I had a really good time scaring away all of the citizens. Getting them all on my side proved to be difficult.
As others have said, I think if you locked the player to a grid like the boulders, that would make the game a lot easier to get used to.
GAFBlizzard, thanks for playing! I just want to point out that I never got around to putting visuals on the gun and sword attachments. If you equip them and walk near an enemy, you will see that they are being damaged. Also, the workbenches don't just seem random, they are random haha. I place three randomly on each level. I will take your suggestion down.
This is an absolutely fantastic puzzle concept. I would love to see this expanded.
This was a really simple concept, and it was really well done! I think it should have been made more obvious that you had to play both sides though. Failed twice before I realized I could switch back and forth.
The graphics and audio were really nice, just needs some more content.
Adding some sort of challenge to this game would definitely make it a hit, solid mechanic concept.
You should have turned off collisions on the side of the blocks, the sticking was a bit weird.
Your shapeshifting is top-notch. As everyone else said, some sort of checkpoint system would be great for this.
I really enjoyed this. I wish the camera was a bit further out. And also, I was able to move before the timer counted down on level 2.
The artwork was really well done for this, as well as the audio. It wasn't immediately apparent to me that I needed to hide though. Maybe needs some sort of natural mechanics introduction in the future.
I really like this one. Definitely add more levels in the future. The way you introduce the mechanic is also well done. It's pretty fun once you get into the groove.
You don't respawn if you fall off platforms or anything.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that, on The Long Haul, you can break stuff by moving the box on top of the little speed tunnel and then trying to go through it
Very solid design. The ramping difficulty was well done. I was a taken by surprise by the final level, I was so into it. I NEED MORE LEVELS. (Side note, maybe keep the percentage above at all times)
I really loved the sound of the clippers. 10/10 audio, haha. Especially with the blues in there. I did feel like my money trickled down a bit too fast, but maybe I just suck at the game :P
I loved the art of this game. I also feel like it should be made more obvious what is happening to me in the different forms, if anything, as Cerno_b said
Without a doubt, the best game I have played for LD35, good job with this, would love to see it expanded with more puzzle mechanics.
Have you considered making it so that enemies shoot at you if they spot you as a sphere? I'm not sure if that's in there and it just didn't happen, but it seems like a good idea.
The A and the R look pretty close for such a fast-paced game
The game is, of course, slow-paced, and I really like that. I like the simplicity of it. And that itch to collect all of the shapes was driving me insane. Great job.
It was pretty easy to get stuck in this game. And it wasn't obvious how long I could stay shifted.
I think the initial speed of the paddle is a bit too slow. My roommate and I played for a while and had a really great time though.
