great, I was alone at first in the background but suddenly I got shouted xD
very cool idea, a little (really a little) more gameplay, throwing money/slamming a door/quit the job/cry/pull up a wall/jumping/... would be cool though, as I understand the one that presses space the quickest wins? :p or is there more? :p
anyway, I think when you make a multiplayer for LD you should always try to make some sort of bots aswell, since that allows people to really play the game even if there is noone arround
even if you're shit at AI, people wont judge for that, but people that are just alone will not be happy because they cannot see any gameplay at all

easy to figure out how to 'win' there is no real win,
once you get to the stage of 10 employers it's pretty much done :p
nice, I didn't understand how to clear a level though,
there was a rainbow thingy that I couldn't interact with, and the pressure plate in the lower right corner did nothing aswell, so when timer runs out I'm doomed :p
about the same concept as I had ;-)
mine is just with more clicking :p

at start just move 2 places down
rest of the game just continue going down one step ( sometimes the timing is just to slow so you need to skip a step )

maybe make it more clear that by clicking on the circle you close the entire path, not just a gate at the circle, people are confused that the entities still go through it :p

good interpretation of the theme!
was lacking some 'fun' aspects though, game has way more potential that delivered, but that's to expect from such a short deadline :D
