Cool art, but not a lot to do and while using cleaner as a weapon could be a good idea, it's functionally the same as using a gun.
Looks like an interesting idea but I have absolutely no idea how to play this.
Backing away while shooting at enemies isn't all that fun, really. Surely given the theme of 'unconventional weapon' something could have been done about the weapon being an extremely conventional gun.
Great game!
Not really feeling the theme - sure, it's a 'penis laser', but it's really just a laser. Not a bad game though.
Really good, but yeah - controls are a bit painful, especially at that endless climb level, where I think I'll call it quits.
There's a good idea here, but I have no idea how to achieve anything.
Good idea for the theme. The game's a bit shoddy, but I guess you knew that :) Really need to fix the music bug though - I think that's one of the things it would be fine to fix after the end of the compo.
Cool game, but it either has some performance issues or the movement is just really dodgy? Much too floaty, and the last(?) level bugged out completely and all the documents fell through the floor.
Having to collect your hat is a great mechanic though.
Graphics and audio are great, but progression being dependent on whether or not the helicopter randomly hits the blocks you need it to doesn't work well. I guess it fits the mood that your fate is completely up to someone else, but I wasn't able to progress very far and when I did it wasn't anything I did that made it happen.
While I'm not sure, if you're getting the MSVCP120.dll error you might need this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=40784
Thanks for the comments, everyone.
It's clearly not finished, but it's a cool idea.
Would probably be better as a multiplayer game. Very impressive though.
I did need to tell my graphics card to run it. The integrated intel rubbish can't handle the lines, apparently. Also, the first time I played nothing happened when I got over $50, but the second time it worked.
Anyway, good stuff. I hope you expand it.
@Furfel The HTML5 export for Haxeflixel isn't great, unfortunately. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it was unplayably laggy.
@ubershmekel Using up/down to tilt made more sense to me, I guess because I started the rocket out on its side. There are levels - it just changes how fast the aliens retract their harpoons, health of the whale, and how much time you have. The world needs more lunar lander games :)
It's interesting, but doesn't really feel like an entry to the competition. It would be neat to be able to export/record the sounds - it could make for a good audio generator for moody games in a game-jam down the line.
Not a huge tower defence fan, but this was really fun.
The kittens are nice - couldn't tell if there's an actual game here or not though. Is there anything to achieve/do besides move?
I didn't get very far because the flash version has serious performance issues, but it looks very cool.
Really, really good - but pretty rage inducing at the higher levels. Is it a good or bad thing if you hope there are no more levels but keep going through them anyway?
The learning curve is steep. I didn't realise it was teleporting for a while and thought you were meant to be sliding through the gaps. My highscore is 144 :)
Great game - very hard. Some of the spike hitboxes didn't seem quite right and sometimes the player can get stuck when triple jumping, but otherwise excellent stuff. Is the impassable-looking spike-field the end of the game though?
