Liked the game and it seems by the name of the downloaded file that you intend to work on it so here is my review: First and foremost I like to say that I really like the concept of the game.
The combat: this is my biggest problem, it is almost impossible to hit the enemy ships. The asteroids and debris killed more ships than I ever did. I think this can easily be solved by increasing the fire-rate and speed of the projectiles. I would also increase the number of enemies while decreasing their fire rate. It will give the play much more to do and will be more fun.
Trade system: Pretty basic but a good starting point. Liked having to decide between the price i could sell it at and the distance I could travel. But think about maybe adding a shield that can take just 1 hit to give people a bit more leeway.
Great game and I want to see it more developed.
Note: the music resets when you go from the buying menu to the path selection menu. Its kinda annoying. a way of returning to the buying menu from the path selection would also be great.
Thanks so much for the comment we have just released a post jam version that has target locking built into your ship allowing you to land hits on enemies you want to and we evolved the market system a tiny bit
Totally awesome. Feels kinda other space games similar to this, like Galaxy on Fire or Star Wars or something, but it doesn't matter when the game's so great!

Has a nice atmosphere. Reminds me a lot of star fox which is cool and it's fun to avoid these ships shooting at me and the craters. I find it kinda weird that the crosshair wants to go back in the middle all the time and I have to kind of battle it out, but idk. And the ships movement could be a bit faster in my opinion. But overall this has some nice graphics, UI and the game feels really nice!

Looks great, some really high quality effects here, the lock on system made it far too difficult to kill enemies though, so I just dodged everything.
I think the game pacing is a bit too slow, I didn't finish it because I think it would take a really long time to save up and each level is basically the same.

It looks cool, remind me of freelancer. However 1. The idea that "Life is Currency" is a little farfetched 2. Combat system is not that interesting, simply a 3D barrage game Wish it could be better :)

Like your game, especially the visual component.Reminded me of the good old days when I spent a lot of time playing Galaxy on Fire/Freelancer. But combat mechanics could use some polish. Keep it up!
Super impressive in the time, good job :)
Good job, it is a nice game to play.

Really promising and impressive for a game jam. Lack of fun for me because it's really hard to shot enemies and I can't survive enough to make good profits and buy upgrades. I'm interested for new releases

Very starfox/kingdom hearts gummi ship. I like the customisation. Visuals are consistent along with the audio. Difficult and somewhat slow to start. Good job!

It looks really good and has good audio but I wasn't able to hit the enemies, the pace was a bit slow and it was like nothing was happening. Not sure if you had to slow down everything in order to make upgrades worth the investment but the first impression wasn't the best for an action game (I suppose). I played with a gamepad and with the keyboard just in case it was the controller the reason I couldn't hit the enemies but failed with both.

What you can improve: * stop showing tutorial when you restart after joining the first station * differentiate shot and move in space shooter part
I really like this concept! The audio and graphics really work together well and the overall atmosphere is great. I do agree that the combat was a bit rough and I couldn't land a shot to save my life, but if that got reworked a little bit I could see myself sinking hours into this game. Good work!

Great game...twin of my lol! I like all in this game, this graphics! Congrats!
We have heard your excellent feedback! The new post jam version no longer has repeating tutorials. The shooting of your ship has been redesigned it is now much easier to aim, you can fire both a rapid fire cannon or you can hold the right mouse button to lock on to enemies. (the game also is not so brutal at the start)

Love the gameplay idea and the graphics, but I too found the combat to be a little difficult and it felt a bit random. I think it needs a bit of fine tuning, but other than that it's a solid game.
It sounds like most of my complaints about this are things that others have brought up or are already fixed in the post-compo version. That being said, I really like the Star Fox-style combat and the upgrade system (although I couldn't make it far enough to really feel an impact). The art and sound were solid. I wanted to hear more of some of the music tracks, which is a good thing.
I like how this game turned out, but if the original shooting was made easier I would rate this higher. Good entry.

I don't think I hit a single ship with my weapons. Everything was really well done, and with a little bit more time on those controls and I would have been playing longer. Good entry overall!

Very nice graphics and user interfaces. I like space shooters a lot. Just the orientation in the space ("tunnel" to the station) is very difficult. It is a bit better in the 0.13 update. Also the sounds are good (a pity you opted out). Good job finishing this :)
we pulled in good riffs from the internet and we didnt wanna take the place of people who took the time to build their own music
