I spawned as one of the blue players early in the game and started falling endlessly...is that a bug?

ellian 2015-04-20 02:28

Wish there was more to it. :)
The ending was somewhat predictable, but it was still good nonetheless. I liked that the narration comes from the enemy, too :D

masterboth 2015-04-20 02:30

Thanks for the feedback! @dvdfu I'm not sure what could have caused that problem, but I think I've fix it.

zoneone2 2015-04-20 02:32

I, too encountered the spawning bug dvdfu mentioned.
Happened the first couple times I tried playing, but I made it through all the way the third time.

ghostbomb 2015-04-20 02:32

Haha, I'm sad now :(

leon75 2015-04-20 02:33

Funny game, but unfortunately no real gameplay. Still a good game to play through

dvdfu 2015-04-20 03:14

Seems to work now! Short & sweet game :)

fanttum 2015-04-20 03:42

Fun art that's for sure! Nice job there.

eriku 2015-04-20 03:49

A neat little game. The art does look very similar. Interesting take on the theme.

rnlf 2015-04-20 08:47

I really liked this, it didn't look like much, but there's a message behind it and that's always something I enjoy. The end killed it a bit for me though. Would have preferred if both would survive and.

Nice, small entry with a message!

sience 2015-04-20 08:59

Good idea and story! Your theme, love as an weapon is somewhat similar to my theme :). Nice!

dragonxvi 2015-04-20 10:30

Well that was dark :p

headchant 2015-04-20 10:45

The idea was good and the controls were feelling nice. I hoped it would be longer but this fits the theme. Did not have any problems playing on OSX.

windmill-games 2015-04-20 13:50

I want to start by saying that I disagree with the last sentence of the game, this is very nice and well worth the play!

It took me a bit of time to figure out that I was supposed to die, some instincts are hard to unlearn :)

The game has wonderful art, I wish that you would make an entire game with similar art, I saw the image that you got the inspiration from, and I dare say that your take on it is a LOT better.

The game has a touching message and I am happy that I got the chance to play it, very well done!

esayitch 2015-04-20 21:41

I very much liked the art style and the atmosphere (a shame that there wasn't any music to accompany the visuals) Nice twist at the end, didn't see it coming :)

Good luck!

jaredsartin 2015-04-20 21:58

Buggy, but looks pretty!

morokiane 2015-04-21 00:52

Not bad, its a good concept. Time is a killer.

codecranker 2015-04-21 02:52

Peace is your unconventional weapon, I like it!

stevesalmond 2015-04-21 08:54

Awesome! I had a little bit of trouble with the weapon cursor - it seemed a bit laggy when I was airborne for some reason. Perseverance prevailed in the end, however :) Loved the 'tutorial text'.

stevesalmond 2015-04-21 08:57

Oops, that comment was intended for a game in another tab - how embarrassing. ^^ Real review to follow shortly..

stevesalmond 2015-04-21 09:06

Well, that didn't take too long, haha :) Neat take on the theme!

tommyno222 2015-04-21 11:13

Beautiful example of how easily is possible to give some game an idea and a value. The graphics style is also wonderful!

Incidentally, I've also created little story-driven game from war setting, so if you want, I'd be pleased if you check it out :)

lanza 2015-04-21 13:38

The art is very cool and the idea is very good too. Too bad you didn't have enough time, the game is pretty neat

pinkmonkeyhead 2015-04-21 14:15

LOL best ending ever 10/10

triplevisiongames 2015-04-21 15:48

I pressed every button on my keyboard. Very good of you to code in 2 jump buttons!

I though it was good, I liked that you just have to die. I'm good at that! Cool little game!

masterofnan 2015-04-21 17:06

Looks nice and can see this could expand to other levels as you gain friends.

saintheiser 2015-04-21 17:26

Oh. This is unfinished, yeah. But very powerful concept! Few days ago I heard something simillar. A funny story.

Anyway I think you cover the theme by the right way! Good job!

scorched 2015-04-21 19:39

Make LÖVE, not war)) Liked the inversed narrative idea. More detailed gamification of it would be great

luck-of-the-day-games 2015-04-21 20:25

I actually liked it despite it's length, however at the end I got a error after the space to continue screen. Overall very good.

nevet 2015-04-21 23:34

I like the idea. Very nice graphics!

windmill-games 2015-04-22 20:04

I just wanted to let you know that your game made it into my list of top 10 games for LD32!

phi6 2015-04-23 10:12

I love it, and there's a twist ending! Big fan of that art style too, you did a good job using that effectively. Wish it had some audio!

kitch 2015-04-24 00:52

Really nice look. Really interesting concept as well. Took me a while to figure out what I was doing, only to find out I was doing it right the whole time.

Thanks!

josefnpat 2015-04-24 02:55

As usual, fantastic art. Shame you didn't have more time! I liked the story!

kabutakogames 2015-04-24 04:48

It would've been nice to a game exploring violence from the perspective of the victim - the death respawn loop is a cool storytelling mechanic - though the joke at the end undermined it. Still a nifty little game though

drauthius 2015-04-25 13:30

Nice narration and art. :)

glowingsnail 2015-04-25 18:58

Cute but incredishort.
