This is a very nice entry, the mechanic is pretty smart, and I love the level design. Very solid entry <3

Really enjoyed it! I like this genre a lot. Did you consider making the camera rotate with the player instead of being static?
The game is very nice but when i drill too long it just goes below zero and nothing happens.
Wow, great game. The driving and drilling feel great. The sprite animation, level and track marks are spot on. It's a crying shame that you didn't get around to audio or a proper win state. I think an interesting extension to this would be to allow the player to speed up so that they can balance their risk/reward. Reminded me a little of some of the maps in Grip.
Great game! I really liked the art style of the character. I think it could use a bit more variation on obstacle layouts, but otherwise it was well polished and fun to play.
I love the graphics of your game ! The game is fun but too easy, even if the infinit mode is challenging I think that the player have to much health.. Good job BTW I love your game it wwould be very nice to see some higher difficulty !
Very nice! Graphics are really good, and a nice concept. Some music on this would lift it a lot as well!
It is too easy though, I think with the speed that the game has (before the speed up during infinite sequence at the end) it would be more fun without the hull concept and instant fail on collision. Now you just cruise through the levels without a real challenge.
Thanks for the comments everyone, As a small developper insight here's why it's like this right now : - The difficulty hasn't really been tested, I didn't had time to both create patterns balance the different stages, with more stages I hoped I would have been able to ramp it correctly but yeah, time... - Drilling actually had no use for 1.5d of development, I just loved it so much I didn't realize it served no purpose until the end ^^ - I added last minute a "No death" cheats for the curious on the "C" key ^^
Thank you very much for your entry - I hope you had great fun making it
Easy to pick up and understand - nice and polished and good take on the theme :thumbsup_tone1:
I hope you'll drop by mine and give it a spin

Pretty polished core mechanic, the gameplay feels really smooth and engaging. The art style is also nice and looks like an interesting mix of 2d and 3d graphics
Fun little game! I really liked how the controls felt - a lot of 'weight' behind the movement. Only complaint is one of the patterns, I didn't feel like I could ever hit the gap between rocks just right. Overall, great work!
Art style was really cool and unique. I wish the controls were a tad bit tighter. Still had fun and thought this was a nice work!
Super fun, one of my favorite entries, I abselutely love it. I understand the momentum thing is part of the game, and its meant to be like that, but maybe make it more sutle. overall I abselutely love it, an instant 5-starer
Cool concept. Quite fun getting deeper into the earth. Fits the theme really well. Gets quite difficult really fast, but I like the challenge. The animation of the vehicle is great.
This game looks fantastic and I really like the mechanics and the concept, even if I have seen similar kinds of games before. Unfortunately, I really was not a fan of the controls though, the curve for speed just felt *really* weird. It felt like I was always either turning too slow or too fast, there was no in-between. I think that those controls could be tightened up a bit so that it's a bit more fun to play with... I think what I'd suggest in a game like this would be to encourage tapping on the buttons to turn at a controllable speed rather than being super start-stoppy, you know?
Oh, and I see you've been doing post-LD development, if you're still doing that I'd also love to see more kinds of things you could run into, or potentially more actions to perform? Just something more to chew on so that the whole game isn't just the movement that I don't currently like :stuck_out_tongue: I feel like sounds would also do wonders for this game, if you get to it at some point!
I liked this! Yeah really missed an ending and... sound! :( But I had fun, I like these kind of games. Controls could be more direkt sometimes I had the feeling I wasn't able to do a particular action despite it should have been possible in my mind.
Nice I like the design and animation of the drilling guy. Really could use audio though.
