Get Baked! by Budaniel 2018-04-26T18:40:54Z
Liked the humor, and the art wasn't too bad! The controls were a little hard to use though, my mouse sensitivity was very low and it was hard to turn to face the gingerbread men. Funny though!

I didn't get to play with a friend, but solo worked pretty well! I wish that if the ball hits the ship, it would just bounce off instead of killing the player. Also, it might be because I'm in the US, but the controls were a little weird for me. I'm used to WASD for movement, would be useful to be able to switch those keybindings in an option menu. Overall, I though the mood was great, the game played well, and it was fun!
Cool! Gets a little creepy there... ha! The art style and gameplay are great, good work!
This was enjoyed by me.
I liked this! I think the concept is pretty cool, it'd be cool to see the ability to combine foods into a meal that's more powerful than the fruit by itself. I thought the art stayed consistent in style and looked nice, but although the movement was smooth, it did get a little glitchy here and there. Just could use a little better collisions detection. Overall, I liked it!
Thanks @Detobel36 for playing and leaving feedback! Yes, the camera zooming was a remnant of the original game mechanic where you would be moving the food truck worker around the inside of the truck to gather ingredients to make the hot dogs, but sadly that never came to fruition. I realize it leaves something to be desired with the current gameplay... :)
@Holystride I tried to combine racing and a food truck simulator (like Overcooked). I obviously didn't get very far with that second genre, but you're reading my mind in terms of what I wanted to it to become! You can read more about what I wanted on this post mortem blog post: http://www.midnighttangent.com/blog/2018/04/ludum-41-books/
@LeFayGames Thanks for the feedback! Yes, there is a lot that I didn't get the chance to work on, but I enjoyed the process and look forward to better things! :)
Cool! I love the art, and the game plays well, but I guess I'm just not very good! I died lots of times! Overll, great job!
This was pretty good. The driving was nice and smooth. I could have appreciated a map and more delineation between the weapons so I know what weapon/ammo I was picking up and using. I ended up placing 3rd after falling of a cliff looking for the other cars! fun!
When I started the game, it felt really cool to explore the area. I see that the first release version was buggy - I couldn't get the shotgun to plant the seeds, but playing the bug-fix version I was able to plant seeds. The slowing growing animations for the plants was fun to watch! The controls (E for everything) were a little weird, and I would prefer to use E (or action button) to climb the ladder instead of automatically going up. Also wish I could carry the shotgun and the pistol with me at the same time! Overall, it was fun, just needs a little polish!
This was fun! It was satisfying to grab all those coins, and the physics let me jump and do rail grinds on the fences! I even enjoyed trying to get lots of speed and clear big gaps with a well timed jump! Obviously the game could use a little polish, but the only other thing that bugged me was that you couldn't back up! Great job!
This was awesome. You did a great job of getting your kid's drawings into the game and looking great! I am inspired to do the same with my kids now!
Hey, I didn't know how I was going to feel about the game when I booted it up, but I very much appreciate the game you made! The gameplay gets a little repetitive, but it is fun at its core!
