Wow um. I loved this game until I spent forever and a day on China and couldn't beat it. If you are gonna make an upside down level, don't make it the first level of any real difficulty and make it a little easier, I think. Still, best audio Ive played so far, and 2nd funniest after Capsize!.
Kinda tiring to have to push the blocks around in order to solve the puzzle. I figured out how to do level four and then I just didn't want to do it all over again after a few restarts due to frustrating missed key presses.
The first time I tried to play this it wouldn't work. For some reason, it worked today, although after less than a minute it appeared to lock up. :( I like the graphics and the use of bananas.
Hard to exit. Music made me grateful for the mute function. Also, I don't think you are supposed to use teams for this contest. AI was god-like and beat the **** out of me before I could tell where the **** I was.
Hey, it's Caleb from your game jam! I got your game in my assigned list. It's my fave from the jam, although it's, as you say, unbalanced and silent. The current win condition reminds me of Hexic for some reason... I think it would be interesting to have the first part of the game be about defending and building your base to relative self-sufficiency, allowing the player to progress to raiding a counterpart enemy installation.
The art is outstanding, especially the gradual progression of the islands. I also dig the fish. I think I also learned quite a few techniques from the much-appreciated time-lapse.
Ah man I got some annoying bug where the rocket sound kept repeating. And then it kept going for about 60 seconds after I closed the game. The jetpack sounds more like a whip cream sprayer, btw.
Default mouse sensitivity is way too low. I find the jump control based on look angle to be frustrating since I have to look really high as a default so I am punished for looking where I am going. Sometimes the sounds for hitting a grey island seem more rewarding than those for a green island. One time I booted the game and couldn't see anything for some reason, probably my fault. The game's keyhandler doesn't like my key remapping system so I had to use two keyboards to play the game - one for the enter key and one for the space bar. I'd recommend just using the space key for everything that currently uses enter (good idea, Codexus). This is really close to being an awesome robot unicorn in 3d sort of thing.
Maze + drowning + air from story morsels scattered through maze. Okay. The music really grated on me, especially because it was all there was to think about at times. The limited sight and dead ends made me feel like my chain was being yanked. I think I would have quit if I had ever ran out of the health (Although I honestly don't know if the memories are that), but after the first time I almost ran out I just kept trudging back to the last recovery point after every dead end. Think it would have been better to just make it linear like Judith rather than adding dead ends and a ticking health bar.
I also found the "night" effect to be jarring. I found it fast paced enough to be "mindless" fun. Having enemies give the same amount of experience gain regardless of the level difference from the player was actually really good - otherwise the order in which viable targets were found would matter too much.

I think there should be more levels with backtracking of some kind for a future version.

Not worth what it asks from me, imo. Judith is one of my top 5 favorite indie games, though, so 5 for community.

Wasn't fun so much as stressful! Very... disquieting.

Too hard. Died from pirate. Died from pirate I had already killed? Died from pirate that sprouted from where I had just killed a pirate?!

I think I ran into some bug, everything turned red/black. Couldn't find any enemies due to that.

Glad I finally got it to run because it's the funniest I've played yet! Game is kinda unplayable, though.

Needs a back in the mini menu. AI got stuck for me so I won automatically.
