Really great game, I want to play it again...
I liked how you made the pixelated level, however it was hard to move through it, in some point I thought I was stuck but there was another way.
The ending reminds me some movie I will not tell because I hate spoilers.
Liked it, is a fun game. Monkeys are a bit tough, have to throw a lot of stones to kill one, I preferred to continue without killing them.
Also, a mini map would be great to know where the f@$%! I am :P
Why the hell I cant play the applet on linux?? I was about to say "great you have applets, Java ftw!!", but now I will have to eat my own words :(
Also, I was about to try the jam version, to be a more polished version instead, but cant because there is no downloadable jar for that one.
Even tough, like the camera, movement style and graphics. I have played a lot the linux version and I found no enemies :( and no nothing...
Well, tell me if you fix and update the jam version to work on linux, so I can try it and change my rating.
Nice, tried it again, really like the action and the way you open a path shooting the walls.
You should ask in javagaming.org about the focus problem, I also have some java applications (using webstart instead of applet) without keyboard focus problems, that could help too.
Changed my rate now that I played the game well. However, I cant rate the audio.

Spikes are not clear enough, so no information telling you are going to die is clear either. Music is a bit repetitive.
It is really hard to control, too sensitive, besides I don't see the theme relation.
'The day I died' is like a fusion of super meat boy with vvvvv :P

you have to discover the safe way... try the jam version, it is more balanced than the compo version.

The movement felt like driving a car :P, the game looks like a basic unity game and I don't see the theme relation.
It was funny to see all the creatures being created, but I felt like following no objective. Indeed, it seems more like a toy than a game itself.
You should make a way to skip dialogs, I had to restart the game and have to hear again everithing :(
Really liked it, took me some time to discover that I could buy fuel and other stuff at main planet. Great work.
I like the content but I felt like I was not playing nothing, more like watching a movie or reading a book.
I will not rate it to avoid influence the rating because I didn't understood the game or something.
Tried on chrome os, on linux, it worked, however I don't hear any sounds, so I don't know if I catch a crest or don't.
I like the graphics and the idea a bit but the movement felt slow, it is not clear when the world "ends", and you have to refresh the browser if you want to play again.
Above all, like you have used js but there are a lot of problems yet (sounds not working, slow, etc), that is bad for the game.
Population grows too fast and sometimes I didn't discovered if they were male or female, like scan was not working :(. Also, it moves slow, and I needed a way to restart the game without having to close it and open it again.
The game sucks a bit right now xD but I really like the game concept.
I liked it, how you have to discover the prices, the graphics, the audio, etc.
Cant see clearly the enemies, colors are to soft, but I really like your game.

After playing a bit, it becomes repetitive. Also, enemies kill each other so sometimes I only jumped and dashed an they did all the job.
You always are alone so the "GO ALONE" is some kind of redundant and it feels like you put it only to match the theme.
Above all, I love your games, mainly the music and sounds which are awesome.

Looks like the story is almost not related with the game:S. You start with a ship talking about selling stuff to humans but then it is a platform game where you have to do typical platform games stuff. Game type is soooooooooooooooo used, I am not saying I don't like it but I can't think about good score at Innovation at all :(
Also, can't understand how the game is relate with the theme.
However, I liked the game, it was easy to control and has great looking graphics, sad it doesn't have any sounds nor music.

I liked how you changed the game between dimensions and the dialogs between the player and the other characters. However I didn't understand the importance of the torch but also I didn't finish the game so I can't judge that.

I agree with the others about the objective of the game is a bit hard to understand, I was playing and didn't know what I was doing until I played three or four times.
However, you made a great work in overall, both graphics and audio nicely done, also all your posts and time lapse.

Simple but great game. A bit uncontrollable after a while.
Game becomes quite repetitive but thanks that is fixed a bit by the different weapons mechanics. Tried only some weapons, Crying baby was the best one. I really like how game mechanics changes between using one or another weapon.
Dialogs were great too, it gives the player the feeling he is interacting with the game. Also, they made me laugh a lot.

Yeah, it is a bit incomplete in that, the first idea was to make the "vampire" to run away from the sun but then I never added the sun light following you so it doesn't transmit the idea of escaping.
Happy the game resulted to be fun though.

Nice game, I had fun playing it.
About the game, it was a bit funny bit there was no challenge at all, I kept jump pressed and always escaped from the big rock, also nothing new happened.
About the distribution, the game didn't worked by running run.bat nor jones.jar but after copying native files to the same folder where jones.jar is, it worked. Also, why didn't you released a linux version if you were using java and lwjgl? I tell you that because I use mainly ubuntu and have to restart to windows to test your game to discover it could be played on linux if you put the natives for lwjgl there.

Sadly I couldn't play it, it fails for some reason and xna installer says I have it already installed so I dunno what could be happening.

I found the exit!!! good game, I like the dwarf dialogs while you are playing. Not sure how balanced it is but don't like so much each movement thought an empty block consumes so much of my health and hours.

There is no feedback the talisman hits the enemies.
Some times it double jumps when I touch only once.
It was a bit hard, mainly because checkpoints are far away from each other, that sucked a bit.

Great game, I love the atmosphere of the game, the aesthetics and sounds effects.
I really like how simple is to play the game, but on the other hand being so simple goes a bit against fun sometimes.

It is fun (and useful sometimes) to let the dynamites throw you away when they explode, but strange since I thought I was going to lose hp or even die with the explosion.

The game wasn't so fun to play in terms of controls and stuff to do but I really loved how well the theme was interpreted and (spoilers!) the decisions you have to make during life. Kudos! Awesome game!
I don't completely like the controls, I mean, if I can't rotate the camera (or didn't understand how) then don't limit my speed in other directions, and also if I can run without limits, why not running all the time? Even though I found those control issues, the game is good and looks nice.
Good graphics and sounds, it was a bit hard, couldn't beat third level. I didn't understand the E key to interact, it was always the same result for the enemies, they say something and then I have to attack them. I expected using the slaves to cover me in some way in order to fight higher level enemies but they just die and I lose :(
Mmmm, the truth is I didn't remember about the jump mechanics xD, I completed more levels now.
It looks really good and has good audio but I wasn't able to hit the enemies, the pace was a bit slow and it was like nothing was happening. Not sure if you had to slow down everything in order to make upgrades worth the investment but the first impression wasn't the best for an action game (I suppose). I played with a gamepad and with the keyboard just in case it was the controller the reason I couldn't hit the enemies but failed with both.

I Liked the concept of using time as currency but didn't understand the relationship between the character and the items nor the motivation to protect them. However, it was nice to play it.
I like the concept of being a Necromancer and sacrifice my blood in order to summon my army. I played multiple times :)
The only thing I don't like so much is not being able predict the battle in a proper way so I can't make a good strategy. I just know the defense value and I suppose I can handle it but then new enemies appear and they attack me from the distance and are really hard to overcome without more units so I already lose.
Another thing, I can't do anything once I lose my army, I understand once I have spells I can do things but before that the only strategy is buy as much as possible just in case because if you lose by 1 unit, you are lost even with 100 blood.
I like the idea of positioning my army in the field in order to overcome the enemy but counldn't take so much advantage, not sure if because I didn't master it yet or because the game is not balanced to that point yet.
I liked the pixel art retro look, it was like playing those games from my childhood xD. It was nice to play it.

I like the music & sfx though and I believe it is well polished but it is a bit hard to understand or I am a very very bad player (I read the instructions before playing).
Didn't understand the game, I just played until a point where I didn't want to jump anymore because it was really hard to pick stuff and then I lost but didn't know why either. Music & sfx are good.
It was enjoyable, even though I didn't followed the story, it was fun to use the hook and fire and get back the arrows.
You are correct, I reduced the spice in each location at the last moment just to make the player have to find another spot but forgot to make them smaller to keep the density or even make it more dense so it is not fun to harvest.
