Dude, this is really good! If I were to make one request, I sort of wish the bullets didn't take as much health away, but you've done an amazing job!
Thanks for the feedback! I just added an assist mode on the itch.io webpage where your gun does half as much damage to you. If you're having trouble with the main game, consider downloading the assist version! Have fun!
This is pretty fun, and the simplistic visual style looks good. Great use of sacrifices must be made. Only issue I might have is the quick movement, but that might just take time to get used to.

I really liked the visuals in this game. Nice work on them. I like your take on the theme, where each shot you take is a sacrifice. I would have liked a cursor reticle as aiming was pretty tricky and movement was really fast, almost too fast. Overall though, great job.

My first thought was "oh, this idea again", but this is actually done really well! It's great that you have to pick up the health after they die, gives it a real risk-management feel. This could definitely be taken further, great job!
I wish I could see how many shots left until I dead. Or you could show the hp bar on the gun itself! Endless mode is kinda provocative, but it was super-fun overall. :smiley: Every shot matters.

I really like the idea of this game and it fits nicely with the theme. My only gripe is the movement and mouse look. I could be wrong but I think your code does not take frame differences into account, I got different mouse movement behaviors when I changed the graphics settings. To help this you can multiply your movement speed by Time.deltaTime. Other than that I really enjoyed the game.
It's very clean and dynamic. You've got a great idea. It could be a real mechanic in a fps that exceed a gamejam

Awesome game. I loved the animations and sound effects. I hate minecraft graphics but your graphics were more polished and more of a lowpoly instead of minecrafty. Great job and keep it up! :) I spent more time on your game than I was expecting :D
Ghostly Dev, if you see this, the movement is all calculated in FixedUpdate(), and the mouse movement is multiplied by Time.deltaTime... I think you got a strange bug :D Oh well, you can still adjust mouse sensitivity through the game settings.
Great idea! Only geniuses would think of an idea where you sacrifice health to shoot. Also we have the same idea or concept lol! Great minds think alike. It makes the gameplay more strategic and players become even more careful when shooting. If only the enemies were not just cubes though, they look so much like the ground lol

Hey, pretty cool one! Best one I've played so far. Lots of polish, you achieved a lot with so little. Cool animations, nice cartoony look and these little cubes' movement haha!
Movement could use a some tweaking, I experienced the twitchy mouse behaviour as well. Great job!
I played through it without knowing that right click is iron sights, was quite a challenge. Very nicely done, though I think things like slow enemies and health pickup speed kind of took away from the "fast pace" of the game. Graphics are simple and elegant, but the grass might be too saturated. The gun is very satisfying, something only a few entries demonstrate properly. There's something about obliterating a tiny green cube with such a powerful pistol, that brings so much joy to me. Great game.
