LD39 — Running out of Power

Tesla Siblings by Linky439 2017-08-02T22:56:39Z

Great Game! Love the graphics!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Identity by Kataware 2017-12-06T16:58:38Z

The graphics are awesome! The gameplay is a little lacking and there were a few bugs (the starting world was pretty glitchey) but in all, with the time you had to make it, good game!

Save Your Gold by Xsior 2017-12-14T18:07:33Z

Very well done! the graphics were nice and the mechanics were great! The spin attack is sort of broken and I wouldve liked the movement speed to be a bit higher but overall very well done!

Soul Warrior Merope - Soaring Soul by Priom 2017-12-10T03:24:17Z

Cool game! The concept is awesome. I had a bit of trouble figuring it out but I had fun anyway!

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Space Safe by MrTroy 2018-12-04T03:43:05Z

Fun game. The player moved strangely and was generally hard to control, but the concept and graphics were nice.

Resist and Persist by conrad123 2018-12-04T22:25:14Z

@evan-leibman @sadsmile @myrrhe excellent feedback! Appreciate it ;)

Resist and Persist by conrad123 2018-12-04T22:26:20Z

@capnat @lucecyl @casey-macneil thanks! We're glad you enjoyed.

Resist and Persist by conrad123 2018-12-05T16:27:55Z

@justalocalhero yeah, there were a lot of things (such as abilities/upgrades for your ship, better sound, more planets etc.) we didn’t get to and unfortunately we didn’t really have the time to play around much with spreading the planets out. Thanks for the feedback!

Resist and Persist by conrad123 2018-12-07T16:57:06Z

@jdelaay025johnd1788 I havent heard that one before, we can look in to it but I would check out your mousepad 😁

@chaosed0 yeah I definitely wanted to add some small explosions and similar effects to bullets but really didnt end up having the time. The last few hours before upload were chaos already 😂

Resist and Persist by conrad123 2018-12-09T02:31:35Z

@renegadepunisher @marvalgames @rumor @rodel77 @artur-hawkwing @evan-leibman @geckoo1337 @caseyh @grena

thank you all so much! Really appreciate the feedback. I definitely would have liked to put in a better death/game over animation but time was short 😂

If we developed more we would definitely add a twin stick controller option, but again; time was tight for this one.

Font definitely should be improved. We just tried to find something on the asset store that vaguely matched the retro style. We would make our own good font if we continued development.

Rumor, great idea! Being able to siphon shields from the planets would have been a great addition. (Maybe we'll add that later if we work more)

Definitely would like to add feedback for shooting enemies.

Thanks again all! Hopefully I didnt miss anything. Hope your journey through this ludum dare was as great as ours was.

(Edit: upgrades/more fire modes were also something we had in our original idea, but had to cut due to time restraints. But we'd add them for sure if we decided to finish this game.)

Triag'd by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2018-12-07T02:29:33Z

Fun game! I enjoyed trying to find a way to get everyone the best chance of survival. It would've been cool to have more to spend money on, as every time I just ended up upgrading my hospital and getting a new doctor. The humor was great, I loved the ailments you guys put in. Overall very nice game!

Fórnir by grena 2018-12-04T17:43:14Z

Great mood. There could have been some indication of the amount of nights that go by, but overall I thought it was a well polished and fun game.

PURITY by jantunes 2018-12-04T18:09:00Z

I definitely had trouble understanding how it worked, but overall looked great and had a nice ascetic

Screw them by RAC-Games 2018-12-07T02:42:51Z

Good game! Cows with lightsabers is my kind of humor :laughing: It was kind of annoying to not be able to rotate the camera, and because I couldn't really see in front of my player, I couldn't move forward. Music was great! Overall, it was en enjoyable game. Well done!

Sacrificial Love by Lazertrax 2018-12-04T03:49:55Z

Good game! Pretty hard, but I thought the concept was great and I had fun.

Castaways by DeadlyAlive 2018-12-07T02:59:45Z

Very well done! If you were to work on this more, I would say giving more action options (ie. Explore, craft, or something similar) and more upgrades. But for a jam, this game was fantastic.

Lava Luva by mcovert 2018-12-04T03:20:21Z

Good game! Short but sweet. I enjoyed!

Aztec Sacrifice by TouchMe 2018-12-04T17:58:29Z

I didn't know what to do.. I ended up running out of faith and dying because I had no way of getting it back. With more work, I think this could be a fun game but its not quite there.

Missing Parts by radow 2018-12-07T03:11:15Z

Well made! The graphics were nice and the gameplay was enjoyable. It didn't seem possible to complete, though I may have overseen something. Overall, well done! I enjoyed :wink:

Ember's Light by vDovah 2018-12-04T18:26:58Z

Great graphics, REALLY big file XD Loved the platforming, overall very nice game

Chiiip by LuCecyl 2018-12-04T17:48:06Z

Short but sweet, very funny, overall great game.

Throwing Shade by Casey Macneil 2018-12-04T03:32:27Z

Really tough. Great art and music! I didn't really see where the theme fit in, but overall great game.

LD46 — Keep it alive

BLIP! by Lucien Catonnet 2020-04-21T17:47:25Z

Puzzles were great. The graphics and sound really got you into the mood, and the difficulty felt good as well.

It would have been helpful to have an indication of which way the enemies would go when walking straight into a wall, but you could find that out by running it a few times.

Great job!

Needy Slime in a cozy house. by digitaldude555 2020-04-21T19:12:58Z

I can't interact with objects.

Let me know if you fix this! I would love to play.

Needy Slime in a cozy house. by digitaldude555 2020-04-21T19:16:50Z

@digitaldude555 I Assumed that I needed to click on either the coffee table or the bookshelf, but neither did anything. Are those the ones I should be clicking?

Needy Slime in a cozy house. by digitaldude555 2020-04-21T19:28:55Z

@digitaldude555 I think (for me) something is broken with the raycasting on the webgl builds. If you upload a downloadable version, I'm sure many more people will be able to get it working!

I love the graphics by the way, the slime is hilarious.

A Support's Burden by TomBuston 2020-04-21T19:35:46Z

Haha! Great game!

Graphics were great, matched the humor perfectly. sometimes dragging the planks was a little wonky, but it didn't effect gameplay all that much.

Well done! I liked it.

ORB by blaster391 2020-04-21T18:53:38Z

Good Work!

Movement feels a little floaty for my taste; It seemed like the player should have some sort of default attack that doesn't do much damage just to protect themselves a little

Graphics/sounds were great, I loved the lighting.

Overall well done! I liked it.

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T17:31:00Z

@fabien-parisot Merci! (Je ne parle pas beaucoup français, donc anglais:) Thank you! We had a great time making the game :)

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T17:31:28Z

@rebecca-harrison Haha! I had fun watching you try. Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T17:33:49Z

@lucien-catonnet Hahaha! Yes it is difficult. Unfortunately with the time restrictions we really had to rush level design which makes for a very difficult only level. If we continue work, we will assuredly work on the wonky physics happenings and make a more gradual difficulty curve.

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T19:20:18Z

@marccspro I'm glad! Yes, I had so much fun on sound design XD

(I'm sorry for my screams they can be quite annoying at times.)

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T19:21:28Z

@abaurens Thank you! HAHAHA "masterize" is my favorite new phrase. Yes! Domji did a fantastic job with the bottle.

We really appreciate it!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T19:22:25Z

@tybau @forging-foxes Thanks! Yeah, the controls are tough and definitely still have some kinks to work out ;)

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T19:22:43Z

@semihuller Haha thank you!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-21T19:24:53Z

@larsi Thanks!

Yeah we came across the camera troubles pretty late on monday, so unfortunately we didn't have time to make it as smooth as we wanted.

As the development progressed, we did in fact start calling the game "3D getting over it simulator".

I'm glad you enjoyed!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-22T15:54:13Z

@oneils Thanks!

Yeah, @incredibill did such a great job with the bookshelf, it ended up as the main element in our level! As far as difficulty: unfortunately we were very close to the deadline when we started level design, so we were not able to implement any kind of checkpoints or difficulty scaling. Just really hard really fast!

Thanks for playing :)

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-23T16:30:44Z

@kiririn51 Haha! I'm glad you had fun.

Thant's the hardest part! Once you get the cork down you're on a good road.

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-23T16:32:39Z

@chaosbrick Great feedback!

Yeah, there are definetely a few things that make the game's physics a little jank, which is unfortunate when your movement is based on physics!

I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-23T16:34:39Z

@sludgekey Yep! That's a level design thing.

We were short on time for that. We wanted to add a small intro cutscene to tell you where to go, but unfortunately it didnt make it into the game!

Thank you! We had fun making it :)

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-23T16:38:00Z

@skovtrolden

Art's on @domji! He pretty much directed the entire art for the game and did all of the shaders/materials.

I actually made all of the sounds (besides the music) myself, It was a really fun experience! I felt like a real live Foley artist XD

Yep! We got a lot of feedback on the jump being jank. Especially the speed on the bottle end-over-end vs. rolling side to side! It's definitely going to need some work :)

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-23T16:40:46Z

@gzuis Thanks!

Well done! The bookshelf is definitely where most of the difficulty lies. I wish we had had more time to work on the camera! I'm sorry you got lost.

I'm glad you made it there though, Most people don't get past the table!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-26T02:59:58Z

@ava-rae Thanks!

Yep! It's hard. We're working on fixing the jumping at the moment!

Glad you enjoyed!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-26T03:00:48Z

@aurel300 Haha! We had a fantastic time watching.

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-26T03:03:02Z

@nsr Haha! Yes we were very excited to add that one XD

Good idea! We'll add the option to kill the screaming guy onto our list.

Yeah! So far we've continued development and are still having a blast.

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-30T02:14:50Z

@julian-hartinger Thank you so much! Yeah that chair was unfortunately placed XD

As far as levels go, there is only one at the moment. There is some pretty rocking victory music though, thanks to @emrosie. There are a few ways to get there though, some harder than others!

Yep, the screaming XD we wanted a mute feature but time ran out! Sounds was fun to design though xD

Thanks for playing!

Motion Potion by Aphid98 2020-04-30T02:17:23Z

@remus-rain Thanks! Art direction mostly came from @incredibill and I not being artists, but It worked out quite well in my opinion.

Thanks for playing! We're glad you enjoyed :)

Zealotry by TevasLiutauras 2020-04-21T20:15:32Z

Cool game!

Sometimes the minions would get stuck on their way to my markers and not be able to move.

Graphics were neat! Reminded me of a 3D realm of the mad god.

Well done!

Dying Concerto by Johannimations 2020-04-21T20:03:24Z

Haha! This had me dying.

Music was definitely loud, and matched the in-your face style of the game. the camera perspective made it hard to see the orbs, but again the game lends itself to the "Win me you won't" style.

Well done!

Hack'n Dice by Fluffy_Kaeloky 2020-04-21T18:28:57Z

Great Game!

At times, I couldnt see all the sides of the dice I was choosing, so maybe some sort of click-and-drag rotation would be nice. Also I couldnt always see the dice when they landed on the ground.

LOVED the graphics, the drawn characters went surprisingly well with the 3d background.

Well done!

Ice Light by ThornDuck 2020-04-21T19:06:42Z

Fantastic Game!

The pixel art is slick and the music fits perfectly. At first I was a little confused by the throw indicators, I thought was chucking my jar everywhere, but I figured it out. The mechanics felt good, maybe differentiate the types of buttons a little more? I didn't know which ones were one hit and which ones were hold.

This is just feedback. As it is, the game is great! Really well done.

to Leave by 5imon 2020-04-21T18:07:40Z

Really cool concept! The Graphics were great, and the musical elements were well made.

Unfortunately, I really didn't understand how to complete each level and after a bit of messing around found out you could just play all of the sounds then turn them all off to complete it. With some proper tips and maybe a tutorial, could be a really well made game!

Good job

Who did you meet ? by Fabien Parisot 2020-04-21T17:28:57Z

Really cool game! The art was fantastic (alas unity pixel perfect), I was a little confused on my first play through of what to do, maybe just because I didn't read the instructions thoroughly enough!

Great Job!

St. Hestia by Endymion 2020-04-21T19:36:02Z

Sweet game!

I wouldve liked a bit of camera rotation and possibly a hud element so I could find the fire on the first level, I nearly got lost a few times. Camera rotation would've also helped with seeing the logs, as the trees could get in the way sometimes.

Well Done!
