I love the graphics and the concept! The controls are a might shonky though
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → kabutakogames

I love the graphics and the concept! The controls are a might shonky though
I love the mechanics of this game, though it was a bit too easy to just play by spamming jump
I'm having trouble opening the zip as archive - this looks really cool though! Wish I could get it to work
I loved it! Would be awesome to see more of the robot
Really great communicative and simple art - I felt like the pace could've helped things along alot though
I love the surreal mood!
The web link takes me to a land of squares and russian - any chance of a fix?
I like the feel of the space, and good job on the art - though it seems some of the platforms don't line up right
I like how the character plays music over the interstitial scenes!
Beautiful pixels - I feel our games are a kind of soulmate ;)
I know its weirdly specific but I love the way you pull off clouds with style
Great art and mood! I wish it was a little easier though, as I found it tough to get going
Simple game, great execution
Pretty fun, though I think a health bar is in order
The pun title totally got me, can't wait to play this once I am home from work :)
A cool little music game here
It would've been nice to a game exploring violence from the perspective of the victim - the death respawn loop is a cool storytelling mechanic - though the joke at the end undermined it. Still a nifty little game though
Wish there were more options for hugging!
Nails the look - I love the animations
I loved the game feel - though I wish the levels let you play around a little more before throwing you in the deep end
I like the concept, and it was a cool sort of story book though there were a few glitches in how the document progressed me
I like the low poly look graphics, would've been cool to see more story!
This took a weird and dark turn, I hope I'm not the only one who has found that out
I think its an awesome concept, though in my opinion the turning was way to slow and it'd be nice to be able to go left without having to turn
I'm using Firefox, and I had trouble playing this entry - it seemed to slow down and crash when it started? I hope this helps
Thank god we didn't mention the dirty knife!
I like the movement once you get a hang of it :)
The music was super terrifying, though sometimes the camera didn't work properly
Really cool style and play - I sometimes wish the control was a little tighter since I found this suuuper hard, but that can add to it too
I little more fluff in the form of visuals and audio and this would be truly awesome!
Its got a cool upsetting style that catches you off guard, but I found it to hard to decypher the battle to get much of a rush out of it
I love the little narratives like this that get built in flixel games - the multiple endings and the tone are so great. In my first run through I didn't realise you could activate speech, so I just collected the jellies until getting the crown. After that though I had to go through and read it all :)
I like the style and the way the levels load in, but I find the controls a little tough to figure out where my character is going to go
A sword is not an unconventional weapon... unless you are a bird! I loved the mood of this, and helping the lonely warrior was a great turn of story - loved it
Wish there was some kind of congratulation or end screen between games :)
I love this! Sweet little game - though I initially read the name as Tubgoat and I can't say I'm not a little disappointed that it isn't that
Amazingly polished, only complaint being that the difficulty curve is quite steep :)
Cute little game, the graphics work nicely
Definitely had the right idea! Wish there was more depth to using my opinion though :)
I think the graphics are awesome and the mechanic works well - really nice little project
A really strong entry, though the difficulty kept me from getting too addicted
I like your idea, and the art portrays it well - wish there was a payoff for gathering lots of data!
I really liked the concept, though I think it would've taken better to an adventure-style game where your tweets effect the world around you
I love the style but I wish I had a little more context for why I'm in there wrecking the city
A fun little game, though I felt the platforming could be a bit too precise for me
Limited palette reminds me of old amiga games :)
Nice little game - felt a little like an old-school platformer
I love the surreal setting, the art matches perfectly
Loved the palette and the music, shame it didn't fit the theme closer!
Very slick entry - loving the glowing art
Hilarious work, though a volume slider for music would be good
I like the gameplay, interesting controls
Awesome art, I love the style and the choice of weapon - I wish there was a little more polish though and I found myself uncertain if I was meant to do certain things
Fun mechanic, though I wish there was more of a goal
I like the screen shader, would love to see more story and original graphics
Looks like an interesting concept, but there was so much going on with the art that I found it a little hard to keep playing - Would like to see something similar with a more minimal approach :)
I liked the concept and style - wish the controls were a little tighter though
I love the idea for this, I'll definitely get some friends around to try it!
Great graphics and mood! The light and throwing works really well together
This is a neat little piece - I like the art, though it can be a little hard to read at times.
Also, Norton thought this was a virus - hopefully noone else has this problem!
Neat little time waster, shame it wasn't more with the theme
Great interpretation of the theme, and great style! I love the way it gives you the option to attack, but makes it near useless - does it do anything if you manage to somehow get him down to 0?
I loved the mechanics! The feel of the ship was awesome, and it'd be great to have a bit more context for the goals :)
Pretty rad, I found a glitch where if you jump repeatedly on a wall you fly right up it ;) made it a lil easier
I really like the mood this creates, it was super easy to waste a lot of time just floating around - though a few more active mechanics or set pieces would be awesome
I like the minimal graphics - some music would have been great
Amusing graphics and idea, but you should definitely go for something closer to the theme next time
It looks cool - though I found it hard to get two controllers together to play
I love the Asimov reference ;) nice work
I can't seem to get past either hosting or joining? The screens look really cool though
I liked the low-poly graphics but I found it was pretty easy to use the gun at a distance and manually smash things - which felt a bit like something I wasn't supposed to do.
Couldn't run this, windows said it stopped working immediately :(
Marty Funk the farty monk: A++
I really liked the hat mechanic! Great game feel - though I fell through the world on the second document level
Really solid controls, I loved the little pictures on the pillars!
One of my favourite entries, I wish more games used noncombative problem solving like this - almost reminds me of the puzzles in the old Abe games
Visuals are nice and pleasing to the eye, rotating planet works well. Not sure exactly what my goal in game (if there is one) was meant to be, but the overall experience was pleasant.
Really solid little piece - nice and polished and a rockin soundtrack
The concept of flying via interdimensional worm is awesome, though I wish it was clearer how much health you had, and how to damage the enemies
Got to be one of the funnier jam games so far
It's cool to see you know your games strengths, nice art, a cool little background track - everything you need really!
Pretty fun - though I wish there was a little more checkpointing
I liked the graphics - it would've been cool if there was a bedrock tile to show that you could always walk on the bottom of screen
Probably one of my favourite entries! I like how each thread had something happening - and I didn't feel like I was missing out by not taking one option or the other
Cool music, though I wish the clapping had more of an effect, like a rhythm game sort of thing
Fun little game here,
The art really sells it well,
Wish that there was more!
Great mechanic implemented well! A really great jam game - multiplayer would be an awesome next step
I think your illustrations on the giant and the spiders are great, would like to see more!
I like the soundtrack, though the game didn't run very smoothly for me
Sweet little game - would've been cool if there was some more effects to just mashing the keyboard wildly
Took me a second to figure out the controls - I love the atmosphere!
I loved the way it became a scramble for the pickups - and the way that physics interacted with them. I think it'd be cool if there was a bit more justification for the affection dropping like if you were fighting over a toy bear or keepsake :)
It feels cool to play, though it'd be awesome to have a bit more colour in the enemies as it got a little hard to read sometimes :)
Very reminiscent of super crate box - would be cool to see some more weapons or different enemies
Loved the style, though a volume control would be awesome
Well done for your first try! You might want to consider a run mechanic, the dead ends got quite frustrating because it takes a long time to go anywhere.
Super well polished - when I first saw the thumbs I wondered if you would use bread as a weapon, turns out... yes!
Cool mechanic though it was a little tough and I found it hard to tell when I was doing anything, which sound would help alot
It was a cool environment, though I think it needed a tutorial
I like the idea, and I even kept playing for quite a while but a bunch of the assets didn't load and I was left with black boxes most of the time - also apparently I can buy 20 packets of white powder on an empty wallet :p
It'd be cool to have more of an idea of when are where potatoes spawn - I found I got stuck a bunch without any potatoes, and that's never a situation you want to be in haha
I love the pixels in this, very nice
It's hard not to like the komodo dragon, so it has charm. I found the sound was too loud and needed to be turned off, and it was hard to understand I effected enemies - I look forward to your future entries as you add more polish to your games
Didn't have any issues loading it - would love to see it reach its conclusion!
I can back that up - WebGl is definitely loading for me and I have had it in the background loading for 10+ minutes...
For those curious,
Try the shop for new phrases,
A hundred bucks each!
I really love this concept, it was a fantastic package, but I found the voice became a little annoying over time
I found the canonballs too hard to get past, felt like I was missing something? Cool graphics though
I liked the mechanic, but it was very hard to predict the way the small blocks would move - it would be interesting if they simply matched your movement patterns but collided with walls, and the bigger blocks pursued you more aggressively :)
Looks really cool but I can't seem to work out the inputs?
I wish it were a little less based on random outcomes, but I like the humour of the writing
I loved the concept of this - gives me a real wrong trousers vibe :)
I love the mechanic - super addictive!
I looks cool, and I like the idea - I think I definitely need a tutorial as there is a lot going on at once and it takes a while to figure out what inputs you can make, and measure that against the outcomes, to figure it out
Neat game, would have liked to see more to do with the earth quake
Cool graphics and concept - though the game running had some issues :(
I think this is a really sweet concept, I love the idea of taking away sight in a game - though the tough thing is it can't quite imitate real life with blackness as in real life you still have a sense of direction and when you collide with stuff etc. I would love to see a few more indicators of what was going on - maybe if your screen got darker or brighter the nearer you were to a light source? Or if you could somehow indicate that you were turning? As is, I love the sound!
It's a nice little series of mechanics, and I can see them broadening out really well; though I found the tutorials pace a bit slow - would've been nice if we had a more free playground to run around while inducting the mechanics
Hard not to click with a title like this
It's a sweet looking game - wish it had some sound or even some music though
I didn't get that there was a red pixel going up and down - I couldn't see anything on looking and ended up finishing the level by jumping up the uneven walls and over the levels boxes to the end - it'd be cool to have an indicator of where to look for pixels like that :)
I would love to see a full game of this! I love the way that you naturally leveled by building up resistance over time, and the style and art reminded me a lot of the battle network games in a good way
I thought this would be far less literal for some reason, great graphics!
It's a nice polished package - though it really needs more of a difficulty curve
I think with a little polish this game could be really fun, it's definitely on the right track. Just stuff like a little more feedback for your attacks and maybe more predictable enemy movement will make a huge difference. Best of luck!
Awesome! The physics and characters were hilarious! Wish you had more time to do environments - would love to see a full release of this :)
Every time I entered a name and pressed ready it crashed? The art looks cool so I wish I could play
For me the html5 didn't work in Firefox :(
I couldn't get a match - but I love the look of this game!
I really enjoyed this. I liked the way the controls really made me feel like I was wrestling with the plane to keep it in the air. Using the harpoon felt good too. Well done!
