Very interesting idea. Had to play around quite a bit to find the right numbers. In the end I beat the game in about 20mins. 5 of which where at the very start not understanding how to jump because command filters where **case sensitive**, I was very confused why none of my commands worked. Wish you would have explored the idea of going back to console to change the game a bit more. If speed and jumping height would have been separate parameters, you could have made some parts where you need to jump very high and others where you need to go fast, forcing the player to use the console more. Overall innovative idea, good graphics(even though I had to turn them off :D), good sound.
Thanks you both for the constructive comments ! As we had a lot of fun building this game, we're going to keep working on it on our side, so you're really helping us improving the feeling of the game (and more specifically of the console !)
We are of course adding more commands to the console, and obstacles to go with !
@alier-qiu That is definitely a feature we'll be adding to next iteration of the game, thank you !
@vizitas You are absolutly right about speed and jumping height : that's what we wanted to do with the mobility and the gravity commands, but we missed the mark there. We'll need to rework those commands.
Game is a little confusing and not very intuitive but interesting and fun to muck around with never the less. I might recommend having commands not be case sensitive and also allowing you to use  and  to use previous commands. I was also a little stuck as there was no display as to how much power each task used, perhaps instead of saying you don't have enough power it tells you how much you need? Any way, has lots of potential good luck!
Awesome idea and execution. There are some confusing elements, but you can figure them out quite fast. The one that got me too much to figure - you have to type number in percents in taskset command, not number of mhz.
Nice idea! I really like the vision in the computer and that you have to manage many windows. It's very original and uncommon as a game ! Great job !
Neat concept, I really like your interpretation. Can't wait to see your next, I hope as creative, entries!
Cool and original idea. What I was missing from the CONSOLE is hit TAB to complete. And I think that commands shouldn't be case sensitive as it doesn't add anything to the game when you accidentally write a command in lower case and it doesn't do anything. Another thing, a little tutorial would help to get into the game faster.
Good job overall.
Fresh and unusual mechanics! But it was hard for me to understand what was happening. I think you should make the console more friendly to the player. Anyway, it was intresting expirience =)
I both agree and disagree with Vizitas. I think the idea is pretty cool and you certainly did an amazing job cramming this into the jam/game itself. But using the console too much could get tedious so you don't want to go overboard there. The effort you put into the art/music is also incredible, seems like you have a decently veteran team. Not only was the command console fun but you also went ahead and modeled the old win95 stuff as well. Nice job.
That was tough. Very cool concept though and it really looked like Windows 98. I think you probably should've had some leeway as to how problems could be solved, because it was extremely difficult. But all in all it was well put together and really cool.
Great game with nice concept!
An history of commands I've wrote would be nice (with up key).
Also, once you type 'help' in the terminal, you can't open the Begin menu again.
Great concept! I think terminal could be more user friendly and intuitive. I feel a lack of tutorial, and maybe you could work on the controls and the physics, it should be more polished. Anyway it is a good game. Good job!
Very funny concept, but the balance made the experience frustrating. It seems you're on a very tight schedule once you start playing with gravity, and that restrict the experimentation. I know the game is suppose to have some challenge, I understand the good joke buuuut I couldn't manage to try until the end.
Don't get me wrong, I still believe it's an amazing idea and lots of work and I congratulate you for that, I was just not in the mood to try hard.
