LD23 — Tiny World

Atom Grid by Suyo 2012-04-27T19:28:00

cool game actually, i like the concept and sounds a lot, but in my opinion endless mode is just to easy to mess up mentally, I got into some precise-clicking-trouble soon.
Thus it wasn't really what it was meant to be :/
Anyway, really cool game there (except for the music :P)

Super Fun Crushy Time! by Darkfrost 2012-04-30T12:51:00

pretty cool overall, also respectable amout of artwork you did within the 48 hours. However, I find it hard to keep the music going, it became annoying after some time. This is some nice work though.

Submarine: This Ain't Your Momma's Bathtub, Tovarisch by kibertoad 2012-04-24T20:33:00

quite nice game there, but I got kinda lost not really knowing what i was doing (probably because I was too lazy to read everything). So, yeah I ended up reading the final Text not even realizing it was the end... anyways, the game was fun to play as it had some really fitting music + ambient.

LD24 — Evolution

Tonality by hgcummings 2012-08-31T12:19:00

Great game!
In fact I enjoyed the exponantial difficulty because with that the result of the game really represents your skill.
What would have been nice though would be two different game over screens (one for winning and one for losing).

Despite that little thing this is the best game that I've played so far.

Stickman Evolution by chaosBrick 2012-08-31T11:11:00

@kiwi
Sorry, i haven't been able to send a proper directx9 setup with the game, which causes these messages to pop up. Maybe it will run if you install another DX9-game on your computer and then try it out?

Stickman Evolution by chaosBrick 2012-09-08T20:17:00

DirectX is not supported on mac systems, and I do not own a mac system., so there's no way to get this thing to run on a mac.

Evoroid by ahnimal 2012-08-31T11:38:00

I like the idea of the game, but i can imagine that this would work out better as a top-down shooter as I didn't really know if I was attacking the enemies or they were attacking me.

LD25 — You are the Villain

Slab Judgment by Mysterarts 2012-12-21T00:45:00

Neat little game!
I like how you also cared about the small things such as the smoothed fire or the little animation for the people.

Infected by SeriousCreeper 2012-12-20T18:58:00

Usually I don't like Unity games beacause people don't put much effort into them, but I must say that THIS is absolutely amazing. The visual styles are unique and gameplay was fun and varying. A little issue I found was that the defender drones are easily tricked by going in circles around them, which could have been fixed by making them maintain a minimum distance from each other.

ECHO CHAMBER by Loren 2012-12-20T17:39:00

This is one of these WTF-Games, right? Got me into some sort of trance °_°

Super Evil Machine by Gareth Jenkins 2012-12-17T14:09:00

Dat music o___o
This game is awesome.
Simple concept, addicting as hell!

LD27 — 10 Seconds

TimeOut by chaosBrick 2013-08-28T19:53:00

@Starspell
This is because your computer / laptop doesn't support pixel shader profile 3.0. However, the map effect (using blood) is too complex for shader profile 2.0 (which your computer is capable of, obviously), so there are only low chances on fixing that... sorry.

TimeOut by chaosBrick 2013-08-30T17:46:00

@oajfh
Don't quite get that...

10 SECOND EXTREME ROCKET by xk 2013-08-29T15:11:00

The music loop was getting annoying quickly, but gameplay was good and fun in a very simple way :)

Button Clicker by Gugu42 2013-08-28T18:38:00

Kinda disappointing to not have a sound or press animation when clicking that button. It feels like you are not actually pressing anything.

Button Clicker by Gugu42 2013-08-28T20:22:00

Made an XBox to mouse input wrapper thing some time ago and used it with your game. I managed to get a mouse click event every frame (due to a bug in the wrapper) and figured the game runs at 60 FPS as the final score was exactly 600. lol

Rally Point by Kikkers 2013-08-28T18:49:00

Cool concept, but not seeing what you are doing with your rally points (when dragging them) is somewhat confusing. Also some sound during the simulation phase might have helped to know what's going on.

10 Seconds Quest by Nora Shishi 2013-08-28T18:32:00

Glitched it and got to level 9. Wut?

Faster Than before by martijn 2013-08-29T15:40:00

Cool concept, i like how the platformer feeling progressiveley turned into a racing to the right.

10 seconds to SNOOZE by Teruem 2013-08-28T18:58:00

Default Unity Explosion!!! (I don't know, it just looks like it). WAT.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Cyber Wolf Shaman by juaxix 2016-04-22T13:27:00

This is a really nice one. The graphics are damn good for 72 hours. sndr is right, its hard to aim, but the game itself is awesome. great work

Dead End by chaosBrick 2016-04-21T06:39:00

Well, the darkness is actually the point of this game :D
It would be nice to know, when exactly it crashed and what failure message you've got. We can maybe fix it then.

Dead End by chaosBrick 2016-04-21T07:31:00

You have to use your mouse wheel to adjust your flash light.

Dead End by chaosBrick 2016-04-22T08:32:00

if you have a complete black screen you maybe have problems with your DirectX. But we added a little feature to increase ambient lighting for people who see absolutely nothing. On every computer/screen combo we tested this on it worked perfectly.

Dead End by chaosBrick 2016-04-22T14:53:00

Did you try the Up/Down keys to increase ambient light?
Are you sure your system can run Pixelshader 3.0?

Dead End by chaosBrick 2016-04-23T13:45:00

@ragnta:
The error occurs dirctly after clicking the play button. before you even see graphics.

In-between by AnnaGavaldaKedavra 2016-04-22T13:20:00

WTF? how do i descibe this?
its just weird.
but the graphics are nice^^

Colour Shift by voxel 2016-04-21T07:20:00

Really nice gameplay. I really liked the graphics and sound of this game. Simple but awesome. Like you mentioned the weapons are a little bit unbalanced, but its still rlly fun to play

BattlefieLD35 by ViKing Games 2016-04-21T07:13:00

The concept itself is very simple. The controls are smooth, but the sound is a little bit too aggressive.
Really nice intro, btw xD

Rectangle run by IcyLava 2016-04-21T06:17:00

Damn, is that awesome!
I really like the music of that game.
Its overall really simple graphics, but they just fit.

Really nice work!

The Castle by NaKolenke 2016-04-21T06:52:00

A really nice game. Maybe you could've done a little more with sounds. That would've done a lot to the dark sinister ambient.
The funny thing: When you run down one of the stairs before the eye-key-thing you can get on the top of the castle by just jumping.

Trial 21 by mooncalf 2016-04-21T06:25:00

The idea of it is really nice. I don't really like the controls, but except of that you did a great job.

Polymorph by dsmeathers 2016-04-22T12:59:00

I really liked the animation of your polymorph :D The dark and sinister athmosphere wasnt bad either. It would be awesome if you did some more levels for this!

Animorph by CalmKai 2016-04-22T13:14:00

The idea itself is kind of funny, but the controls gave me a really hard time. Maybe also a few sounds would have helped.

Catshift by ragnta 2016-04-22T13:01:00

Get the following error code:
<Error><Code>NoSuchKey</Code><Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message></Error>

Cadori by paragonpawns 2016-04-22T13:36:00

This game is awesome! I really really like the music and the graphics. Also the destructible walls are a really nice special effect. Great job!

Dungeon Tricker by greeboCherry 2016-04-22T14:01:00

A nice little game, but I think its a little bit off-topic. However, the graphics are really nice, the sounds arent bad either. I like the voice of your boss.

ShapeShepherd by liva 2016-04-22T15:04:00

The idea of it is pretty cool, but a few more levels would be nice.

GOLD+SLIME by bibdectrl 2016-04-22T13:44:00

Nice game. Only thing: once you died and restarted your game you cant finish any more levels. theres no gold left, but you still dont finish when you go on your square. Somethimes some of those slimes camp in front of your gold for a very long time! those damn green creatures are so damn evil ;D

Escape from the pit! by Been 2016-04-22T14:19:00

Nice little game. Solid physics, simple but nice graphics. nice gameplay. and real fun to play :D

Watery by aeveis 2016-04-22T14:36:00

a pretty nice game. the logic of how you calculate the shape is a little weird which makes it difficult sometimes, but still its a nice game :D

Twilight Fortress by picjavier 2016-04-22T12:42:00

Well, I really liked the idea of this. The graphics do their job. But sadly it fells like I spent more time getting stuck in some of those moving blocks than actually playing. If you fixed this it would be great. Maybe you also could add some new Levels^^

Hack n slash by lilKriT 2016-04-21T07:01:00

A very awesome entry. The gameplay is really fun. I'd really like to see some future level-updates. Maybe you could add some more sound while adding new levels. Btw, I really liked you brick "blood" xD

Way of the Drunken Samurai by zombiecat 2016-04-21T06:08:00

I liked the idea pretty much. The Graphics are simple but nice and its almost as funny as weird^^

Dark Dungeons by Pineapple 2016-04-21T06:35:00

Well, the idea itself is great. But some kind of feedback while walking (maybe step sounds or something like that) would've been nice. And then at some point I started sliding around and couldn't stand still anymore. Maybe also some sounds for hitting a wall or getting close to enemies would improve the gameplay a lot. But it's still a nice concept.

Shapinoid by williamtosh 2016-04-22T12:46:00

For a work of six hours this is absolutely okay. Simple but still good. I wish you could move the pad a little quicker.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Aeternum by Nyri0 2019-05-03T22:56:11Z

I'm finding it unfortunate that this is the third title in a row on this platform that I couldn't play because my machine is an actual 32-Bit Machine. It's frustrating to download the thing only to be informed that it just won't even try to launch, though I suppose that's not exactly your fault... Sorry, I just need to let off some steam here...

Shapeless by ludwici 2019-05-01T17:37:26Z

I'm not quite sure how to properly play this game. I got my best score of ~200 by simply sitting at the spawn and shooting all of the targets near the end of the game, which seemed like it wasn't how you're meant to play the game. The music sounds good though (I find it hard to believe you could create that much variety in just 48 hours) and the looks are matching and good, too. The whole thing seems like a good way to wind down after a stressful day, although it'd help if the music didn't stop so abruptly after the end of a round.

Boredom Be Gone by InsanityCode 2019-04-30T14:27:26Z

Ok, we found out what the issue is and are currently fixing it. Thank you so much for reporting that one. The systems we tested this on just all randomly supported this function...

Boredom Be Gone by InsanityCode 2019-04-30T14:58:43Z

As I said, we are working on that right now.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep it Alive - the Rectangle that is by gonutz 2020-04-27T11:36:02Z

Cool concept, I think it has a lot of potential. Everything that's needed is there and easily accessible, so retrying felt encouraging rather than annoying, which can't be said about all compo entries. The visual style is very simple but works well, so kudos to that. I only found the music to be quite annoying, I think it would've been better without the music entirely.

Keep It Ticking! by auxC 2020-04-29T14:48:59Z

Cool idea, and it has a nice polished feel to it thanks to good graphics and audio. However, the "desyncing" seems to be a bit of a problem still, and it made it hard to plan your next move when previous runs would sometimes "randomly" not work. I think it would make sense to not actually let your clones interact with the world and just record their positions and interactions instead.

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-22T16:32:00Z

This is so good! I love the way this game controls, even (or rather because) it is very hard to master, but it doesn't feel unfair. I made a lot of mistakes and didn't manage to beat it (yet), failed the final jump twice... But (almost) everytime I did, I knew it was because I did something wrong. The graphics and audio are beautiful, but Sir Screamsalot needs to shut the hell up!

Last Beer by Nilodree 2020-04-24T19:41:28Z

This is frustrating, because it always ends in losing your beer... That's all the more reason to run for it! Awesome game!

Polygons of Light by Poulpint 2020-04-22T13:01:05Z

Cool concept, and some nicely designed puzzles in there as well! Unfortunately there still seem to be some technical issues, as one of the levels and the end screen were fairly laggy and another had faulty shadows for me on the web player, which I had to use because the windows build would not give me a 16:9 window when playing on my 4:3 screen. (Yes, those still exist.)

BrewMancy by Louis Hilaire 2020-04-22T13:27:12Z

Nice teapot.

Giant Blobs From Mars by Almighty Games 2020-04-27T12:17:10Z

Okay, that was a weird experience. First I found things going too slow (in the first "tutorial" levels), then I skipped to level 8, thought that things were going to die on me fast, until later in that same run I felt like just had to drag my mouse cursor everywhere. Ended up with a score of 19,816 and I'm not sure if that's good or bad at all, lol. Overall pretty fun though.

The graphics look nice and polished, but became more and more laggy with each blob (Are you sure you're using instancing correctly? I don't even know if that's possible in unity lul) Audio is pretty good, and the music is fine I guess, just not my cup of tea... So thanks for including a seperate music slider! Good stuff!

Keep the Flame Alive by InsanityCode 2020-04-22T16:37:46Z

@mneubrand Actually, you're not wrong about the difficulty of the game. I had a tough time arranging a track that would both sound cool and be managable to play, so I kinda butchered the difficulty - even I can't play the drum and keyboard parts above easy and medium respectively. I plan on fixing this up as a post mortem though, since we now have the engine all done and I can focus a lot more on actually making something playable.

Bloodline by Geonaut 2020-04-22T23:40:23Z

Good stuff! This game could've easily be an endlessly going thing where you'd aim for a highscore, and I really like that you chose to go for levels instead. The story gave the whole thing purpose, and despite the simple visuals it had a really nice mood. A simple concept that was polished really well.

Tumbleweed by Brenan 2020-04-21T02:59:48Z

This amount of world creation in 72 hours is crazy. I don’t know how much Unreal engine does for you, but the atmosphere is incredible regardless. I’m not so happy with the fact that my machine apperantly can’t quite handle this though, as I’ve experienced some significant frame drops in the beginning section (running on a Radeon RX 560, if that matters).

Beyond that, the white on white cursor in the beginning of the game left me pretty disoriented (I took a minute to find that I HAD a cursor), and “No need for keyboard!” is a funny lie when the first thing the game tells you to do is to “Press Space” to begin the journey.

All that said, the overall quality of the game left me craving for more. The controls were smooth (or, as smooth as the lag I experienced would allow), the graphics were absolutely stunning, and I truly felt like I was going to be on a long journey that (understandably) ended way too early. Thank you for this experience!

PS: Master of the internet as I am, I posted this on your feed post first because the website wasn't working properly and I was disoriented (again).

Vestige by BitPokit 2020-04-27T13:09:15Z

Those visuals are awesome. You made those simple shapes feel very alive with the various graphical effects such as the camera shaking and the destruction particles. The music was very fitting for the abstract atmosphere of the game, as was the writing. The controls were feeling nice, although sometimes I would've liked to have a bit more time to prepare for an attack. Some of those spinners came out of nowhere! In the end, I died as I finished the game, which caused a small bug in the end cutscene, but that's really something I can excuse in the context of a game jam :) Good work!

Keep the cube alive by Dante2001 2020-04-22T13:11:53Z

Despite its simplicity this is a very fun game you made there! I liked the music and the sound effects, although the latter could be toned down a little bit in my opinion. Also, it would've helped a lot if you could shoot balls more precisely in front of you to keep immediate threats away better. That way the game would be a little less chaotic and feel a bit more fair and controllable I think.

DEATH by Rainbows are Fun 2020-04-24T19:23:08Z

This is so simple and yet so intruiging. I appreciate the look and feel of this game despite its simplicity, although I couldn't get any of my victims to stay alive for long.

Good Shapes, Bad Shapes by ishmandoo 2020-04-21T03:18:26Z

I like the concept a lot, and I feel like most of the game is implemented really well, too. Overall though I think the concept of those shadows flows better with a slower paced game - It'd add to the mystery of the game if looking harder (or changing your viewing angle to the screen) didn't let you see everything clearly, and I made me just feel stupid for running into obstacles at the speeds that this game seems to be going at. Turning everything black that is in shadow and making everything slower would've been cooler I think.

Roadkill by JeanBis 2020-04-29T14:19:47Z

Cool game, very fun. I'm not so sure about the premise of this game... Why are cop cars chasing ME when there's literal demons roaming around freely? Are they possessed or something Audio and visuals were great, only thing that annoyed me was the music restarting every time a level was loaded. It's annoying to repeatedly hear the first 20 seconds of 5 minute long tracks, so fix that and you're golden!

LD49 — Unstable

Fractured Edge by Samuli 2021-10-06T14:04:13Z

Unfortunately the emulator window wouldn't open for me even in the supposedly fixed build, so I had to play with the debug view, which massively compromises the experience. For that reason, I have judged the game's graphics and feel from your little video on an actual oscilloscope - it looks fantastic, really. The music and audio also really feel in line with the gameplay. Excellent work on making a unique concept work out so well! (I just wish I could've played proper...)

Pistolman by lekaleksay 2021-10-06T15:51:06Z

Funny characters and good execution is what I'd say. It's so absurd but really well done. I think making a different game with these guys could be really cool, as the gameplay wasn't really challenging or intruiging to me at all, though.

Platform Fall by chaosbrick 2021-10-06T00:47:33Z

@ccglp Lol, classic WinAPI throwing an error on success. I haven't seen it in this function before though. A quick research session suggests that some software on your system might be messing with the permissions of the game to acces raw input, as discussed in [this post](https://forums.codeguru.com/showthread.php?498374-RESOLVED-RegisterRawInputDevices-fails-with-no-error).

You may be able to get the game running by running as administrator / changing permissions in your anti-virus software etc. We'll have to see if we can find some sort of fallback method to handle input if raw input isn't allowed I guess, but as of now we have no other method implemented, so you may be out of luck here unfortunately.

Platform Fall by chaosbrick 2021-10-06T12:57:09Z

@kekkodude Oh, oops. I had that fixed within 3 hours after the compo deadline, but apperantly I messed up editing the release on github and the two versions lived next to each other. I suppose you just got the wrong one (the one that said 1.0 at the end). I have fixed this now. I agree with the self destruction when shooting in the same direction as your moving being a bit of a problem, it's just one of the few parts I didn't have the time to polish properly.

Platform Fall by chaosbrick 2021-10-07T20:06:21Z

@bootak I don't know how you have come to this conclusion about the last platform behaving differently from any other platform, but I can say for sure that this isn't the case. A platform doesn't keep any track of how many platforms are left in the level (i.e. it doesn't know it'd be "the last one"), and the code that handles platform destruction is entirely separate from the code that handles level advancement. (It counts how many platforms are left. If zero, advance.) Yes, you have to jump or step off a platform for it to be destroyed, but this is the case for ALL platforms. Maybe you've experienced (admittedly existing) issues with when the game detects you as having left a platform in some places, for instance in the level shown in the screenshot? The corners can be a bit janky there.

I'm happy to hear you had fun though.

Platform Fall by chaosbrick 2021-10-10T00:50:19Z

@c64cosmin If I recall correctly, there was some license nonsense happening with the OpenAL library at the time of creation for that part of the engine - The installer had some weird text in it that seems to have since been changed. On top of that, packing the OpenAL32.dll with the game didn't work entirely reliably either for some people, and using the official installer would fix that. Either way, there was good reason not to pack that specific library with the engine. I'll make sure to take another look at it, though, as I understand that it's annoying when a game doesn't really run "out of the box". On that notice, thanks for playing anyways!

CandleLight by PaulLyaudet 2021-10-14T16:15:33Z

This is how it's done. The whole thing is so well rounded that by the end of it, I honestly forgot that it was a Ludum Dare entry and was expecting to go for another few hours on an intruiging and atmospheric puzzle platformer journey. I'd ___really___ like to see more of this.

Unstabadome by Dj Depressive 2021-10-07T14:10:12Z

This looks like a cool concept that could turn into a really fun game with more polishing. The sound design is very satisfying, aside from the really annoying jump sound imo. My main issues (aside from the game not running as smoothly as I think it should on my machine) are: - The movement / physics being very janky and limiting my options to jump (or even walk, sometimes) on platforms. A lot of the supposed effects did not really work as expected for me. Zero-Gravity, for instance, didn't seem to do a thing (maybe I didn't understand how to control it?). - The changes in mechanics are happening without any time to prepare. "The floor is now lava!" - Dead. You could announce the change(s) that is/are going to happen ahead of time with a countdown perhaps, giving the player time to prepare.

If the green capsules are a means to heal back up, I didn't have the chance to find out. I've never managed to reach one in the short time I was playing.

Unstable Concoction by zantze 2021-10-06T01:22:43Z

This was a fun experience, and it looks and sounds really well polished for a compo game! (Aside from the music cutting a little when it transitions. I believe that's kind of a Unity thing though, to an extent.) I agree that it is very satisfying to see a large number of things thrown into the pot. One thing that kind of bugged me was that the word itself was really far away from the pot in the middle way down in the bottom left corner, since I was playing in full screen, so I didn't really get to pay much attention to the beautiful animations in the center of the screen. Also, I find it a little bit weird that there is essentially no punishment for mistyping a word. I'd maybe have expected that it discards the ingredient and you'd have to type a new one without resetting the timer or something. Maybe just for hard mode, too. I got a score of 11060 in that, and I typed so many things wrong, lol.

Herman's Fallacy by LarrySeinfeld 2021-10-06T13:30:29Z

This had me thinking "What is WRONG with you?" the entire way through. In a good way.

Topplecrown by caeonosphere 2021-10-14T17:46:27Z

This brainteaser was a nice change of pace from the other games I've played this LD so far. The execution is very clean with a simple but effective look, and the AI is surprisingly good, considering that I'd not even dare to _attempt_ making an AI like this in a Ludum Dare setting (compo, no less!). About the audio samples - Since you didn't make them, I think you sould have at least opted out of that category. It simply doesn't sit well with me to rate something that you didn't make in compo entry, hence why I didn't.

Orbitris by BOOtak 2021-10-07T15:59:40Z

This was really weird but surprisingly fun to play. Tucking pieces into gaps is stupendously difficult, so my usual strategies for playing tetris didn't really work that well, but I kept trying. Certainly a very unique entry.

Me And My Unicycle by Nikl 2021-10-06T14:16:17Z

I really liked the feel of the controls in this. Once I got a grasp on it, getting to the end of each level was almost trivial. I think this is a solid foundation for more levels and mechanics to explore, as the experience was really short for me.

Missed Spelling by Gryhyphen 2021-10-14T18:34:42Z

I feel like I'm tripping. This is a very strange concept implemented in a very strange way. Even the method to choose letters from a pool is strange? Hello? I'm certain that's exactly what you were going for, so good job on that! I especially liked how the characters came in different fonts with absolutely no order to them, and the game got me laughing quite a few times about how I was "spelling" certain words on accident. Unfortunately the game crashed for me in the tutorial as well as at what I presume is the end of the sentence, so I kinda had to do some guesswork on how the game actually works, but given how weird everything is in this entry anyways, that didn't even detract from the experience.

Timofei Cauldron by gdman 2021-10-06T01:02:15Z

My stack isn't as neat as Fersyvanderzee's, but I got them all over there as well. Just kinda lauched them all over there. I guess that wouldn't work for a longer level though, haha. I think I would've really liked playing a fully developed game with multiple levels and some more mechanics and stuff, maybe with some scoring system based on how many pizzas you manage to deliver? Oh, and I do think the physics would need to become a bit more stable than they currently are, but for a quick demo it's just good enough I guess. Quack

Fragments of Memory by SunnyRx 2021-10-06T14:44:33Z

This is a very pretty game and does a great job setting the mood both with excellent visuals and the unique style of gameplay. The only thing that kind of ruins it is the music restarting for every attempt / level.

Woops I Forgot My Ladder by Giulychu 2021-10-07T14:45:04Z

This was very fun to mess around with, although I didn't really end up building anything properly productive. I'd say the reason for this are the two bugs @reccy and @tombustonhave mentioned. The latter trivializes the game, since you can literally use a trash bag to fly around and pick people up. I think if you get this worked out it'll be a very fun game that challenges the player's patience more than I thought it would, but in a good way. (My patience was pratically at zero once I learned how to fly :P )

Very cool stuff. I am especially fond of the audio quality and its mixing with the music. The gameplay also has more depth to it than I anticipated, paying attention to all the particles while crossing fingers on the keyboard is more demanding than I thought it'd be.

The Leaning Tower Of Pizza by erikengineengineer 2021-10-06T01:43:05Z

I found the gameplay itself to not be the most thrilling thing in the world, but I'll be damned if it's not worth the pay-off when the tower falls. The slow motion, blur, and camera change at just the right time are just so very effective.

CONTROLL by kartiz0l 2021-10-07T15:34:22Z

This is an overall well built and polished package, from the primitive but well executed graphics over the 8 bit sound to the super accessible yet surprisingly deep gameplay. I'd like to see more levels for this game. The only things that somewhat bugged me were the inability to plan ahead at all (Seeing what the next move will be would help greatly with that, I think.) and the complete lack of horizontal mobility with the jump module. I got stuck in mid-air under spikes for 4 jumps in a row more often than I'd like to believe is probable. Maybe a more "balanced" RNG could help as well, i.e. decrease the chance of a module popping up the more often in a row it has already appeared. Switching between dashing towards the mouse and shooting a projectile in the opposite direction on the fly to keep moving up was really fun and satisfying, though.

Throws you right in, doesn't it :grinning: I've died like three separate times just because you start without even the input of a button, nor an explanation of what to do. But that's okay, because everything is intuitive enough to figure it out in a few minutes. Great job on that!

Souls Keeper by basic_eagles 2025-10-07T00:12:08Z

> Sorry but i have bad mouse control so can’t correctly play.

I know how hard this is to work around, but damn well is it worth it. Unfortunately this made me quit at an instant, because this particular "implementation" of mouse controls is so abysmal that it renders anything unusable in my eyes. (My multi-screen setup certainly didn't help the case.)
