The UI might be the most funky-fresh thing I've ever seen. It was fun to make friends just so I could hunt down every last bit of dialogue, and the systems in place to help your influence grow are well thought-out and entertaining simply watching them work.

I really love this take on the theme -- I'd wanted to do something similar but couldn't come up with a concrete concept for it! I agree with ghodan, the UI is really excellent for a 48-hour game. I could have used just a little more feedback on the effect of friending people -- it was unclear exactly how much it was helping me contact other people. Alas, I couldn't meet more than ~150 people before everyone started to forget about me. :disappointed:

I had a good time with this game. It has a nice relaxing feel to it. A enjoyed a lot of the dialogue, there were a lot of Rick and Morty references, I didn't understand all of them there were so many. Also flattery is no way to gain better ratings, they said they really liked my game but I doubt they have even played it. Enjoyed my time, good luck!

Very interesting! The UI visuals were nice. I could only get up to around 190 people though before people started to forget about me. Walking around and seeing people highlight was nice, but going back to individuals didn't seem to have any immediate feedback for me - I was thinking maybe the radius of influence of getting to know people would increase or so. I would have liked to see the lvl of friendship as well. Pretty good experiment though!

I really like that UI :astonished: Also, I agree with @aeveis idea of influence growing as your popularity increases. Although you probably wanted to tell that it's impossible to maintain many friendships at the same time :smirk:

I like it! I'm curious if you could do a similar simulation with spreading 'ideas' and have words (like your name in this for example) mutate and get garbled the farther out from the source it spreads.

Interesting take on the theme. I could make it above 800 but then kept falling right back down to 500 or so. I guess I'm not very good at making my friends feel valued. It does a good job of communicating the idea that a few strong connections are as beneficial as a lot of very shallow ones.

I liked the quirky presentation and the humor in the dialogue. Audio gets top ratings for the Persona 5 soundtrack.

I think this game would have to reward you when you get a number of contacts. maybe more speed? I liked the highliting of the people you collide with, so cool style. Well done and good luck getting the votes :)

What an odly unique game. Better than anything I could have done, programming wise. The art is amazing and the texts are funny. Given some more time and some more game-play elements I'm sure it will be a very good game. On that note, we too are short of votes, so if you feel like it come by it will help a lot.

Interesting game, I like the random snippets of dialogue and thought the random name generation was pretty neat. Not sure exactly what to do, so I just ran around coloring as many people as I could.

A couple times, the dialogue included a FIRSTNAME and LASTNAME instead of the name I input, don't know where that came from.

Overall, nice job, interesting take on the theme, and a nice little game.

Love the simulated social interactions of the game and the crazy cool interface. It's actually a very challenging game too. Turns out I am equally as bad at making friends in this game as I am in real life. My favorite part is the humor and the uniqueness of the randomized names.

This game has such a great feel! The character design, UI, animation and text boxes all create a feel which is kinda crazy but also really cohesive and interesting. I kept trying to make friends with someone and I wasn't sure if I was at level 3 with them. I had more fun trying to keep friends with a few people than get as high a score as possible so I only got to about 100.

Definitely an interesting game, but it was hard to follow everyone in the whole game and I certainly did not play until I made 1000 friends. Quite impressive!
