Really fun idea. Solid gameplay. And a very, very bad idea in real life.

Really fun idea. Solid gameplay. And a very, very bad idea in real life.
Wow! So cool! The visuals and animation in particular were very impressive- the way the girl would nervously look behind her as the dinosaur shrunk- and the gameplay was very solid and with a novel idea that tied directly into its narrative powering it to boot!
I've never played a game as a ninja with a teddy.
This game was quite enjoyable, and well thought out.
The visuals and audio were quite fun, and of course the concept was wonderful.
I'm sure your father would be very proud.
Fun concept, and beautiful presentation. Really breathtaking visuals and a really great 'vibe' that is both fantastic and nostalgic.
Wonderful work and a great send-up of, well, apart from the obvious, the industry as a whole.
Loved it.
Haha, what a fun time!
Loved it. Great theme and vibe.
Really fun idea. Solid platforming and visuals. Would have liked to see the audio take a more active role, though (perhaps interacting with music or something?). But obviously for 48 hours, this is very impressive already.
Haha, really fun, novel mechanic.
THAT POOR GUY!
Loved it. Really a lot of fun, and a very funny concept.
Only one minor thing I wished was that the audio was a little more fleshed out.
But that definitely did not detract from the enjoyment, and it was really great. The art! So good!
Awesome job! :) Love the visuals and the quality of randomized design.
Very cute.
A lot of fun to be had with all the unique text.
Loved it.
Fuzzy has instructed that I fear him.
I do not.
I do, however, think this was a fun, cute game. GREAT UI, fun, loveable visuals and audio, and just a great vibe in general.
The platforming was functional but occasionally frustrating, but that hardly kept me from enjoying its fun concept and feel.
Really cool!
Your 'terrible programmer art' was just fine.
But more importantly, the core mechanic was very well executed! LOVED being able to see where I was going before I went- but also loved that you allowed twitch control as an option too!
Just... great job.
While this obviously didn't go as far as you wanted to, I think you had a great concept, and would have liked to see it in its full form.
It was a very ambitious idea.
Keep working at it and I'm sure you'll get it next time!
What's here is great.
Wow, what a fun little collection! Loved details like the wind affecting the direction the money flew. Great presentation as a whole.
Fun concept. I was able to do some amazing things with my telekinetic meat that I PROBABLY wasnt supposed to be capable of, but overall I had fun with it, and the visuals and audio were very entertaining.
Very solid! Felt balanced. Well done.
I loved the idea, and the visuals and audio were great!
I did find the gameplay quite difficult to understand.
Fun concept, and though I see you had issues in above comment, I had no issues on Win 7 64.
For 15 minutes, I love your little story.
VERY cool! What a neat mechanic! I really hope you continue to expand it- it's the kind of idea that can carry a game.
Wish the presentation wasnt QUITE as minimalist, but the text on the walls was a nice touch, and overall the mechanic and smart design more than made up for it.
A very interesting and though provoking piece. Thank you very much.
A great time! The controls can have some strangeness, but overall I had a really great time.
SO GOOD!
Loved the teleportation mechanic.
Great visuals and vibe.
Really just a great time!
I really appreciated your game's vibe, and you had a clear vision. Love the dramatic camera angle you play the game from.
Super fun and BEAUTIFUL
Somber and interesting.
A little frustrating sometimes to actually navigate, but thematically powerful.
Really great take on the genre! I loved the way you interspersed action elements in, instead of just having dialogue trees. Great job! Good music and art too.
Narrative!
In a gameplay driven experience!
THANK YOU!
Loved it.
Cool concept! Nice sound and visuals. Wish the gameplay was explained a bit further in the game itself, but overall still a great piece.
Really just a great time. Now I can live out my wildest dreams of being spontaneous and violent, but without the horror that reality brings!
Basically, exactly what I want out of a game.
Cool idea. Like the use of the grid based mobility system. Nice visuals.
Neat concept, with a nice vibe. Balance seems a little funky but obviously this was quite ambitious to begin with. Definitely had fun with it, great job!
I liked this a lot! As above poster said, it's weird, but it's charming. You should feel great about what you made!
Well, that definitely qualifies as an unconventional weapon.
Fun and responsive.
Really fun! Loved the visuals and the music, and the images and words drawn on the notebook were hilarious.
Gameplay was fun, and I liked that you left the option open to change the level design around by going to the narrow upper level.
Cool idea. Controls were a bit finnicky, but overall worked, and it had a nice look to it.
Oh, wow.
I gotta say, this is the most harrowing, unnerving thing I've played in a while.
Genuinely intense, and terrifying. Well done. Visuals and sound were both top notch, and the writing was just sparse enough to increase the tension.
Full marks. Visually stunning. Great audio. And precise platforming. One of the most impressive I've played.
I laughed, I cried, I looked at cats differently.
Overall just really solid design coupled with a fun idea.
Great job!
Very ambitious, and a couple of truly genius puzzles in there. Overall very solid. The very occasional platforming difficulty, but never enough to detract from the experience.
Fascinating and thought provoking.
Walter was a very interesting personality.
Thank you!
Your first game ever? Are you kidding me?
Absolutely fantastic, ESPECIALLY for a first go!
Great visuals, sound, fun mechanic (love that you aren't stationary). Great job!!
Well, I got in the llama.
...I'm not sure I ever want to get out.
Well, you don't see that every day.
I snickered like a fourteen year old. What have you done to me?
Great game! Loved the visuals.

There are two endings. I've updated the description so as not to mislead anyone. :)
Wow, ok, fixing right now. I'll update ASAP.
Fixed 'Central Display' glitch, and a couple typos.
Thanks for the feedback, everyone! This is great!!
Zimmy, it was built in Adventure Game Studio.
Update: Walk speed increased.
Fun ideas, and fairly precise platforming. Some punishing jumps, but for the most part a fun ride. Great visuals.
Haha, really fun idea and solid gameplay. Why is the music off by default? It's great! Anyway, great work.
Wow, really liked this! Clever puzzle mechanics and a beautiful aesthetic! Well done!
Well, I'm in the 'its interactive art, so it's a game' camp, but regardless of what side of the argument someone falls on, I don't think anyone would say this isn't beautiful work.
Wonderful visuals and your writing was really nice.
Well done.
I liked this a lot! For one, that visual look is really cool, but for two, your core concept is really neat! The villagers ran around in interesting ways depending on what was going on.
I did accidentally bug the game out, I think, where I kind of killed everyone but the level didn't end. But overall I had a great time with this!
Had a great time with this one! Hope the requiring 2 controllers doesn't dissuade people from checking out.
Really unique, LOVED the presentation. Beautiful visuals.
Neat core mechanic, and excellent mood. Really liked the music as well. Liked piecing the story together. Awesome job.
Neat idea, and I would love to see it expanded on.
Too bad you couldn't finish it, but life happens, and I think you did your best considering.
The visual style is nice!
Woah! Really solid platforming and I loved how you took the real-life animal abilities for inspiration as platforming mechanics.
Also had cool visuals and music. I would turn down the sound effects just a bit so we can hear more of that great music!
Wow! Not only was this really polished, but this game has great vibe. Really relaxing visually and aurally, which is refreshing. Your core mechanic of having the new 'gems' come in as you play like that was really novel.
My only minor complaint would be that I wished the sound effects were turned down just a bit so I could kind of chill out and enjoy the relaxing music more? But awesome job, really!
Very neat game! I didn't know what I was getting into and initially thought it was just a matching game (didn't read your description above), but you really surprised me in the end. Really well done.
Presentation was also really appealing.
I really liked this!
I especially liked that you gave your game a little story. It was fun and didn't get in the way of the gameplay at all.
I also liked some of the small details, like the people having a parachute when they fell.
I wished the people moved a bit faster. Other than that, had a really great time.
So! It's clear that you didn't get to take this where you wanted to, BUT,
-The core ideas here are SUPER ambitious... and I applaud that! Good for you! This is a really cool idea and I hope you continue to pursue it!
-Really very nice visuals for an unfinished game.
-I liked having a special move that makes me 'blink' across the screen.
-The core sense of exploration you were working with is really satisfying! I wanted to see more of the world, and I liked that when I killed a monster they stayed dead, giving it a sense of permanence.
Good job! I hope it was a good experience.
I think this could be something really cool!
I don't see many level creators out there for Ludum Dare games, so this is a really neat concept!
Would love to see you come back with something like this next Ludum Dare and make an even better version!
Hey, another AGS game!
Really cool stuff man. Your art... well, I don't know how you did it in such a short time span. Really amazing.
Your animations were also wonderful, especially the transformation animations.
Congrats!
Enjoyed it. The platforming mechanics were unique and felt good once I got used to them.
Found myself wishing for a bit more audio feedback.
Really great job overall!
I partied super hard, showboated and tripped on my cape and lost.
Had a lot of fun with this, and it's always nice to see another game that goes story heavy.
Your sense of humor is wonderful.
Really neat game! Fun core mechanic, and BEAUTIFUL visuals!
It's too bad you couldn't get sound in, but this is INSANELY impressive for a compo entry and I think you made the right choice in focusing on the visuals and mechanics.
Really atmospheric and uncomfortable... in a good way. :)
Neat concept for gameplay that lead to some really tense moments. Also, wonderful visuals.
Awwwww! I loved this!
-Happy to see another AGS game! Cute blue cup easter egg. :)
-Adorable little situation and moral.
-The writing was surprisingly dark in a way that felt appropriate. Also, I really wanted to play with the cat. ;)
Great job. I loved this.
WOW! This was the full package; fun, responsive, addictive gameplay, level design that encouraged taking risks, checkpoints that kept my interest, a funny premise with a fun story setup, and BEAUTIFUL visuals... GREAT job!
Fun little rhythm game. I appreciated that you got multiple difficulties in there, and your music worked really well for this type of game! Great job.
So here's the thing.
A. The visuals are really appealing and I think succeed as your intended tech demo of sorts.
B. You called your game Don't Race Me Or My Son Ever Again. I laughed out loud when I read it.
I mean that's worth something, to me, at least.I shouldn't have found that as unexpectedly funny as I did, but here we are.
Really neat core mechanic! Took me a bit to get used too, but once I did I had a great time. Cool visuals and vibe.
hAd FuN wITh THiS. NoT surE i CaN tYPE coRrEcTly eVer AGaIN.
Wow! Very atmospheric and scary.
Really nice visuals.
Got stuck after going to the basement.
Really enjoyed what I was able to play, though!
Well done.
Had a lot of fun with this! Really difficult but it definitely felt like any mistakes made were my own.
Beautiful visuals, and a tense scenario.
LOVED the mechanics, not only did you create levels that allowed for a variety of approaches but all the core platforming mechanics felt good.
The visuals were simple but appealing and I really liked how the music changed upon transformation.
Well done!
HUMOR ON POINT.
Had a lot of fun with this, it's a clever core mechanic.
On top of that, you kept me laughing through the whole thing.
Awesome job.
I know you've heard this, but the sounds really were great. :)
The core gameplay was fun too, though! I could easily see something like this being expanded into a full release. Great job!
Once I got a hang of the controls I had fun with it. Transforming is oddly satisfying. I like that your machine transforms by just exploding into other parts.
I wound up making a sort of meta game out of transforming and creating walls with the parts from my transformation.
It's clear that tons of work went into this. Honestly it seems like the task was pretty monumental.
I think if you had reigned your game in a bit conceptually, it could have been more polished, but what you accomplished is still very impressive, and you should all feel great about this.
Woah, this game has a really neat core mechanic.
I also really liked your voice over.
Really well designed puzzles.
Very funny. Started it and could never have predicted what I was going to see.
On top of the visual gag, of course, was a fun and functional matching game! Had a great time with it.
Great job. I think you could have made the building a bit smaller (I got lost a few times) but you clearly have a great sense of what this space looks and feels like; great atmosphere.
I do think the text could fade in a bit faster, as mentioned by others.
Love text adventures and this was a good bit of fun to go through.
I'm in a similar boat where I only have a DK2, but I love your concept and would love to see it expanded. Thanks for providing video!
Yay! A game with an intro! Can I just say how much I appreciate that? Thank you for giving me a reason to care! Honestly!
I think the mechanic is really fun and lead to some fun situations. Great job!
Took me a little bit to figure out the core mechanic of changing my shot types, but once I understood it I had a great time! BEAUTIFUL visuals! I liked having the chicken flip the door switch. I had a couple small issues like getting stuck between blocks on occasion, but overall you did REALLY well!
Fun puzzle concept! Appealingly clean visual communication.
Getting a similar error as others on Windows 10 X64, sorry...
Tres bien! Magnifique!
Really fun core mechanic and your level design took great advantage of it.
It goes without saying, but the voice acting was wonderful.
Actually just in general, audio feedback was really satisfying.
Fun concept! Transforming for abilities was cool (and not something I've seen in other endless runners!), and there was something just so so cool about grinding UP A RAIL in an an endless runner. Fun stuff.
Really tense. I was definitely into figuring out what the world you created was all about.
Unfortunately the enemy encounter felt pretty trial and error, as I didn't feel it was possible to get away once the enemy morphed.
SPEAKING of the morphing, though, that animation was great. Your visuals and audio were top notch.
Well done!
Very neat core mechanic. Challenging!
Really kept me engaged, awesome job.
Fun, but still very hard, despite your '420 Update' ;).
Great visuals and audio.
Actually the only thing I wanted was for you to take your fun sense of humor and apply it to the game itself more.
Anyway, really enjoyed this.
Fun idea, well executed.
Controls could be tightened a bit but overall it definitely worked. Loved the visuals, preyed heavily on my nostalgia. Great job.
Certainly unique! I had fun with it, even if it took a couple restarts to understand what my character and 'word' was affecting. Fun concept that would be cool to expand on!
LOVE this concept. Especially liked that the NPCs tried to hide before changing forms.
Beautiful presentation. Visuals were great and audio fit the mood.
Awesome job.
Wow! Great game! Really fun and addicting... the levels randomized themselves in ways that always felt fair, but different enough to feel unique!
Really cool take on the bullet hell genre!
I loved what the shape shifting brought to the table.
I do kind of wish the ship moved a bit faster so I felt a little more in control. But really neat stuff. Also great visuals.
-Stark visual style
-Effective visual moments (liked the image of trying to run after the car but not being able to catch up)
-Wish that the ending had given me more to go on. A website that offers support, or some more information on the topic at hand? I wanted to know MORE about what was being discussed, but had no way to research the topic after your game (successfully) held my interest.
(I should mention that I LIKED the stark visual style. My comment didn't make that clear)
Felt really good to play. I also liked the visuals; a little grass goes a long way. :)
Great job!
Having trouble running, I get a message that says: There should be 'Fat Ninjaboy_Data'folder next to the executable.
Sorry. :( Windows 10 64 bit.
I have a DK2, but was unable to get this to boot in the headset itself, just in a window on my monitor. Sorry. :/
Really nice visuals. Core gameplay was responsive. Really tense, and a lot of that was helped by the audio, I think. Great work.
This looks really interesting, I hope you can find a way to distribute it all as one download.
I loved the visuals, and your game had a really nice vibe in general.
Hope you revisit it to add a HUD and such! Great job. Had fun with it.
STUNNING visuals. Loved the atmosphere and music too.
Really excellent job.
Enjoyed the core gameplay. Wish there were more goals...
Nice visuals. Changing shapes was fun.
Woah! Of all the games I've played so far this one definitely stands out as the most complex.
I had a good time with it once I figured out what I was doing.
Your presentation stands out as being very strong. I loved the visual style, character portraits and music.
I think the core mechanic was neat, and this game was SUPER ambitious, which is always a good thing!
I did find it a bit disorienting when changing directions with the triangle character, due to the nature of the camera and 'flashlight'.
Fun sound effects!
Neat! I really liked that you thought about story in relation to the design, and the vibe of the game was really cool. Enjoyed it and appreciated that you put in the Mutation mode as well.
I was a bit confused as to how to play.
The music was cool though! And I did get a couple good chuckles out of the descriptions, such as when I died.
Hey, great job! Like someone said above, it bears similarity to another game, but you also made it your own with the procedural level generation, and I really appreciated that! The mechanics were tight and I never ran into any bugs! Awesome job!
You did an awesome job. Great visuals, audio, and gameplay that felt challenging but didnt end in 5 seconds even if you're bad at it. Really fun time.
I think you had something neat happening here!
The visuals are really nice- loved the water.
Would have obviously liked to see it finished, but you did great work and I hope you do more jams in the future!
Really cool gameplay! Great work. I think you spent time on the right things with this.
Neat game once I got the hang of what I needed to be doing.
Really nice visuals!
Like some others here, I was a bit confused, but did get the hang of it eventually. Once I understood, I had a really fun time.
I also really liked the art.
WOW! Really amazing work. Honestly don't know how you did it. Well done.
