Creepy. Opening it up in the woods with just a flashlight really set me on edge (in a good way). Great mood setting and good use of theme!

@f4kethis thanks for your feedback (:
you can opt out towards the bottom of the "edit game" page
This was pretty cool. It sort of reminds me of early silent hill games and older psychological horror games for PC. With some added sound effects and/or music (with for example Harpischord sounds), I think it could have gotten even creepier :smiley:
When the game started I was like "ok something will creep on me" [no spoil] I quite liked it, but I wonder if I finished it because there were no end screen, only return to the main menu.
I think you could have done the whole game in the forest, because the graphic styles of the forest and of the dungeon are different, and I prefer in the forest ;)
@thomas-lacroix yeah i know i started creating a end screen + animation where the player get up from bed and realize that was only a bad dream i was on probably half way but i don't have time to finish so i don't put it in the game.
@sodaro i don'have time creating sound only steps +typewriter because most of my time modelling with my friend
By pressing ESC in the dungeon you can read notes!
The game looks really great and both forest and dungeon made me feel quite creeped out even though their styles were different. Silence in which only your own footsteps can be heard actually helped the creepy mood. The only problem I had was that I went to the end of the forest and then end of the plain and I jumped out and fell, that was surprising
well done (:
Cool!
Really nice game, will probably try to do something in 3D next time too!
I was wondering, whats under the trap door? can it be opened?
Also, does this guy have bloody diarrhea? LD_GUY.JPG
@cipery yeah if you knocking somebody answer you, but I think i made one mistake in the audio ): Btw thanks for feedback :)
And the blood under the guy and on the table have important role in the story if you find the secret note (":
The game looks great, in my opinion the movement of the camera is noisy, I would just let it fixed. The game puts yourself in a constant alert state because you think that something it's gonna happen soon. The sound effects are very good and the art looks great, althought you said it's not all yours. Keep working this way and you will arrive far!
No controls, no Ending (Just Main Menu), just keep walking down a "corridor" picking up obj to complete the game. Jam Theme only shows in narrative and ambient, but this game is not about "Sacrifices needed to be made"
@dmanzano101 i don't know why are you so nervous and what do you mean no controll? Yeah I don't work out good the theme but it have 2 endig (Sacrafice yourself and the secret + I write the ending animation why missing) Thanks for feedback but if you don't like something it's not mean it is bad not everyon work in group like you so most of my time modelling (:
Good job on putting a 3D world together!
It looks great and feels appropriately creepy :). I didn't realize that __you can interact with E__ so I fumbled a bit at first, but I dig the atmosphere.
One way to set the mood even more might be to add sound effects for imaginary events happening off-screen (maybe creaks in the dungeon, shuffling bushes in the forest, a moan from downstairs when you walk back after picking up the knife,...).
Well done overall!
@fre ohh i now realize i dos not describe the control...Thanks for telling me(:
I can't seem to pick this up... How do I interact with things? I tried clicking all mouse buttons and almost every key.

@wyattis Interact with E
I see the theme in the atmosphere, wich is great, of the game. But it lack a bit of other mechanics. Keep going !
I must have hit every key apart from E haha. Thanks! The game was fun! I'm not sure where it's supposed to end, but I definitely got surprised! Nice job!
@wegpast @wyattis thanks for the feedbacks (:
Really nice atmosphere! I think if you had more than the 72 hours you could turn this into a pretty cool and atmospheric adventure game.
As others, it took me a while to figure out that interact is E (I tried SPACE and left mouse click). Also, would be nice to say when picking up notes something like "Press escape to read" (I only found out you could read the notes after reading the comments on this page).
Regarding the art - I think it looks incredible and very atmospheric, but since you said you didn't make all of it I don't really know how to score. In any case, everything I saw I really liked so good job! :)
Well done atmosphere!
Nice job on the atmosphere -- it definitely felt spooky. Some background audio, even ambient would have sold it more. I couldn't find the item needed for the red liquid after wandering around for 5 minutes -- I probably just missed something but maybe making the interactable stuff more obvious would help. Nice job!
Great to see a FPP game. A bit more audio and something beyond finding objects would've definitely helped. Overall pretty good job.
Have you made those graphics?
Great game, overall scary looking for sure.
The atmosphere was great. I got tense right from the opening scene. I got a bit stuck after I got my third note, I think having some sort of hint system that highlight points of interest could make this game much better. Great job!
creepy but fun👍
Really needs some ambient sounds, crank that suspense up! :)
Nice job.
This really has some great potential, the atmosphere, character quotes and graphics were really well implemented alongside the smooth controls. Although, it may need some ambient sounds to sustain the mood. All in all, well done!
@jfraser314 @legavroche @anna-karpova @deathbysnail @hdugmag thanks for the feedback (:
I'm cracking up over the skeleton with bloody diarrhea. I'm a big fan of old school 3d rpg visuals like this, good job. I agree that sound would take it up a couple notches.
