I found it difficult to know what i had equipped sometimes and i missed a chance to kill a deer from it. I got up to day 7 and then killed emily hahaha good job!
Great graphics, great gameplay! Enjoyed the funny scenario (and speaking as an IT guy, very *very* accurate) Awesome work! Thoroughly enjoyed it :)
Very challenging. Great art style. Took me a while to understand that I have to keep hitting rocks to get food out, and also how to deal with monsters (didn't realise I just have to keep baby away). Good job!
What a fun little game! IT got sooo chaotic near the shore hahaha really made me laugh having my ship shaking like crazy. Great job, really fun
I like the idea, but I didn't realise you had to land on islands to collect cats + food. I was wandering aimlessly for a little while. I think keyboard controls would go a long way, the mouse control was a bit rough. Great work though, I enjoyed the simple art style and the mood of the game
Great game, well done. The dragons are hard. Did not like the scroll wheel aiming though if I'm honest, but I think its' a fun little compo entry. 9/10
Fun game, was a bit overwhelming at times but ultimately pretty good :)
Really hard but very funny! Love the concept, might use this to learn a few drink recipes ;)
Great work, it's really hard and sometimes I was confused how I died. Nice job though, fun little game
Wow incredible contribution to the jam! The graphics and controls are really tight, awesome gameplay loop, great variation with the enemies and their attacks. Top notch!
Unfortunately I couldn't get it to run on Linux :( Error message:

Hmmm that shouldn't be the case, I've been using OpenGL 3.3 on here for uni work. I'll do a bit of digging to see what the problem is
Awesome little baba is you style game. Was tough to get going at first but I came to enjoy, very innovative :) well done
Unfortunately I couldn't get the game to work on Linux :( Get's stuck just after the Unity logo, on the 'Loading' screen
@thedashdude thanks for the great feedback, I was hoping the graphics would have that effect :) re: the sound yeah definitely I wanted to add in a ticking sound when you're under 20 seconds but ran out of time, I didn't think of music changes. Something to keep on my radar. Cheers!
@princesschoochoo thank you for telling me! I'll borrow a mac and try exporting natively
@princesschoochoo Just updated the mac version, tested and working if you're still interested in trying it out
Thanks for the feedback everyone! @princesschoochoo I think it may be that it doesn't work for MacOS Catalina :/ I exported on mojave, but I'll have a look and try and see if there's a workaround.
@drprettypatty Thank you! You definitely figured out all my main inspirations haha. Yeah the chests are a bit finicky. I think its from the collisions when I exported them from blender. I'm definitely programming on Windows 95 ;) (actually just https://github.com/grassmunk/Chicago95 for XFCE)
@jonah what OS are you using? I'll try get that fixed up
@drunkardwolf Thank you :)
@jonah Catalina by any chance? I have it working on Mojave :/ Can you try the top answer here to see if it works ?https://superuser.com/questions/898124/the-application-someapp-app-can-t-be-opened
@jonah Thanks for taking the time :) I really appreciate it. Meanwhile I need to figure out what the hell is going on with Catalina
Thanks for the awesome feedback @jonah and @magnusfurcifer ! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I had a tonne of fun making it so I'm definitely going to keep building on the game and these requests are really good ideas!
and thank you for finding a work-around Jonah! I've updated the instructions to include detail about it @princesschoochoo if you're still keen to play, here's how on Catalina :)
The sensitivity is something a few people have mentioned, I think I'll add in a setting to let it be customised but clearly mark it as a post jam build :)
Thanks for the feedback guys!
@khopa thanks for the kind feedback :) yeah thats a known bug when the grue in a box eats multiple body parts, i've got a fix coming through for that. Thanks @darkmax14 glad you enjoyed it!
@mika-la-grand hmm thats odd, there are sounds + music. Were you muted by any chance? There's also a how-to play explaining every mechanic on the main screen :)
@fabula-rasa thank you for the extensive feedback! Yep those bugs I'll be fixing up, thinking I might port this to mobile soon and I'm going through and fixing up those issues. Thanks for the feedback on the graphics, I'm thinking of smoothing it out or creating alternate colour schemes for people who may get sick and tired of the black + white.
@baconn00 thanks for the feedback!
Thanks @prof-suarez
Challenging game! But the puzzles were really well made, sometimes I think the game was rewarding precision control rather than solving the puzzles which made things a bit of a challenge, but I really love the idea and it's executed very well nonetheless! Good job
Very challenging. Loved the simple graphics, the simple (but challenging) gameplay. Was very fun, the sort of game I'd play on the bus. Good Work!
Controls are tough to get used to but interesting and fun once you get the hang of them!
Simple and interesting. Great work, I like the art style!
Congrats on your first entry! Great job. I would like to see the AI be a bit more "dumb", I didn't manage to land a shot (perhaps that was my fault, I wasn't very good haha) he seemed glued to it. Otherwise, great job and well done!
Well made game! Great graphical style and nice solid controls. Great job!
Interesting concept haha I just came back for day 2. Lovely little idea
Very tough game, but I enjoyed it once I figured it out. The enemies took a very long time to spawn however and I almost quit because nothing was happening and I didn't know what to do. A short little blurb about what to do would be very helpful, as well as explaining controls. A little refinement and you'll have a great little arcade game :)
Challenging. Almost impossible if the light gets too dim, but good fun. More precise controls would go a long way. either way, thought it was nice, well done!
Very nice. I like the duality of the control's having to throw the pot and shoot the seed. Was very challenging, the graphics are also awesome too. Great job
Interesting take, I really like the idea of shooting your body and having your character move be a collection of entities rather than a single entity. The shooting felt sharp, although I'm not sure if I just ran out lives but the game crashed for me (linux) at a random point with no error message. All in all, really cool take, thought it was great
Nice simple game, congrats on creating something for the compo!
Cool little game! I love games like this and this was an interesting take. Nice and fun, albeit a bit easy once you get all the systems worked out :P Would love to see you build on this, I'd definitely play it if it were a fully fledged game!
Really fun! I agree that it desperately needs better instructions in the game about how to change layers and where to put body parts to fix them, I also almost gave up because I didn't know how to do anything. However once I figured it out, it was really really fun! I thought it was a great concept and executed well, just needs a bit more guidance for the player. Well done
