I think the one thing i would have liked is a one screen prompt teaching you how to play the game instead of having to read the description, other then that i enjoyed the game quite a bit.

Hey! from what i saw only W was doing anything in the game , it would have been nice to see why the other keys I was doing weren't doing anything like an error message of sorts saying : "You cant perform this because: "Insert Error Here", it made it very hard to know what i was doing so I ended up just spamming W whenever I could to try to keep the bar up, I like what you were going or though.
Hey, I liked the idea but the involvement of whatever you were keeping alive was low, maybe if the egg actually gave you some kind of ability it would have solidified your theme, I feel into this trap too when making my game its more something to watch out for the next time or if you update your game.
Also maybe make the cursor hidden so I cant really see it :) The overall difficulty of the game made it less enjoyable maybe if the enemies were shooting back it would make the game a lot more fun.
You nailed the mood though I liked everything about the esthetics and the dialog was great.
I liked the way i constantly had to keep the ship alive i died right away at first becuase I didnt know I had to keep it alive by also using the mouse xD
@saltfactory-studio Hey! thank you so much, everything but the audio was done from scratch xD we actually used a existing track we had bought, we were surprised by how well it fit the game.
@blabberf To be completely honest there was a time constraint we would have liked to introduce checkpoint but due to time that was the first feature we had to scrap.
@no-grapes-games we were going to make it so if the egg got hit it would die too and have more meaningful levels with the egg at its center ( for example areas that are covered in ice where you have to use the torches to make sure it stays warm to get it through to the end) but we ended up having to cut that out after some hiccups same with the checkpoints we were going to introduce a half point checkpoint but didn't have time to implement that either. Thank you so much for your feedback its super appreciated and will keep that in mind going forward if we decide to keep exploring this idea and make it into a full release.

@Aik Its beatable but the levels are overturned due to time constraints of the jam a lot of the levels were still being tweaked up until the final hour of the jam while putting all the art in. We will probably update it and definitely fix the spike hitboxes :)
