Very good use of the theme. I love the art style and the sound effects. The 2D art style on a 3D plane works really well here. Very fun game for a game jam.

Just finished doing my best to beat it. I got to where I had sacrificed 3 of my abilities but it was too much. This is a very well done game. I had a lot of fun playing it and kept wanting to come back and do better. I agree that a score system would be nice. And a longer delay on the next wave of enemies. I would also add another indicator of taking damage, sometimes I was standing on a bat, taking damage and didn't even notice. But other than those gripes, this is a solid game.
This is pretty fun, and the simplistic visual style looks good. Great use of sacrifices must be made. Only issue I might have is the quick movement, but that might just take time to get used to.
@frenchie Thanks for playing and rating my game!
I appreciate you taking the time to give constructive criticism.
- Yea sorry about the difficulty, I ended up making most of the levels in the last few hours so I didn't have a lot of time for balance. Hence, one room with no pits, and the final room being just armies of zombies. This is also why the bow is so weak. I only tested it on the first few rooms. - You're right about the invulnerability, that really slipped my mind. - Will definitely make changes on the bombs, especially increasing damage. The inconsistency comes from a bug where the bomb stops when it collides with the player. I noticed this after submission.
Thanks again, if I finish the game I'll be sure to make the changes you requested, and work on getting an HTML build working.
@frenchie Hey I'm just now seeing this. Yea, if you could open a pull request that'd be great. I appreciate you taking the time to make some improvements on my game. It's really weird seeing someone else talking about and working on something I made. I'll probably be tuning into some of your other streams.
Just finished the game. I like that this is more of a puzzle game. One criticism I have is how spaced out the tiles are. It was pretty awkward to get used to. And it seems like the gold doesn't really matter, a counter or score for that would be nice. Other than that, pretty good entry.
