Sorry, we had a lot more planned but we couldn't make it:
- best worldwide score is saved and displayed for each level, but you can't set your name, so everybody is Anonymous...
- a timed mode was in the works but couldn't be done in time
- assets for 2 alternative environments were ready as well...
- level design was a bit of a last minute thing: the tutorial is half done and the difficulty curve is non-existent
Oh well, we had a lot of fun making it and we hope you'll enjoy playing it! Thanks for your time and comments! :D

Awesome Audio *_* The game is fun too, don't blame yourself, i liked it!
i think the swap color system does not fits well with random bullets, or i did miss something :D

One of the best. Great mechanic. Great sound. Great graphics. And fun, fun, fun! And great western mood and humor to bood. All in all, GREAT!

The audio and graphics are both really cool, and the basic gameplay mechanics seem solid. I guess the biggest thing it is lacking is thought out content. There are a bunch of levels, but the color mechanic feels more like an annoyance than something interesting most of the time. Still. a nice take on the theme!
Awesome aesthetics. A bit glitchy but lots of polish and cool effects. My only big critique is the mechanic of matching color bullets to the enemy. I would just spam bullets at the enemy til one matched and just dodge the reflected ones. It kind of undermined the whole mechanic. High marks all around though.

Awesome entry. The audio, visuals and general polish are amazing, and the mechanic is simple but well executed and very effective. One of the best games I've tried so far.
You should definitely try to finish everything that you couldn't. Congrats!
A basic form of Nuclear Throne, with colors! Give it a shot, pretty fun :)

Thank you all!
Yes the content is lacking in terms of levels... I wrote about is here (and I added a video tutorial): http://ludumdare.com/compo/2015/04/24/seamus-gun-short-post-mortem-and-how-to-play/
Nice graphic and audio! Gameplay also interesting, but it may be a bit annoying if you find a couple of green guys but you don't have green bullets.
Very solid game with nice visuals. A great showcase for HaxePunk. Fun!

fast and fun game!
May be the right click could skip a bullet raher than swap bullet and reserve (so we can have good color spaming the right click)

The gameplay is fun but the music (and the sounds effects as well) make this game so enjoyable.
And with this art, this game is just epic.
Great job ! :)
Killed it with the audio! Good fun overall!

One of the most fun games I played so far, and a pretty solid entry overall.

The game felt kinda random. I liked graphics and music, I liked the idea (I'm surprised I didn't see a game like this yet), but it feels mashed together.
The protection from a certain color and color swapping wasn't very useful, maybe you could add a level with inevitable damage over time, or some super-duper color you'd like to store in your backpack.
Seems like this game is too big for the jam, so a post-compo is suggested. A further developed one.
And "Game over"? Who tells the winner it's "Game over"?

@Madball: Yeah I didn't get the time to code two different end screens ;)
Thanks to all for the feedback!
Pssst - you are in todays Ludum Dare to Believe! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5huV5G4H100

Really nice concept, and the art and music fit really well together, nice job :)
A 5-star entry, very solid. I felt the gameplay was a bit more button mashing than hitting the enemy with the following color, but it is still good for a jam entry. Music put directly the player in the far west mood, perfect!
Don't hesitate to continue to work on it, I really liked it (felt like nuclear throne).
Fantastic entry! The audio and graphics are really awesome, and the game is pretty fun too! This is pretty polished as is, so really the only improvement I can suggest is more levels.

One of my LD32 favourites! Very nice game in all categories! Very polished and well done!
A very fun game :) I'm not 100% I understood the color mechanic: you HAVE to shoot bullets in the wall when the 2 equipped colors don't match the enemies around?
