I agree with FireSlash. I don't think that it was difficult enough. But I do also think that is was a very fun game overall. :)

2D minecraft :D
Really nice puzzle :). The graphics all work very well with each other.
Really nice interpretation of the theme. And awesome that the map is randomly generated. Those last levels get brutal though :P. Managed it in the end :D
The issue I have is that a few times I entered a room and was immediately hit by an enemy taking away all my hearts in one go :(. Most games get around this by adding temporary invincibility, maybe that would work better then having the player pushed back? Or maybe have both?
Nice addictive game, but the music was quite repetitive. Also, the ability to restart mid game when you know you won't be able to win would've been nice.
@Vulture Tamer But not as good as me :P. (My best is 210, but then again I have played this around 70 times)
@Random Abductions I am aware of this, after you've got most of the board. But if you want really high scores, you need to keep the number of cells you have to a minimum in order to prevent blue taking over.
@LostTrainDude I'm not sure what made me think of the game of life. But, you know what they say about great minds...
@Namide Thanks for the feedback, the grid has been there from about 1 hour into the competition (when the grid was much smaller) and so I hadn't thought much about it :)
@vrld Your avatar isn't very stable, it won't last that long... Oh, now I'm thinking of everything in terms of the game of life... Seems that's what spending 2 days making a game about it does to you :P
@Aomeas Yes, the music is from there; took about 3 attempts before it came up with something I was vaguely happy with. I imported it to LMMS, changed the instruments (that is one thing it isn't very good at choosing) and took out the bits I didn't like :P. 156 is a very good score, well done :D.
Yay, got 125. Everything is so polished, really nice game :D
Great use of the theme :P
Great mood and polish. The sound effects and the graphics come together really well. Especially the lighting effect, and the screen shakes. Really enjoyed playing this :D
The mood is amazing, with the music building up makes this incredible. Really loved this game :D
This really tested my rgb knowledge. Under pressure working out which combo was yellow was quite a challenge. Really interesting idea :D
Sound effects would really improve this entry. Just grab a microphone and hit random stuff in front of it. You'd be amazed at how much it improves the game :D
Great, although the later levels became quite boring as I was just circling the enemies and shooting off the outside ones. It started lagging quite badly on level 8 (is that level even possible?)
I really jumped when I saw those enemies run at me. I do agree with some of the other commenters that some of them took too many bullets to kill, but I really enjoyed playing it :D.
Tried to run it (on ubuntu 14.04) and when I press play I get the following error:

Really liked the use of the fractals, but those demons seemed invincible... Got to wave 3

I guess that would count as a port :)
You're mood score would've been higher had there been music and sound effects. Take a look at abundant-music.org and consider hitting random things in front of a microphone for sound effects.
My arm hurts now after having had to use the mouse so carefully, I made it to level 4 before I had to stop. I must admit, I'm a sucker to the text that appears. Maybe you could add some motivational text after every level is completed?
Overall a good entry, but it would be nicer if you could in some way make the mouse less sensitive ;).
Nice, although the sound effects are really annoying. Try making your own (rather then generating them) by hitting things in front of a microphone. It takes about 10 minutes and you get some amazing sounds from it :)
The graphics are amazing and its fun when you have a MASSIVE cat slowly making its way around the board.
Great entry
Nice sound effects, they really worked with the game. Although I found that I could spin stationary at the centre of the board and repeatedly shoot at which point I destroyed all the asteroids and collected all the power ups. It didn't say I won at that point though :(
You could improve the mood by potentially putting stars in the background :D

I can confirm it works on ubuntu 14.04 (it would count as a port).
Sound effects are annoying but otherwise great. I though the "it floats if its the last one" thing was a bug, but I guess it wasn't :P
