Really loved the look of the game, but it took me a while to figure out the controls. Once I learned them, it still seemed tough to play. Great music, and as I said, really beautiful.

not bad
Couldn't figure out how to pick up the houses or anything, and I was getting stuck very often. I tried using right mouse button and that made me look at mouse, tried every key combo plus left mouse while right next to, infront of, or hovering cursor over a housea nd nothing.
Couldn't figure out the controls...
Graphics are serviceable, rather liked the tune playing in the background.
Added controls to description, hope that helps :T
Good job. I liked the music, great mood. Controls aren't too bad once you figure them out. The biggest issue is how you can get stuck when you have enemies in close proximity.
I liked the feeling of the buildings orbiting you before throwing.
I think your illustrations on the giant and the spiders are great, would like to see more!
I couldn't really play it. The enemies just kept pushing me around. Randomly I would be able to pick up buildings but that was it.
I'm having issues reliably picking things up, but I'll assume that's just my user error :) The pickup mechanic visually looks very neat and the relative inaccuracy of throwing fits the character very well. It's pretty fun/stressful, though that might have been with my difficulty in picking things up haha. Graphics were really good, and the music was spot-on.
Getting stuck in the corner is the worst, there should be a way out of that.
Strange graphics but the gameplay were nice.
In a weird way i enjoy the graphic!
:D nice entry!
Haven't managed to really play this yet. Right mouse just brings up a Unity menu for toggling fullscreen instead of throwing houses.
@Mental Atrophy : I can't seem to reproduce the issue. In the web version a Unity menu does show up, but the houses are thrown as well. Try the standalone downloaded versions instead if it's an issue.
I think the ingame instructions were good, but you should emphasize the HOLD more. Once I learned that I could hold the left button to pick up massive amounts of stuff it became much more fun.
Neat art style!
Nice try but kinda hard to control :)
It took me a while to figure out that holding the left mouse button and focusing on a single object will cause it to orbit around the giant...eventually. This is easier to understand with the trees, because they orbit very quickly, and thus, serve as a better indicator of the control scheme for your game.
Ultimately, I think you need a better tutorial system guiding the player how to play the game. No shame, though: I know it's hard to put that together in such a short amount of time.
Other changes I recommend: make everything react faster! For example, make the giant move faster. Give the player a sense of control by providing them enough speed to feel satisfied with what they're working with. I also using camera shakes, especially if we're talking about an earth shattering giant.
Nice work.
Same, the web version doesn't right click throw for me, sorry.
Was pretty enjoyable once i figured out the controls.
It took me really long to figure out the controls and I got stuck between the houses... When I finally learned how to use the controls, it was a bit slow altogether, but nice gameplay. I like that you added music, but why not choose a more flashy sound for the "charging"?
very cool!
