I liked it. Controls were a bit floaty, though.

dasginger 2016-04-18 03:18

The voice is a really nice touch, and I love the clean art style. You're right though, the AI is HARD. It's fun to play against though!

rosden-shadow 2016-04-18 03:18

Great game! Excellent work!

madhoe 2016-04-18 03:20

Good concept! I wish it has the speed and precision of Super Hexagon. Also, I don't see the point of the arena shape changing, since the paddle always moves in a circle.

biscuitdough 2016-04-18 03:21

took me a little too long to read the font haha. Really well polished, always surprising to see a real 'escape' menu in a jam game.

holdmeimscared 2016-04-18 06:17

Full points for audio. I loved the ball changing colors based upon who last hit it and therefore whose score it will be if it goes out of bounds. I like the concept, good use of theme!

syldarion 2016-04-18 07:43

I think the initial speed of the paddle is a bit too slow. My roommate and I played for a while and had a really great time though.

So much fun against friends! Great game!

hyoga-3d 2016-04-18 16:58

Good game, interesting use of the theme.

mantlair 2016-04-18 17:53

Well games design is great. Would be much more fun with someone else probably. I played against AI. Well done!
(Oh my god! Thank you for making me know about fake music generator!)

If this was intended to be a parody of Super Hexagon, you've done a brilliant job sir. From the microsoft sam voice to the small references this was quite funny. Not only that but it makes a great variation of Pong as well.

Also quite glad you added a vs AI option, something I usually find lacking in multiplayer entries. Excellent job!

batmanasb 2016-04-18 22:45

I love this game, it's like Pong 2! I'm going to keep it and find someone to play with, because the AI is a cheating PoS! It's cheating like mad! And even with it's cheating, I almost beat it (4 to 3 score) until it toggled it's rage hacks and finished me off with a score of 4 to 6 :(

apantaloni 2016-04-19 17:44

I'd have preferred a faster but more precise (without momentum) movement, like super hexagon ;) Anyway... the game is fun and local multiplayer is always great to have!

sojabird 2016-04-20 12:40

Not too bad, pretty fun idea.
Too bad the shape of the board doesn't really change the gameplay, also I think the paddles should reflect the ball instead of just flipping the normal of the ball.

cat5casey 2016-04-20 18:33

Quite fun. Between the graphics, sounds, and general polish, an excellent overall entry.

One point of criticism, though, is that some of the random events during game play seem somewhat inconsequential.

geckoo1337 2016-04-20 21:51

Great project which could be famous on mobile device. well done ++

teamscripta 2016-04-21 03:30

This is very impressive for 48 hours! Especially since you added included an AI player!

broxxar 2016-04-21 05:46

Love the narration!

lostalloy 2016-04-22 07:14

I had a lot of fun with this game, albeit I kept losing hahahaha

onlyslightly 2016-04-24 23:09

I played it with my wife and it was super fun! I liked the voice overs and the random changes to the arena over time. The controls felt smooth and it was a fun take on pong. Thanks for making this!

emmelineprufrock 2016-04-24 23:09

Loved it! Managed to play PvP, which was nice. Reverse was a real dick, but I liked all of the random variations the game threw out.

thegoofromspace 2016-04-26 09:27

I like how you could score a point off any point of the field, rather than needing to send it through a certain goal.

The graphics were simple, but juicy. The "wakes" that came off the paddles were a nice effect. That font was a bit hard to read, but it's not like you wrote an essay in it.

I think the game had announcements for a lot of things that you didn't really need announcements for, like "Reverse rotation!" I would just make it so the field slowly reverses on its own. 'cause players can handle that, y'know?

Not really sure what it adds to the game to have the field change like that though, except that it lets you follow the theme. At the end of the day, it doesn't affect your paddle's movement much, which is what really matters. The shapes would have more impact if the playing field had other features, like solid barriers at every angle. Triangles would have a few, large barriers and shapes with more sides like octagons would have lots of smaller ones.

Really though, a shifted shape is a shifted shape, and a fun, well-made game is a fun, well-made game. Nicely done!
