This one grew on me. I really enjoyed the ambience. The only problem with being so text-heavy is that I noticed a few typos/awkward phrasing that would've been easier to catch in a non-jam setting. I'd be curious to see this expanded into something bigger. One complaint is that the text fading was a bit long, though.

Decent little adventure. My biggest gripe is that the directional buttons are a) in different places each time and b) take forever to fade in.

I didn't finish because it was fairly difficult to tell what was happening in the story and what the clues I picked up even meant.

The ambience is good though and the random generation is certainly interesting.

A good adventure, the only problem is the structure of the mansion because sometimes i felt a bit lost.

Great job. I think you could have made the building a bit smaller (I got lost a few times) but you clearly have a great sense of what this space looks and feels like; great atmosphere.
I do think the text could fade in a bit faster, as mentioned by others.
Love text adventures and this was a good bit of fun to go through.

Very interesting use of shapeshifting, and good work on the mood as well.

This is really cool - great job creating a solid mood with so little. I like the angle you've taken with the theme here - it's subtle, but ends up pretty compelling.

It would be really cool to expand this, to have multiple endings and actually tie the hints into the game play more.

Concept is cool, nice little story based.
However, all options were always Go North, South, East or West. I like the idea of a random generated story, though. I think it would work better if you could see a small map that only shows where you have been, that way you can keep the random, but game would be clearer.
Good job
