Nice controls! The dash felt really nice. I wish the game was longer, though, and I had troubles with some of the level geometry for the jump. Overall I would just like to see more of it, it seems like an interesting world and the presentation was very nice!

There's no lose state! The controls are very cool though. I wish the lines stayed about for longer, or that the glowsticks ran out of power when you draw? I feel like this could be a cool mobile game with more stuff put into it.

Definitely wish I could have seen the tiles behind me, and a more clear indication of power! But I enjoyed it and it runs pretty smoothly. Especially the balance of moving slow or draining power is a great idea. I do wish the character 'locked on' to the path, because there were so many turns where I was hitting a wall because I'd turned too soon! Maybe I'm just bad :P

Enjoyed it! The whole game looks and feels very clean. Got about $1000 on my first run. Wish there was a bit more of a guide, and it felt like I very quickly ran out of power, but my only real gripe is that the pipe game portions repeated themselves. I think I played the same one three times with the same solution! Other than that, I think this could be really fun after some more work--it was calm and exciting at the same time.

That was a lot of fun! Very smooth gameplay. There were a few times, though, when I felt like the game forced me to give up. I was going pretty fast! Feels like there's a lot of potential for different level styles too. Would love to play this on my phone.

Some of the levels didn't work with the different camera angles; I think it may be better if it always stayed top-down or nearly-top-down. Overall, though, great game! I enjoyed it.

Thank you all for your feedback! We appreciate it. If we can find the time we'll revisit the movement and maybe release a postjam version. If nothing else we've definitely learned the value of playtesting! When implementing the movement system, we both knew what we wanted to achieve, and I think that meant that it was intuitive for us while being difficult for everyone else. That's definitely something to consider for next time. In the meantime I hope you've enjoyed playing it!

I just spent way more time playing this than I meant to. Really wish there were more upgrades and more variety, but this was really well done! The efficiency felt a bit strange, though. It just went up until you hit max speed, and felt like I wasn't really balancing speed and efficiency.

I really like this mechanic, it's very unique and a lot of fun to play with! I wish it were a little less random, though -- at one point I couldn't do anything at the first tile because there were only locks to go to, and it can seem unfair when you have 3 locks in every direction. If you could tighten up the procedural generation to make the progression more skill-based, and play around with different kinds of mechanics, this could be an awesome game that I would play a lot of.

It's a very pretty and polished game, but I struggled a lot with the controls. I tried to read most of the text at the bottom but because it flashed on and off I had trouble. My biggest problem was that you can't dash when you have an arrow key pressed, and that took me a long time to figure out. It was quite difficult to see everything as well, but I managed.

The sound is awesome! and the level design is well done (but I think it was difficult to tell what the level design was because of all the stuff on the screen). Max 2 more colors would have been really cool, and made it much more readable. I made it about halfway or more through the game before I realized the evil essence killed the skulls. My biggest problem with the enemies were the tiny little circles that moved straight across the screen and killed instantly, because they were almost impossible to see.

If you can make this in 48 hours, you could make something really amazing in even longer.

Definitely wanted longer levels where you could warm up, we discussed possibly using the sweaters you're wearing to build a tent, chopping down trees for wood would have been cool...maybe if we revisit this then this will all be things we add!

This was fun! It took me a while to understand but once I started to get the hang of it it was pretty cool. I think its biggest problem is readability; it was a little hard at times to see what was happening. I think I got to ~170? Great job!
