A fun concept, but I have difficulty to understand the controls
The background is so beautiful!
Nice job! Very charming creative direction, the music goes well with the artistic theme. The first level was one of the hardest for me, where as some of the later levels were very easy. Either way tons of fun, hope you make more levels :)
so sad :(
Played 4 players. Laughed a lot. Great idea, well done :)
Great music, but every time I pressed the space, the page scrolled down and disrupted my gameplay :(
Cool idea and nice graphics. As others have mentioned, enemy shots are difficult to see, and there's a lot of them in a small area. Tweaking the amount and maybe increasing the amount of space to fly around in could make this a lot better. Great job :)
innovative idea! Cute art style! So addictive!
The graphics is great, and the gameplay is smooth too!
The art is unique and identical. But I think it would be better if you change the type font.
beautiful graphics and relaxed atmosphere! The only complain is I got stuck several times stuck in the game.
cute MMO!
Really solid entry! Love the use of light & mirrors for your weapon, great take on the theme. Puzzles are fun but not terribly difficult. Restarting is snappy and lets you get right back into the action. Well done!
Really enjoyed the slingshot concept and mechanic! I think a little larger battlefield and the ability to grab from slightly further away could have helped, but great job overall.
Not so sure what to do :(
Very cool! I like the added forge heat element of gameplay, it adds upon the common match-3 elements very well. I almost wish there were levels to go through and more of a way to fail, but it was a lot of fun to play :) good job!
Potentially the best title screen audio since the dawn of gaming.
cannot open on my mac :(
This game has a really cool mechanic with a lot of puzzling opportunities. Good stuff!
Solid concept behind this game
Cute game and fun concept, but sometimes I feel it is hard to climb on the stem I created
very solid concept and good game art, but I feel the pace of the gameplay is too slow for me
Amazing story and graphics!
fun game! The sound effects for shooting and hitting enemies was really satisfying. I also liked the overheat mechanic, adds a lot to the gameplay. Good job :)
The texture of dog is really nice!
I laughed when I saw "Oh No! The Dragon!" 5 stars for humor :)
Really solid entry! Love the art style, idea, coffin, everything. Hope you keep making more for this!
The best visual I have encountered in LD! So sad I can't play :(
Love the idea of using food as a weapon against other pieces of food. Cool music :)

The character moves so slow
Cool idea, well executed. Love the art style
Awesome style and mood. Really enjoyed the teleportation mechanic, nicely done!
Love the music and mood of this one! Great job :)
@sergi We do support xbox controllers! Give it a shot next tim :)
@frokes There is AI for those who would like to play without friends.
If you start the game with 1 person, it will automatically add 3 bots.
Additionally, you have the option to add a specific amount of bots by using the + and - buttons on the character select screen.
Hope you get a chance to play again, would love to hear your updated opinion!
Nice start, would love to see this finished post-compo!
I love the little details of the animation, but I feel when the character falling down, it moves so slow
A basic form of Nuclear Throne, with colors! Give it a shot, pretty fun :)
Awesome. Good polish and really fun. Real hard!
Pretty game!
What is this????
The fart bomb is hilarious, great humor!
Fantastic and Gory
I had trouble quitting the game. Escape didn't seem to do it. Would be good to add that in there quickly. Also the shooting seemed a bit unresponsive (it seemed like paint didn't always come out). Not bad though, and a nice puzzle idea.
hilarious.
Funny stuff
Great graphics and audio, but the gameplay is not that smooth.
Played for a while, wasn't sure if I was going well or not. I like the screen shake to indicate the fight is happening off screen and the light flickering was a nice touch!
unique and iconic art style!
I really enjoyed this. Nice graphics, cool mood. Thanks!
Silly, fun for a time, had a few issues and the animation was a bit bothersome to the eye, but overall not too bad. Could use some polish. Also curious if any other cards or characters actually exist.
Music is good, and you are indeed a monster devouring things. Seems a bit like it was made in powerpoint though.
Nice mechanic and good use of the theme! Good graphics too!
This was really fun and had an interesting mechanic. Very polished all around! I do echo some of the other comments that it would have been good to have the chop happen on the down press of the spacebar!
The movement, as others have mentioned, made the game tough. Excellent effort with the multiplayer aspect though!
Great audio and graphics. Plays smoothy. At first I forgot to check sound, and was pleasantly surprised by it! Having the sound on definitely enhanced the playing experience for me.
I think it could benefit from some random power-up boosts to keep it interesting after a few plays.
Overall, very nice!
Won't launch
Nice pacing at the start, good challenges, character feel was good, engineering seemed solid, art was fantastic. Good impacts on death. Particles were nice and subtle, not over the top. Everything moved well. Really clean. Really really well done.
Awesome graphics and sound, which really helped to set the mood. Unfortunately I died randomly, the idea wasn't exactly innovative, but that's okay. Nice work.
Absolutely loved all the bits flying everywhere. Glad to see that old-man Kraken takes damage. The waves created when attacking straight up were great fun.
The high scores page could use some adjustments (styling, can't scroll, things like that).
Overall, nice job!
sweet idea!
Really nice :)
Had a good time playing with 5 of my friends! A little buggy but the concept is a lot of fun :) Good job!
Really love the paralaxing. Interesting control scheme, worked well after a while. Felt my self actually getting competitive, so I think it was well executed!
That assassin messed me up!
Well done :)
This was really great! A very well rounded project. Good stuff!
Cool graphics, it was fun to run around collecting the gold orbs :)
Dark as heck! Good mood, voice overs were really odd I think. I didn't so much feel like I was a monster but someone who needed rehabilitation.
Lots of laughter over here, nice job haha
Neat spin on the Kraken idea. The Kraken sounds were definitely entertaining :) Controls were difficult, but I definitely enjoyed trying out something new.
Nice job!
Interesting way of storytelling, it was a little frustrating to start all the way over for messing up.
Got the theme! Music was good, even though it was made by someone else, it was well chosen. Unfortunately the game is solvable. Just stand in one spot and keep hitting the space bar. Art scared me...not sure if that was intentional.
Hey everyone, thanks for playing and commenting so far!
We've uploaded the Web builds and Linux build for anyone looking for those. We couldn't really test the Linux build, but it should work with keyboard & mouse at a minimum. There is a bug with the WebGL version where it detects a gamepad controller and provides the appropriate UI elements, but doesn't actually detect button presses, so you'll need to use the keyboard. Sorry about that, we will fix that up in a post-jam build for sure.
Very smooth graphics! I'm impressed you were able to put an entire skill system in the game in just 3 days.
The levels did seem to come fast at some times, and I did end up selecting a skill I didn't really want because it was the only one available (as 3 different levels). Locking skills to progress from 1 -> 2 -> 3 and so on may be a good idea (example: not being able to select level 2 without first having level 1).
Overall, very nice! Good luck with this game in the future.
Nice intro, cool music and good looking over all. Just some tiny bits of feedback: I felt like the collider on my player wasn't very obvious. Sometimes shots would go right through me. If that was intentional, it wasn't clear why. And just one other thing I would do in the future is maybe consider an alternative to right click for people on laptops as the special.
Well done!
Nice work, funny! Great artwork and animations. Little sexist but I imagine dracula would be...
great graphics, but it's too difficult to play
Funny! Played pretty smoothly. Graphics could use some work. Audio was decent.
Nice moustache. The flavor text was great. Unfortunately I was so focused on playing that I didn't get to read the conversations. I also enjoyed the variety of vehicles thrown at you!
I felt that snapping the camera to an explosion was a bit too jarring, especially when it was off-screen (ex. when something you hit goes flying and hits another thing in the distance). The controls (keyboard) seem a bit difficult, but I got a bit better at them as I kept trying.
Overall very nice, lots of polish in the Jam Version!
I liked the art style quite a bit! I think it could have used a little more as far as complete game flow goes (starting up/ ending) that sort of user experience stuff. Good job!
Great game guys! Really great for a 72 hour effort. Technically the networking runs pretty smooth and the graphics are really awesome!
Of course in making something this large it leaves room for a few small holes. There were a few UI bugs in the main menu (clicking the character customize and then the join game has overlaps) and then there are a few cases where my mouse got stuck opening a menu in game, or if you start typing into chat you can't get out without submitting something.
The character is really great and I love the variety in weapons and animations. I do think there are a few funky bits when you try to do things like roll back (my camera would orient strange and then it would be hard to roll back and maintain facing direction)
And finally, just looking down the road, it would be great to have things like more feedback when you hit a player, or more feedback when being hit.
These are very small critiques and really are meant to be read with perspective to the quality and ambition of the game overall. You clearly demonstrate your talent for game development here. Well done!
Nicely done! Love the style!
The music sounded good and the game was pretty good from what I was able to play. I was playing in the HTML version but it kept crashing (my chrome tab would just close, I imagine that's crashing for HTML5?)
It does seem like there is more explanation needed. I got pretty quickly that I had to shoot the noise and I wanted to hit the stations. I wish I could see more of it without it crashing. I also am not sure about the theme on how I was running out of space, beyond just the enemy encroaching and growing.
[Edit] I also like the overall consistency of the art style and gameplay and audio. Well balanced.
Great work with the audio, it really gave the experience life. Only immediate feedback is I felt the mouse sensitivity was a little bit low.
Really incredible entry. Very well done. I had a lot of fun with it. Best one I've played so far!
Really cool idea, and well executed. Very consistently polished. I agree with @tyler-funk on the countdown timer, but it seems that was a feature I just didnt know existed.
I love it, good job @andreww and team!
I think the graphics style was pretty ambitious, although eye catching for sure!
I did have some struggles with the gameplay. The camera was a bit difficult and I think as mentioned above it was hard to know when I was swinging and when I was actually hitting a mutant.
An ambitious project overall!
Awesome music. Some of the audio levels felt a little unbalanced though, like some of the sound effects were a bit abrasive at their audio level.
Graphics were nice :) and I felt like the overall look was good and consistent
I agree that I wish I could speed up the text, and the time between towns is way too long. Also, the graphics are rough. Even if art isn't your thing, I feel like you would almost be better off going with simple geometric shapes just to prove out the gameplay.
