Awesome entry, uheartbeast! Feeding the monster to see how it'll change and agonizing over how many battles to take on before escaping is good fun. Mouse controls for dungeon crawling actually works pretty well, too. It's nice to just aim and go rather than click around!
This one is a bit too challenging for me. I couldn't make it to the onion ring! Haha, great job!

I like the creepy feel the game has! As for gameplay, it was a bit confusing... I restarted a few times, but no matter what I did, I would always instantly die whenever I'd stop for even a split second, I never even saw what was attacking me...

On my first try, I somehow ended up having the steak I was holding start spinning out of control, knocked over the table, and a pile of steaks started rapidly spawning onto the ground, haha!! This is pretty fun, although the controls are a bit hard to handle.
Good catch, @casper! We actually had a delay implemented during the jam, but we didn't have the feedback necessary to make it feel deliberate, so we cut it. Diminishing returns for spamming would've made for a solid solution, though!
Much appreciated, @trabitboy. We're glad you like the look of it! The shader effect is definitely spectacle over practicality. It was intended to make the game harder, but we agree that its present state is a little too strong!
