The controls are a little strange. Very funny though haha.

Well done
Love it!
Really cool! I'd love to see you take this further.
Good start! I wish there were more.
Unfortunately it is only on windows.
You can hold the teleport button down after going through a door in order to aim at the goblins. The game is very difficult.
You can teleport through anything that has an open path. (That is why you can go through corners)
Yeah, the game is easier when you find out that you can hold down the left mouse button to avoid enemy attacks but I think most people don't learn that mechanic. Thanks for the feedback.
Wow! 50 is insane! Well done.
Yeah, I need to come up with a good way of teaching that mechanic to the player. It is a very important part of the game. I'm seriously considering developing it further.
Great game Shaun. This has been one of my favorites in the compo.
Good concept but it might work better in a turn-based environment.
Really great game actually. It is very hard but still fun.
Loved the happy ending. Graphics were a little odd but overall the game was great. Best one I have played so far.
Interesting concept. It seems the trick to beating the game is to click with the left and right mouse buttons at the same time as fast as you can. Adding a cooldown or limiting the shots with ammo could make the game more challenging.
This is a compo entry! Simply perfect! I could see this one winning.
The music was AMAZING!
Well done! I could only figure out 2 of the endings. The art and mood were great!
Very well done.
Great job! The music was good the graphics were awesome. The fighting was a little bit awkward but I was able to get used to it. Love the random generation and items. All in all very well done.
Wish there were checkpoints. Maybe I missed that? Good mood, audio, and graphics though.
Great graphics. The game was a bit easy and I think I would have enjoyed fighting some harder enemies. Regardless, you have done a great job with this.
Loved it!
This game has potential. It feels like an RTS which is a good thing. Polish it up and throw it on mobile.
Top scores for innovation, theme, and humor. This is one of my favorite games so far. Great job.
Perfect.
Well done on the theme and the mood. Great game. One of the best I have played.
Excellent game!
Dark. Follows the theme for sure.
Actually quite fun. The collisions felt a bit strange but the upgrades made the game interesting.
Pretty fun actually. I think this has potential.
I really like this game. Just a little polish and you have a big winner here!
Thank you everyone for you positive comments and great feedback!
hexagore, ooops forgot to uncheck that box on Game Jolt. Fixed now.
You should have been able to avoid any ads on itch, though.
Thanks for the feedback I'm glad you enjoyed it.
:)
There should be invincibility frames on rolls. The secret to the the big guys it to just stay under him ;) Thanks for playing.
Miltage, You can press "R" to restart :) Thanks for the comment.
I got the happy ending as well! Loved the game. Short but sweet. Great job Shaun.
Really cool game. Love the bounce of the bodies XD. Fighting could have been better but I know what it is like on such a short time frame. Well done man!
This was very well done. The mechanics were simple but solid and so even though there wasn't a tone in the game it was fun and satisfying. My only issue would have to be the music feels a bit repetitive but I understand that cause my game has music (if you can call it that) that I wrote in like 20 minutes haha. Once again. This has been one of my favorites! I hope you get at least top 20.
If you feel like playing a LD entry by a fellow GameMaker user check out my game "Grave".
-Ben
Loved this one. The sounds were a bit loud though haha. Overall this is one of the best ones I've played so far. Great job!
Really funny and interesting gameplay.
Love the mood and graphics in this one.
Followed the theme well. Great mood and story. :D
This game is super funny. Great job.
Cute game! Fit the theme well.
It's a game about me XD
Loved this game. Pretty cool. It fit the theme well. It was funny. It had a good mood pretty good gameplay. Overall nice job.
Pretty innovative and fit the theme well. Good luck!
I loved it. My only issue was that one time the npc's got stuck and I couldn't scare them anymore. Other than that this game is really great.
Great job with the graphics and mood.
Cool puzzles and good ideas. Platforming physics were a little strange but other than that it was cool.
Hahaha Great job Caleb. I loved the boss! Super funny.
Well done.
Very funny :D
Loved the style.
What. That ending man...
Thanks guys!
- Gun3rboi, make sure you pay attention during the tutorial it explains that mechanic. It isn't a bug.
- GagaPete, info should be stored across sessions. I'll have to check that out. There may be an issue in the HTML5 version.
-dvdfu, Gold cards add to both attack and defense. They can really help to get a bigger score and if possible you should always give them to your creature. Great score though!
Elenesski, Yeah, the tutorial took quite a bit of time to do and I didn't have to to explain every card. I was hoping that the player could use some experimentation in that regard. :) Thanks for playing.
Hey chunkybrewster! Those are really good ideas! I'll have to do a post compo version.
Hey SeriousCreeper! That is great feedback! If that is the part of the game that makes people feel the coolest I should give score bonuses when you *combo* cards. :D
Anarbitrarymustache: Yeah, I'm still not sure the best way to explain that. It sort of loops around the enemy's defense.
oxonwater,
Hahaha interesting. I'm working on a post compo version I'll have to fix that.
Very well done. I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The UI could use some cleanup but I understand the time limitation and that you probably didn't have time for that. Very much worth a play. I'd love to see this for android.
Really cool idea!
It is cool how you discover more about the game the more powerups you get. Well done. Sounds were great, visuals were simple but nice. It's a great arcade-feel game.
Excellent!
Glad you enjoyed it. I'll have to check out your entry :)
Thanks guys :) Yeah, I started sounds but I ran out of time :/
Virgate: I tried to make the experience short enough that people could play around with the different vegetables to find the combinations :)
Yeah, :) I ran out of time. I even have a few audio files included in the source but just didn't have time to add them.
Hey Captain Pilot, you can actually hold down the mouse button for movement.
Loved it. Simple but fun. My favorite part was the dialog at the end. I'm pretty sure almost everyone playing your game will relate very well with that. :D
It was also very fun to be a frog.
Well done.
This is very clever. I loved it.
Well done! Congrats on finishing you first game. And for a Ludum Dare no doubt.
Lovely entry! Well done.
Easy controls, good gameplay, and funny dialog. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I really wish I had had a bit more time to polish and actually have a win condition but I'm glad you enjoyed the little bit I was able to put up.
