It is very fun, I loved the idea. Would love to see it as a finished project.
Nice game, amazing 3d city
Interesting concept and cool game, but i feel that some places have not been completed.
Very cool idea, I think there's a foundation for a good game here. If you're making a post-jam version, I'd love if we could make catapults and contraptions to get up to the higher windows, and a larger variety of objects to make unstable ladders! Spontaneous Compustion City was also a lot of fun to run around. I did find a bug with the bench outline, I think physics is still enabled for it? Fun game, good job! :smile:
This game is a lot of fun to run around in. The amount of times I got to just two floors under a person before I ended up screwing up was uncountable, and the amount of rage and anger I felt was a lot. However, it never felt like it was the game's fault. In a way, this gives me almost a "Getting Over It" vibe. I also just find Kevin MacLeod's bubbly royalty-free music playing over scenes of people standing at their window ledge because their apartment's on fire hilarious for some reason.
Graphics are really great! The city is impressive and it's a real reward to see it all when you reach the top of a building.
I like the idea too and the physic aspect of the platforming, I do wish there was more elements to use on the buidings as a support or help for climbing up (balcony for exemples?) I think I also discovered a gamebreaking strategy when looking down+jumping+spamming pickup/release, you can go really high without any structure.
I also liked the sandbox aspect of your game where you let the player chose his own objective and achieve it in the way he wants. Powerups where a nice touch.
It was fun thank you for your game!
I guess when i saw the theme "Unstable" i immediatly though that many games would use the concept of stacking things. However, you guys did in such a way that it become very fun to play.
The graphics are really impressive and i enjoyed the mechanics as well. Often i see games that rely on this kind of concept and have clunky controls, which here, gladly, are not the case.
The only downside i see is the "finding" system. While the arrows point at where the persons are in danger, when they are in the field of view, the arrows disappear and in many cases i don't even see the person. However, it's a really minor problem that don't affect the game experience that much.
Congrats on developing this game!
Really funny game. Impressive amount of work. Even if there is already a lot of work I would love to see this game with even more content :D !
Pretty fun concept, I like it. stacking boxes is pretty solid given the physics engine and how easy it is to move and place objects. Saw a power up near the start but couldn't figure out where to go before it ran out and couldn't find it again.
Nice art and and really fun to play! Bit laggy though
I tried the web version, but unfortunately if was unplayable due to lags (played on Chrome). But when I downloaded your game I was impressed with the city. It was really beautiful, I really appriacite the amount of work you had to put into this. Great take on the theme :) I had fun playing it :)
@denhette, @proxy-games, @tombuston thanks for the feedback!I am delighted that you enjoyed yourself
@san4es9524 (@hobzone thanks ! we still don't know whether to continue! We'll see :)
@mmhathaar thanks!
@astropower Thanks for the feed! what do you mean? :)
@reccy we still don't know whether to continue! We'll see :) but where did you find the bug?
@derek-volker thanks! sooner or later we fix it
@gamepopper power ups appear for the map, you have to look for them :)
@ytniminty unfortunately the web version is like this. we recommend downloading it
@spidd thanks! e recommend downloading it :)
@giulychu I found the bug when holding a bench and then having it touch one of the crates on the ground. It seemed to push the crates around. It didn't happen with other objects I was holding so that's why I think a collider must be enabled for that ghost bench object
Had fun playing this even if I was terrible at it. World design was really well done with some nice little details in there and the music worked nicely for the setting. Power ups were very much appreciated because i needed the extra time from constantly destroying my towers haha. Good job!
This was very fun to mess around with, although I didn't really end up building anything properly productive. I'd say the reason for this are the two bugs @reccy and @tombustonhave mentioned. The latter trivializes the game, since you can literally use a trash bag to fly around and pick people up. I think if you get this worked out it'll be a very fun game that challenges the player's patience more than I thought it would, but in a good way. (My patience was pratically at zero once I learned how to fly :P )
Nice idea, the city was impressive. Found the game incredibly difficult though.
Cool idea! The city looks awesome. The game is a little bit too hard though.
Hey there! Very pretty game with a very nice idea! I was too lazy to stack up everything, so i've decided to check if i can exploit the physics. You can fly if you grab a table jump onto it, jump again and take the table with you by double-clicking to undeploy and deploy it again, so you gain height. I was able to rescue some people with this technique :smile:
Very nice entry!
Very cool game. Struggled to get to some people, but impressed for what you achieved in a short amount of time.
