The pixel art for the reactors was very well done!

The pixel art for the reactors was very well done!
Nice look and interesting puzzle mechanic. A solid entry for sure. Admittedly it made my brain hurt on some levels
Mood and atmosphere was awesomely zen. I did glitch out side the play boundary but I just looped in the black abyss enjoying the music haha
Awesome music and great tying the synth aesthetic all together. I wish the car itself moved a bit faster. Overall I dug the vibe.
Art is great! I feel like the hitboxes on the little aliens was a bit off. With more time and polish and maybe some more complex levels this could be really cool. Solid entry that you should be proud of for 48 hours.
Art is incredibly charming, especially when combined with the song. Makes for a nice mood and atmosphere for the game. Maybe I didn't understand the computer mechanic all the way, but I wish you could type or pick lines of code to manipulate how the game is played. Maybe this is the direction you were going before you had to leave to get tested. Hope you are well! Impressive game for the time you had!
The music loop is a vibe. Mechanic is interesting and fun. Some spaceship sprites could really improve the game.
I laughed when someone said "wait didn't you stab me?" haha. Music was great, puzzles were challenging. I do wish that movement and interaction were different inputs. I feel like things would have felt smoother if you move with keys and clicked to interact.
This fits the theme in such a smart way! Dialogue was great and funny, but also very real feeling. Gives you that uncomfortable feeling when having a difficult discussion.
@firegamer3 Pokemon Ranger was the inspiration! Thanks for Playing!
@indivicivet Thanks for playing! jank graphics is the peak of my pixel art skills right now haha
Damn that is a good looking Ferris wheel! I would maybe add some kind of indicator as to which direction the hazards are coming from. Sometimes they can pop up on you and you don't see them coming. Also I think it might help to have some kind of collectible so that the player is incentivized to be moving around more.
The music was great! I wish the bullets shot where the mouse was instead of 8 directional. The simplistic art style is nice too. Well done for your first Ludum Dare!
Fit the theme well and the graphics are charming in the retro style way. Puzzle games aren't my strong suit so I didn't make it very far haha
Imaginative idea and funny writing. Gameplay is pretty simple but I almost feel like that's the point from a story standpoint. It was a charming experience for sure.
Like others have said this game is chaotic, and in the chaos can have moments of fun. I wish the UI was a little bit easier to read. I think it would have been helpful to have icons for each characters profession above their head. Interesting project and not an idea I would have expected so nice job!
Interesting mechanic that elevates the games frantic pace. The hallway level with lots of enemies is very difficult, and is as far as I could get. I wish the menu system could be brought up and sent away with a key press like "space". Something about my brain makes it confusing to have all of the responsibilities on one hand. I guess it makes sense within the context of the game (only having one hand) but in this case I think it makes the menu system slightly clunky. Other than that subjective critique I thought it was a well done entry.
Art style was really cool and unique. I wish the controls were a tad bit tighter. Still had fun and thought this was a nice work!
Smart interpretation of the theme and well written dialogue. I wish the mini games were a little more engaging.
Of the management style games I have played so far this jam, this one is my favorite. Very satisfying almost idle game mechanic. Would have love to see some more complex rooms that synergized with rooms next to it. Like a room that made the search speed of harpoons connected to it faster. Awesome concept and would love to see it taken further.
I very trippy experience. Art, Mood, and Sound really ties the whole thing together from a audio/visual standpoint. I wish the interaction element was a little more engaging.
Art is awesome and stylistic. Core game mechanic is fun and the slow-mo was a great touch. Firing the bow did feel a little delayed and the music loop was really short and got old fast. Other than those two small criticisms I thought it was great!
I thought the art from this game was very interesting and had a unique feel. The premise for the game was cool and I like the charm that all the artifacts had. There was some mouse acceleration or smoothing or something that made the controls very hard for me. Unfortunately this somewhat dampened the fun for me. I also would have liked to see a bit more complex combat. Other than those to things I thought it was done well.
@remus-rain I went ahead and downloaded the windows version and the controls were MUCH better. I really got an appreciation for the level design now that I could get a bit deeper into the game. The level with the trapdoors (I think the artifact was perfume) was a awesome surprise and super fun. I have adjusted my rating now that I have played the windows version.
I loved the music and aesthetic! The game mechanic was interesting albeit kind of deterministic. I would have liked to see a bit more communication as to what each of the objects do. This was a great project that only g=came up a little short in those few places. Nice work!
This game was extremely well polished, voice acting was especially excellent! The game mechanic was a little shallow and I wish it was a bit more complex. The mechanic boils down to scan for the bad tile, and don't go there. Maybe adding a moving bomb element or a deeper puzzle element would help fix this. Overall I thought the game was well done, just missing a hooking gameplay loop.
My favorite entry so far. Its fun to play both roles, art style is simple yet charming, and it is such a unique idea. Had it matched the theme better I would have 5 starred. Minor gripe for an otherwise outstanding entry.
Very unique puzzle game! Voice overs were a nice touch. Presentation was like some kind of strange 2000's doomsday website. Cool inspiration for an aesthetic if that's what you were going for.
Sadly I did not make it out of the mine but I had fun playing. The maze of the mine in the dark, the sound design, and music all set a good mood for the game. It would have been nice to have a little big bigger warning as to when a ghost would pop up, sometimes it felt like they just came out of the wall. I played the game on stream and the VOD should be up for a little while, The Mines Gameplay starts around 1:36:00 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1172938443
This game is an interesting idea and could be really cool with some polish. Unfortunately for me the physics glitched and the liquid got stuck in the pipes on a few occasions. This made it so I didn't have enough of a certain ingredient in some cases. Like I would need ALL the red and about 5% was stuck in the pipe.
I laughed out loud when the house explosion cinematic happened. Really cool game with great presentation! A simple idea but executed extremely well. One thing I would critique is I wish there was a mistype noise. That way barbarians like me who look down when they type know they missed something lol.
Really cool concept with a lot of potential. Unfortunately this game was really hard for me so I don't feel like I got to experience the full amount of fun the game had to offer. I think it would have been a little easier if you could have moved the character around with WASD. Audio design was great with a very satisfying grapple sound effect. Nice work!
The best game I have played this LD so far. Incredible job. Only critique, I wish there was a quicker way to move the motion cards around. I would mess up a puzzle half way through then have to rearrange the cards to get back through the first part, then rearrange again to do the next part. If I am going to rearrange that often (all be it due to my poor play) I wish there was a quicker smoother way to do so. That minor critique aside, I will be surprised if this isn't top 10 overall. Great Job!
Very unique game concept. I wish I could have clicked to target the spells instead of F1, F2, F3. Felt really awkward trying to type hold space and press F123. With that said I had fun and was charmed by the premise of the game.
Simple yet addictive game. The idea was well executed an I didn't experience any bugs. Font was a little hard to read.
Awesome take on the theme, with great presentation. Very funny message and a bit deeper theme interpretation then most games I have played so far. From a gameplay standpoint, I would have liked to see a bit more varied gameplay and some more feedback. Sometimes it felt like there was just a random chance that someone might aggravate someone else. I fully recognize that may be intentional to fit the overall theme of the game  Nice work and solid entry!
A lot of raw fun potential with this idea. Would have been nice if the player had a bit more weight so they could nudge things around a bit. Lack of polish (character sprite not being a capsule, White UI current height text was invisible against a white cloud) Kept me from rating higher. Nice work!
Graphically and aesthetically very unique and cool. The shooting and camera was a little awkward from time to time.
I thought the unstable magic shooting felt pretty good. You did a good job of capturing the choas of that. Presentation was nice. Could have used a little more audio variety, but overall a solid entry.
Not bad for your first LD entry. Interesting core gameplay feature of building bridges with random objects. The only thing holding the game back is a good bit of polish. I hope you do LD again. Having more time to polish your game just comes with practice and experience so stick with it
WOW! Blown away by how cool this is. Have played AR games before but I didn't realize you could do this with a Snapcode. Really cool potential here.
As for the game, the tap to shoot was incensing for me only firing on about 25% of my taps. Could be due to the phone losing track of the ground plane because I was not in an ideal AR gaming area.
Excellent work! 5 stars for innovation for sure.
Really impressed with the amount of content you were able to get into the game. Had a lot of fun playing. If I had to critique something, I would say the UI could have been presented a little cleaner.
I am impressed you were able to make a well done FPS for a compo submission. Shooting mechanics and cooling towers was an interesting thing to juggle. Loved the tight corridors where sometimes it felt like you were trapped. The hand models don't really fit with the rest of the art style but its a minor thing. I had a good time playing!
I think the mechanic of building the village as you go along, also being the thing that inevitable ends your game is a cool idea. Had fun playing however I did notice the game was a sometimes unresponsive to my key presses. It wasn't always, but just enough where I would crash into something because the caravan didn't turn when the key was pressed. Could just be my old keyboard
Audio and visuals are very nice! Took me a good second to figure out how the game works. The multi bot controls are really interesting and work nicely. Difficulty was a little bit too hard to start I think. Maybe it would have flowed better if level one was smaller and doable with 2-3 bots and then you went into what is now level 1.
Impressed at how much you were able to get done and how polished the game was. Nice work.
Really fun and frantic gameplay! Very unique idea that was executed decently. The color chart reference was a nice touch and useful. Felt like the game balance could have been adjusted because it goes from being able to sort colors to total chaos in a snap. But maybe that's part of the charm :)
Had a ton of fun playing this game. The mechanic fits the theme extremely well and everything was executed nicely. The only flaw is the balance of the end game. I was able to build a perpetual island by stacking enough resources to the point where I could pass on everything except for hill and frozen water cards. This meant I was basically able to keep the water frozen at all times and keep growing my island. To fix this, maybe you could cap the resources at a certain point. That way you need a diverse economy. If you bank up enough in the late game, you could just keep 1 or a few tiles and hill them forever.
I played this game longer than any other submission, and it is my favorite of the jam so far. Really well done.
Here is a nice picture of my "perpetual" island:

And here is a super tall mountain, that is still going without any input from me as I write out this comment

Really thoughtful interactive art piece that made me think a lot about what is worth being immortal. Simple in it's execution but deep in its content.
Art and music are fantastic. Very good vibe to the whole game. As for the game design, It might have been a good idea to cap the overall count down to like 1000 or something. I was able to get my counter up in to the 5000's or so and from that point it didn't really matter what I did. I could just run back and fourth and get everything. A cap I believe would force the player to consistently make good choices. Still with that I had a good time and enjoyed the experience. Impressed you were able to pull all the code and everything together in one day. Nice Work!
This is the first dramatic submission I have played so far and I think its pretty good! Impressed with the amount of story, art, and audio you were able to get in. The quick time mechanic was done well enough and I think the slight slowdown while waiting for the input was a nice touch. I wish I could have seen the smoke monster or at least some cool art effect related to it, but its understandable given the time constraints. Nice Work!
Congrats on your first Jam! This game has fun and frantic gameplay. I would have like to see the top of the screen expanded a little more, so that you could see what cars are coming and would have a little more lead time to react. Still had a lot of fun as is!
