ickylevel

I have 5 fps :(

I can see where you're trying to go with your concept! I like the idea of the multiple views, but I just wasn't able to get into the game. Gameplay was not as intuitive as it could be. At one point my submarine disappeared and I wasn't sure if I died or if there was a bug. I encountered many other graphical bugs and performance issues.

If you want to develop this further I'd suggest watching people play it cold. As well, clean up the bugs.

Congrats on getting a submission done! Hope you had a fun first-LD. :)

localcoder

This is a bit rough around the edges. I didn't have much success with my submarine submerged, and resorted to sitting on the surface firing heaps of torpedoes as the ships approached.

Hempuli

Certainly promising, if a bit confusing as it is.

Jonathan Whiting

Pretty interesting but very glitchy and hard to figure out.

fydo

I was unable to locate the sourcecode for your entry.

Tom 7

I didn't understand what the view that always faced right was for, and anyway it's too hard to see anything when underwater. I just ended up learning the enemy's route and then charging it, letting go a torpedo when really close to that thing.

The red border around the outside of the game behaves pretty strangely..?

Daz

Link seems broken.

Entar

Looks like a decent start, but it could use quite a bit of polish. I could see this becoming a very interesting game though.

Endurion

Quite sluggish (16 FPS). Simple take on islands, it took me a while to find an enemy. I noticed you can go beyond the borders.

SonnyBone

This is tough to control at first, but I got used to it. The game kept glitching up, though, and my submarine would teleport around the screen at random.

:(

I think this game just needs some more work. There were no enemy ships whatsoever for the first 3 minutes I played, although there were screwed up red lines on the edges of the map and I was able to just sail right over islands. Also I couldn't see any purpose whatsoever to the different view modes.

Pyrrhuloxia

I think I ran into some bug, everything turned red/black. Couldn't find any enemies due to that.
