Hey, I just wanted to say that it's still possible to play singleplayer, even though it might look multiplayer only. You just have to click "host" and then "start game", and you can still run around and slice up some bats.

Anyway, we really appreciate the comments! We're thinking about finishing up the game afterwards because we've all grown pretty attached.

It would be really nice to remove/sell trees (like burning them, ala slash-and-burn maybe) or upgrading them. Their strengths don't really match the costs, since 5 pines can handle way more than a single oak.

A simple, easy game. Not necessarily bad, but somewhat lacking.

Very cool, but loosely related to the theme. Collecting the clues was easy, maybe make it a bit tougher to find them or make the house a bit bigger.

You know, it's one of the first games i've been reviewing that i genuinely liked. The only thing that i didn't really like though was that it would crash sometimes for no apparent reason, but that's not actually reviewing the game, so let's move on.
Basically, i was attracted by the fact it has some resource managing going on, like a manual tower defense game, that feels more satisfying to play because you're the one shooting the enemies. Not sure if you had this on mind or it's already implemented in the game, but i think the game would be better if you got bullets faster if you don't shoot for a while. If you did implement it you should add a value that displays how quickly you're recharging 'darkness'. Pickups would also be a plus!.
Also, not really something negative but i played the game for a while and i think there was some point that enemies came so often you had to let in at least one enemy -happened to me at least 2 times-. I kinda felt really sad that there was no score because i'd be playing this to get the top score on my devteam lol. Good job, mate!

I think splitting the game into two parts, like a "mineral collecting" section between all the "tower defense" sections would have been a better idea, since things get really hectic right off the bat.

A cool concept, but very tricky to play.

A charge bar or something like an arc predicting the trajectory would have been nice. The collision is a little wonky, like the seeds would hit the side of a wall and grow up instead of to the side. Enemies or the player has an unnecessarily large hitbox.

Really neat idea, though, and the sound effects/music were decent.

You lost the chance to use "You have dyed!" as a game over screen. Hard to aim, okay otherwise.

Neat concept, but my wrist hurts by having to mash the spacebar so much. Buff the damage dealt and it would be better.

The sound that played when you got the cat powerup killed my ears.
