Despite my best efforts, I could not attack anything, neither with X nor with any other flipping button. The game looked nice and smooth, the weapons (balloon, sausage, and rock) looked unconventional, well at least in the UI. The zombies ate my brains and all I could do was just stand there, look them in the dead eye, hitting X without any effect. But the graphics were nice and the framerate at a steady 60fps, SHIFT being the only key input that worked for me :)
Press X while you are near zombie. You hurt them. Just there is no sign of this.
There is a result but not visible
Well there are a few bugs: You can trap enemies behind corners and just keep killing them without getting hurt. (At least with the brendy and sausage). Also there seems to be some kind of lag/stutter sometimes, when new zombies are created?
So could use some work but a fun small game.
Agreed, it's not really clear when you attack and damage the enemies. Otherwise it was smooth, I did have mini-freezes but nothing game breaking.
I unfortunetely can't play this, because I get the error "A java exception occured".
Liked the overall simplicity and starkness of the graphics and layout. Movement was smooth and the animation was minimalist but effective. The core game mechanic suffers from no visual feedback as to your effectiveness. Maybe the zombies could flash white or red when you are hurting them. Something visual to let the player know they are accomplishing something. Good effort!
Not too bad.
Needs some improvements to be a great game.
"A java exception occured" means that you need Java 8
Sorry, but in the end I run out of time
Feedback for the attack would be nice.
The best part of the game is the title screen music.
Gameplay wise there's nothing new or interesting.
There are various control and gameplay bugs in the game that i suggest to fix for a post-compo version.
The control seems a bit unresponsive, when a zombie die the game stutter for some seconds, the zombie get stuck on walls very easily.
nice, but boring
Super Game! I love it ;) Thanks
Can't kill any zombie
