Great simple game! Of course, there are some minor improvements that could be made but for a compo game it is really nice!

I really like this game. I saw it early on on twitter and now I'm finally getting around to playing the game =) The graphics are great and the music is nice as well and doesn't get annoying after playing for a while. I like the mechanics of the game as well but I have to admit, I would have been helpless without the walkthrough. Without it I hadn't figured out that you can combine items by stacking them.
I finally got around to playing and I really like the game! The graphics look nice and the gameplay is fun. I agree with everyone that a replay button would be nice but the game remembered my highscore even after reloading the page, that was neat!
You game looks really nice and I like the fact that you incorporated two languages. The controls seemed a little lagy to me but I like the idea behind the game.
I enjoyed playing your game and managed to win at my second try. I like how the game reacts to everything you do and keeps you challenged. It also fit the theme really well!
I liked the newspaper as feedback mechanism but the font seemed kind of blurry to me.
I tried several times but wasn't able to win =( It's nice a nice little game but could be tweaked a little. For starters, a restart button would have been really nice!
This is my new favourite entry I think! The tutorial is really good and I love your graphics, simple style but great details like the moving eyes. I also enjoyed the music (but I think at one point it got suddenly a little louder?) and the difficulty curve. I made 13 launches, and blocked 19 asteroids in 94 seconds during my first try.
The best I did was eating three food thingies at once. It's a nice idea but as others have said, a few more features would have been nice. Music and overall atmosphere worked really well!
I love your backstory and the look of the game! Sadly I am really really bad at the game 😅
This entry reminded me of ResistJam, would have been a good fit there as well. Your art and music is great and I also like the idea of the game. Played through to the end but sometimes it was a bit frustrating that you had to wait some days to be able to switch the job or to wait for the right day on which the paths would cross. I agree with the suggestion that an option to skip days would have been nice.
I really like your intro even if it is not as interactive as you planned it to be. While it is quite long that didn't really bother me. Sadly I wasn't able to collect all 200 people even in this easier version. Would be interesting to see what you had planned with different levels.
One of the few games I've seen that doesn't use Unity, Unreal or any of the other popular engines. Nice to see something a little different =) Have to agree that the audio is a bit too loud but otherwise really nice. Solid entry!
Your game looks amazing! The only thing that bugs me is the bread(?) are the green blobs supposed to be mold? Or is it even bread? Kind of stands out against all the other well made models. The game itself is fun and has a nice difficulty curve.
I really enjoyed the story of your game but I have to agree with everyone else: checkpoints would have been nice. Like most of the other commenters I gave up during level 3 which is a real pitty since I enjoyed the story and would love to know how it ends. I also noticed that during the first cut scene you use a different font than in the intro and the second cut scene.
I agree with torcado. It's a fun idea but the fly should either be a little faster or the swatter a little smaller. My best score was 366 but I only achieved that with sitting down for a second and flying away before the swatter was in sight. However, I like the SFX and the fact that the game shows both your current score and your best score.
I only saw your tutorial video after playing so at first I didn't really know what to do and reading the instructions while cooking was too slow so I restarted once I got what to do. Finished the game during that second try. I really loved the soundeffects, did you record the "zzzsch" yourself? =) I enjoyed the different kinds of meat and their different timing but the game still has some bugs. One time my fish fell through the grid also on Itch, if you don't play in fullscreen mode, you don't see all of the screen. Maybe consider playing with the settings on Itch, that usually helps =)
I like the idea of falling platforms but unfortunately I'm really bad at it 🙈 I never managed to get higher than 2 or 3 whales.
Wow, this is such a beautiful game! The gameplay might be basic but the mechanics are quite nice and I would definitly play this for a longer amount of time if there were more "levels". The soundtrack is amazing, as well. If you enjoyed working on this, you should consider devolping it further!
I guess this is a fun game in theory but I could not get used to the controlls, they seem a little unituitive to me. The first level was quite easy but I couldn't manage to beat the second one. Even after I realized the second weapon type I couldn't time my weapons right to get all three points without dying first. Maybe the player could have a little more health? And I guess it would really help to get the players attention to the second weapon once it becomes available.
Congrats, this is a great entry for your first compo! On my first try I made it with 1 second left and lots of damage. The second run through was a little better with 11 seconds left. I did break the giants toe during the second try though. I was standing on a building and the big toe left the rest of the foot for some seconds. The music got a bit repetetive but I think that's the case for a lot of games during LD (ours as well^^).
Really nice game! I love the face that the mechanics for the menu is the same as for the game! Your levels are really good and I really like the sound effect when the little earth hit's its target and is moved to the center of it's place. The animation for that is also really nice. All in all a great little game! I would love to play more levels like this! One thing I was missing was the information which level I was currently playing, maybe you could add that to the UI
It looks really good but I could not really control my character. With a little bit of work and your win state implemented this could be a really nice game, though.
This was fun to play even though I never had a perfect run. Best was 7 tribes, 8 population. I really like the speech bubbles and interactions between the tribes!
I really enjoyed playing this! It looks good, sounds good and also feels good. I'm not sure how far along in the game I was, I died because of my stomach when I was supposed to get rid of the cocktail in my liver. While doing that most of my little bloodcells got stuck and since I wasn't sure if I needed them all I spent some time getting them to follow me again.
I think this would make a great educational game for kids learning about the human body!
Your art is really awesome and I like the idea of following the smell as well! There seems to be a problem with using the arrow keys in Firefox, game won't start there, work's perfect in Chrome, though.
Super cute graphics! Due to the locked weapon I often had trouble hitting the chicken and lost some bunnys because of it but I managed to beat the final wave anyway =)
I finally made it through the first day =) I enjoyed this game although it took me some time to get used to the rotation and adjusting it's speed. It's indeed something I could imagine on steam one day.
Really fun game. So far the one I spent the most time with. I haven't managed to win yet but I chances are good that I'll come back and try again! I agree with everyone else, feedback on the egglaying would have been nice.
Fun little game! I saved earth twice =) Those UFOs really want to destroy earth at the end 😅 Maybe you could have the continents on earth move a little over time since you start so many years ago and they used to have different positions.
I always died because of the baobabs. Somehow I always missed one at one point in the game. The game is really fun but the volcanoes could have used some visual feedback . Sometimes I cleaned one that was already 5/5 when I could have done something else in that time.
I made it to 2:17. Got flipped over twice and died just when I tried distracting the dog for the first time. Car could have moved a little faster for my taste. But fun little game!

I think the idea has great potential and I was really excited after reading your text. However, playing it, it's obvious that you couldn't finish all your ideas. The zooming made it really hard to play and I always got the gameover screen a bit before actually crossing the finish line which made me think I maybe failed because I hit to many cars or something. If you keep working on your game I'm sure it could be a lot of fun.

The concept of combining a tower defense game with this kind of puzzle is really neat. I have to agree with the other comments, the pace could have been a little quicker. It would have been nice to be able to get a little bit more control maybe by collecting and using some powerups. This way it felt a bit like if you made one not so good choice with the path, you had no chance to win. Of course that is kind of the point of a puzzle but combined with the slow pace it was a little annoying. But I did like your art so I didn't mind looking at it while waiting for the wave to finish =)
