This was fun and challenging, it would be pretty great as a mobile game.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Briiik

Thanks @josh-ayres , I'm glad you enjoyed my game ! If more people ask for a mobile version, I'll probably do it.
Gameplay’s simple but challenging, and the visual presentation is really nice. It’s clever that the changing bar height makes them harder to click on the longer you leave them. Nicely done!
Pretty challenging stuff and nice aesthetics that fit the game. Would work great on mobile. The sfx is a little harsh on my ears.
Thanks @mahalis and @randomphantom :) Sorry for the sfx, I know it's not my best asset :D
I love the simplicity from it!
It gets so stressful as you progress in the game! Art is beautiful!
Definitely you could expand on this in terms of unlockables? Like maybe have a different texture on the blocks that you would obtain by gathering points?
Good job!
Neat concept, I would like to see more powerups of sort. The cyan (freeze) and purple (error) are effective but there is potential for more.
Thanks @tiberiusuciu and @gamepopper ! Both of your feedbacks have interesting ideas. Actually, I wanted to add unlockable items during the jam, but I didn't have the time to think about it and to implement it. So I took my last hours to debug the game at maximum (and no one found a bug, that's quite an achievement for me).
And about more powerups, well, to be honest, I didn't found some interesting and useful ones during the jam, except these two. If anyone has idea, don't hesitate :)
This is really good! It gets really difficult after about 50 or so. I could only get up to 78 D: Great job! :)
Interesting take on a clicker game. I like the little details like the freeze columns, the slow but steady zoom out, and the columns shrinking as they get closer to death. Graphics look nice and everything was buttery smooth. Great job!
Thanks @skeletonware and @fussenkuh ! Very kind of you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :) And 150 is still the best score !
AAAAAH! I love it!
It would be nice to have some powerups to slow some down or freeze a sector, or make some of them increase in size for a time, or something.
Really like this game! I love how quickly it ramps up, and the power up blocks were very creative. My best score was 93
Clean graphics, challenging game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxcULPo0hyk
My playthrough:

Gets pretty intense once you hit the 60-70 mark. Yeah a bit more variety of power-ups would be nice.
Thanks @andreas-ragen-ayal and @budgiem2 , I'm so glad you liked it :) freezing sectors is a really cool idea ! I'll implement it if I continue to work on it (no idea at the the moment, to be honest, waiting for more feedbacks and final ratings).
Two let's play in a row, thanks @jupiter-hadley and @miaw ! I didn't have time to do more power-ups, sorry ! Maybe later, we'll see :)
Pretty tough game, the difficulty really ramps up quickly after a score of 50. Loved the simplistic but clean graphics, but the audio left a little to be desired. Nice work overall, enjoyed playing!
Thanks @alottabit, I'm glad you enjoyed :) I can't disagree, if I continue the game, first thing to do is creating better audio.
SO ADDICTIVE
Thanks @nnnikki, I have the same problem with this game too ;)
@goloso-games I think you should add more powerups tho.
97 ! Really interesting concept ! I really enjoyed it. But a music would be appreciable though.
Cool game ! Keep coding !
@nnnikki I agree, but didn't have enough time to do it during the jam. I don't know if I'll continue to work on this game, it depends on feedbacks and ratings.
Thanks @mathiouza, glad you enjoyed :) I don't know if I'll continue this game, will see !
If all you had was 8 hours, this is about a good a game as you could make. I'd definitely convert it to mobile, it could be one of those viral hits with more secret sauce.
Thanks @madbeagle ! Yes, that was all the time I had. I wanted to do more power-ups, actually. I have no idea if I will convert it to mobile, but a couple of raters like you asked me for it, so maybe I'll do it.
It's actually good that I didn't read the instructions, I was nervous about not knowing what to do at first but learning by playing and making mistakes was really quite fun. Well done! Oh, and cool style too!
Thanks @zirrus ! :) I wanted to make an easy game where everyone understand how to play in a few games, I'm glad that it works for you.
The visual style is very appealing! I like that the mechanics work so well both for playing and for the theme. I would not have expected you to have spent only so little time on this, it seems quite polished. I think playing it on a touch screen would be even more fun, and it's a very good fit for the mobile market i guess. The tutorialization was also very good, the only thing i missed that i could have only 3 errors before losing. Very good game!
Thanks @rongo-matane for your detailed feedback ! At first I wanted only 2 errors. If I will work on Briiik, I'll add a new way to play the game, probably with achievements and steps to complete.
Have you done anything with this since the jam? I was thinking maybe it was worth you putting together a version to send to Ketchapp and Voodoo Games, who seem to be dominating the App Store with casual games like this.
@Madbeagle I'm lucky to find your comment :D No, I didn't do anything because I am working a lot on my main game but I will, soon : adding more depth to the game (achievements) and most important, find someone who can make some good sound effects ;) Thanks for the info !
