This game doesn't handle 5:4 resolutions well. Some screens had dialogue options cut off at the bottom. Zooming out fixed it.

I wont rate it because I can't play it. When I reached the cactus scene there were no buttons at all to continue. I also tried fullscreen mode.

mokujin 2015-04-20 21:29

Nice story telling! Would like it would be full and complete

luisdc 2015-04-20 21:38

Ok I did that with the zoom and problem solved :)

Nice story, I wish it was longer.

bonus1up 2015-04-20 21:40

Thanks! Sorry for the scaling problems, the CSS is certainly messy :-S

jaredsartin 2015-04-20 21:59

It ends at the cactus scene? Is this just a picture book? It's pretty...

furrikira 2015-04-20 22:11

I literally zoomed out and went to full screen when I'm looking for other options. You should consider having a scroll.

Other than that, I like reading. This is nice!

dix 2015-04-20 22:37

nice game ^^ the story was intriguing, and the art was awesome :D

uvwar 2015-04-20 22:40

Yeah I also couldn't find one of the food options and sat there confused for a long time until I came back to read the comments, something with the scaling acting weird. Otherwise a nice start!

ultravisitor 2015-04-20 22:47

I love text games. I had the zoom issue as well but I made do.

bonus1up 2015-04-20 23:07

I finally managed to solve the issue with scaling by tweaking the settings in itch.io
Please let me know if you still have issues at any screen! Thanks for the feedback!

sergi-montaner 2015-04-21 08:38

I hope you finish the game.
I liked the story very much.
The clue system was well thought but hard to notice it's there at the begining.

kabutakogames 2015-04-21 14:59

Didn't have any issues loading it - would love to see it reach its conclusion!

mantlair 2015-04-22 19:49

Nice start, would love to see this finished post-compo!

lucidsheep 2015-04-22 19:52

Not sure it qualifies as a game, but the art was really nice. wish it played more like old infocom games where you had to type in what you wanted to do.

winmac32 2015-04-22 19:52

Got a nice story, although it's a bit too linear.

raysandlazors 2015-04-22 19:55

I really hope you are going to work on it, because now I really want to play the finished version. I loved the storytelling and aesthetics, and I have a special place in my heart for this sort of connect-the-clues games. Now get to work, chop chop :)

jk5000 2015-04-22 19:55

It was a fun story.

jagang 2015-04-22 19:58

no scaling problems either. it was a bit sad for me that it ended as soon as the story started to suck me in, but at least the part that was there, was a good read

syncxzoz 2015-04-25 06:34

nice picture..

pierrec 2015-04-27 16:31

A bit more interactivity would have been nice, since you got the rest pretty well covered
