You can shortcut the first few stages by direct aiming at the flag. The gliding is a bit too much, you fall off quite often :)

It's cool, but I just couldn't enjoy myself playing it. Too frustrating I guess, or maybe I just suck.
the movement mechanic was perhaps a bit too sensitive; I felt I was constantly flying over the islands. Otherwise, solid concept and quite interesting gameplay.
A lot like a cross between Scorched Earth and golf! The clouds are really nice.
The sliding was really distracting mechanically and visually. Having the power bar increase and decrease rather than just stay at max would have been nice. Other than that, a solid mechanic and some good design!
Gorgeous graphics on this one. Sound design is also very strong (though missing music).
I liked the jumping mechanic. However, nothing stops you from jumping at full power almost every time. The first few levels can be won in a single well-aimed jump. Maybe a timing-sensitive mechanism, or perhaps gusts of wind blowing you off course at high altitudes could help keep things spicy.
Nice job on the checkpoints, though! It made the game a little too easy, but it's better than being frustrating.
Good work, overall!!
I liked this. Could use some music or more DEFINED sound effects, though. It's like golf but with a man and a jetpack. In other words... AWESOME.
Great idea and execution. Some music would be great.
This is a cool little game - nice and simple and easy to get into. I enjoyed jumping between islands and messing with the physics, it was quite fun. I also had it working via Webstart on Mac OS X. My one critique is that I wish it would have infinite lives and the challenge could be found a different way (like a # of jump target instead), as most of the fun was in experimenting, not in repeating levels.
Ah man I got some annoying bug where the rocket sound kept repeating. And then it kept going for about 60 seconds after I closed the game. The jetpack sounds more like a whip cream sprayer, btw.
Lovely little game, I do enjoy these kind of angle/force style games. There's definitely improvements you could make it to feel a little less trial and error. Like showing dots of previous launch points and making it about par per level instead of lives. But in 48-hour good work.
