LD21 — Escape

Crystal Conduit by Daz 2011-08-23T03:11:00

The best strategy is to go near a launcher and have it launch a missile into the wall, and you quickly run by after that. If not, the missiles also blow up on their own after about 4 seconds if you can run away that long.

Smash Shove Solve by wally2069 2011-08-22T21:33:00

The sound/music is VERY quiet, but it's there!

Cave Escape by Josh @ Dreamland 2011-08-22T21:28:00

Once you get over the game not really liking you attempting to influence your own trajectory, take it slow and you'll beat it. It's all about knowing how the game plays, and it was designed as such. The gems are mostly hidden well, and if you're reading this far you've probably discovered the in-game gem tracker.

HINT: for those looking for purple, when it looks like you've come upon a hilariously cruel dead end, it may not have been so.

LD22 — Alone

Alone in the Scary Darkness with Zombies by Codexus 2011-12-21T02:51:00

It seemed weird to me that you made so many health packs instead of just lowering the damage the zombies did. Also looked like your door knob had inverted normals. Would have been fun too if there was a goal point you had to reach.

The Last Leech by Daz 2011-12-28T06:29:00

Hey summaky, thanks for trying. I am not a Linux poweruser by any means, but I just added a 64 bit version of the game. The game also depends on OpenGL, GLU, and OpenAL as added above.

Stuck by brachyonic 2011-12-22T15:05:00

Says the exe stopped responding on startup, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, intel i5, nVidia GeForce 310m, some 5400 rpm hdd, 4gb ram..

Move It! by GTB 2011-12-20T21:41:00

The third level or so can't be beat. The yellow box at the top doesn't send you to another level.

The Cheese Stands Alone! by EvilDemonCreature 2011-12-20T21:49:00

It's still kind of unclear. I was able on the first stage to SPOILERhavethemouseeatthecheeseandthecateatthemouseSPOILER but nothing happened after that so I must not understand the objective.

The Cheese Stands Alone! by EvilDemonCreature 2011-12-22T01:02:00

Alrighty guys, I figured out how to play the game. Hopefully by now you've read the title and figured out how to get stuff moving. A hint is SPOILERyoucanmakethingsmoveoffthescreentohavethemdisappearSPOILER

Limbus Kitten by scgrn 2011-12-22T15:08:00

The intro and instructions come up, but afterward it stays as a black screen indefinitely (with "orb 0/2" being drawn happily at the corner still).

Alone in a cave with some bats by Atnas 2011-12-22T15:31:00

Even with the newest build there's a lot of problems.. you can get stuck to the ground unable to jump, and you can fall through the floor.

LD23 — Tiny World

Planet Master by Dakota 2012-05-13T16:24:00

There were a couple of typos and some glitches. I bought some more small, med, and large ships and my home planet said I had 65,000 of them. (I think you hit MAX_INT) There were also some problems where planets would show randomly (or was this a feature) and after defeating a planet and mining it sometimes the battle screen showed. Also didn't have any sound effects so didn't hear any corrupt sounds either. Win x64 using the included emulator. Pretty interesting game though over all.

The Little Glitch by Kroltan 2012-04-24T19:43:00

Heh, I had to use the new version just so it would run on my laptop. I'm glad you didn't make the puzzles overly-complex!

A Tiny World Hero by midgard 2012-05-13T23:34:00

Aside from the odd bots, the spawning system was very odd. Sometimes things would just fly out of the sky, some spawned in the tiles on the far left. Jumping was glitchy; you could get stuck in walls and fall through floors. Interesting game and ran smooth though.

Tiny Room by chaosBrick 2012-05-13T23:43:00

Heh yeah ran into some of the same problems as others. Game ran smooth as butter until the explosions. I also felt the tank was a little bit too big for how small and close together the bullets were. Still a pretty fun game.

Defendor of Tiny World by Zhal 2012-05-13T23:48:00

I felt the enemy bullets moved too slow. I would have much rather been able to kill an enemy and taken its bullet instead of killing a bunch of enemies then darting around making sure the bullets didn't hit the planet. Pretty enjoyable though overall

Biodome by 7Soul 2012-04-24T17:38:00

Same situation as madpew. Maybe a little hint if it's not a bug? :)

Tiny Domination by Daz 2012-04-23T23:00:00

@stromchin I am not aware of any downtime happening, maybe the DNS went down though. If it still appears as down for you I will mirror to dropbox, as I have everything hosted from my website

Also sorry all for the music. Made it at 3am or so because I wanted some music =P

Also I just noticed a problem with the web version's tutorial... Making a note.

Tiny Domination by Daz 2012-05-13T15:36:00

@Incredible Ape: Yeah drawing fighters on the minimap is something I definitely wanted to do, along with making a fighter cap and making you able to navigate via the minimap with fighters selected...

@Christina: Not necessarily finishing this, but I am porting this to mobile devices and trying to do some more polish along the way.

End of the World by bcjordan 2012-04-24T19:29:00

Please upload the APK somewhere else, it gives an error "Error: blob is too big" when trying to download.

Gravity Sucks [WEB] by Nocturne 2012-04-24T19:51:00

I was able to get stranded on the last planet at the top once because the UFO was too far away :( Pretty fun though

Accidentally Pretentious by PiedotTaste 2012-05-13T23:53:00

Odd but satisfying. Would have loved if you'd gotten image rotation working, I think it would have made it look a lot better. It was already an awesome effect though.

3 Arrows by wupto 2012-04-24T17:15:00

If you stand next to a wall and shoot, your arrows are lost. Some times things are off the screen so you can't really tell what they are (e.g. spikes) or where they are until it's too late.

Homedefender by Hopps 2012-04-24T18:18:00

I wished the bullets from my turret would move a bit faster! XD but the speed currently forces a bit of strategy.

Save the Tiny World by bugninja 2012-04-24T19:27:00

I was able to get the game to error after going down the first pipe the 2nd or 3rd time. I think it's because my character was slightly offset (about half of him was out of the pipe). Pretty good other than that though

Space Jumper by lucars83 2012-05-13T23:30:00

Doesn't work for me. A little too late to be really looking into fixes, but I'm pretty sure I have every .NET and XNA under the sun installed.
