Great job, man! One of my favorite! :)
Simply the best game of this compo
Best game I've seen in the compo yet.
Nice job. Loved the idea within the theme. :D
Brilliant all around!
I'm see that you were expecting the "Self-Replication" theme to win. ;) Fun game.
That's a good game! The idea was interesting and has been well executed, the graphics are nice (toilets :D ) and the sounds are good, and there's even a background music! kevglass' journal is well filled, cool! That's an outstanding entry!
Just admit it, you started working on a self-replication game in advance, then changed the graphics when the theme turned out to be "escape" instead. :y
Tsk tsk.
Really well thought out levels, challenging!
Devious puzzles! This is definitely one of my faves so far. And probably the one that's kept me playing longest.
One of the best I've tried so far...
It is clear that you were anticipating self replication as a theme, but it does work as a block pushing puzzle game to escape jail.
Otherwise a nice game.
FWIW, I didn't read the themes or come up with the idea until the announcement of the final theme. I guess self replication was just on my mind having read the top few themes.
Great job! I played this a bit earlier but wanted to actually finish the game before I scored it. Definitely fits the theme, and is a nice balance of fun and challenging. It took me a moment to figure out the cloning ability, but once I did it was definitely great. Reminded me a bit of Lolo to be honest. Great game!
Great work with the game, nice graphics. Sadly I couldn't hear any sounds on Linux :(
I love the timelapse :P
Nice audio. Quite challenging. The character sprite doesn't really stand in middle of tile, which makes it weird when looking at tile lines.
Quite a few entries using this dual-avatar movement mechanism. This one's had the best aesthetic so far, but I'm not sure if I prefer the static movement to the one where you can push the replicant around by bumping into walls.
Still, a solid effort and nice graphics.
very nice job! interesting mechanic, though i had a little trouble controlling at first (sometimes when i pressed up he would continuously move forward)
I could have used some instructions ("press space to replicate" isn't enough). Other than that, this is one of the best entries. Also appreciated having the source code, as I used Slick for my entry as well!
Very nice, I have seen the exact same concept used before but it's a nice implementation and the levels are good.
