LMAO this audio is crazy!
A little bit hard to control. And the SFX just made me more confused
The physics system sometimes stuck my trash between conveyor belts, but that's fine.
Nice work!
Those sound effects. :D I have no idea what's going on but I like the chaos and physics!
great game!, I'm not used to the ASDF control so it was a bit hard to operate (tho to each their own), but I did have fun. would listen to the sound effects again lol
Fun little concept. Audio top notch haha
Amazing mouth sounds audio!
I did manage to break it. Would probably need some sort of stall check to make sure things are actually moving and if things get stuck have a sort of "earth quake" to shake things loose.

Really enjoyed this one.
fun + confusing
@phlip45 Wow! That is a lot of trash. I had noticed pileups like this in the development, and I thought of a few ways to fix it. However, I actually left the issue unresolved, partly for time, but also because I think those kind of piles up can make the game a little more exciting. Did you attempt to clear the top pileup by opening the "F" bin (the rightmost bin)?
I both trashed and panicked. A surprising amount of game mechanics packed (no pun intended) into a single screen. You really have to make on the fly decisions around how you sort things and you end up strategizing more than you would think. The mouth sounds are excellent and made me smile, great job!
Really innovative idea! Loved the use of the color wheel, as well as the DIY sound effects. I thought that the ASDF controls were a bit hard to get used to, and using mouse click might feel more comfortable but that's just my opinion!
Brilliant - loved the audio!
@waffleworksgames I didn't once think about simply adding in support for mouse click. I feel like a dummy. Anyway, that should have been an easy addition to help increase accessibility. Thanks for the suggestion!
@defrag I eventually moved some levers and got the trash moving again so I could lose properly. So it wasn't broken in the sense that it stopped moving, but in the sense that a player could get an arbitrarily large score.
More challenging than it seems! Really liked this one, thought was very creative. The sounds are really great too. I also managed to break the game by having some itens stuck but that's allright, I had a blast
Was a bit confusing first time around but having the instructions visible at the start really helps. I liked the art and game was fun overall.
The game seemed to freeze up when I lost
Really fun and frantic gameplay! Very unique idea that was executed decently. The color chart reference was a nice touch and useful. Felt like the game balance could have been adjusted because it goes from being able to sort colors to total chaos in a snap. But maybe that's part of the charm :)
Amazing game! Congratulations!
Love the sound effects. I did run into a bug where my trash would disappear as it came off the top conveyor belt and then would just disappear, incrementing my Trash Processed score. At that point I also couldn't move any of the conveyors anymore.
@captaincarrot I think I'm at the mercy of the Unity Physics system for bugs that sound similar to this one. I've run into things where trash chunks start clipping through various rigid bodies too because they get put in weird spots. Hopefuly that bug didn't ruin a really great run for you. The conveyor belts get locked down while their bin is being incinerated, so that may have been the case behind them not working for you. Thanks for playing!
Fun game! I love the sound effects, I wonder where their from????? I had a lot of fun taking out the trash whilst I was supposed to actually be taking out the trash. 9/10 great game!
No idea what I'm doing...but the sound design makes up for it...kadong
Really funny to play, the emergency is there. I think sounds break the atmosphere, and keys are a bit confusing. Also I think help should pause the game. But anyway I had fun !
Interesting concept, cool executed and I enjoyed the graphics. Would be cool if we get the game over more centerd, I first thought it froze for me. Nevertheless very nice game!
I'm a fan of the "tutorial text" in the beginning - but there was just so much to read and so little time! I'm also glad you gave us toggles for the sound and the tutorial text - I found that quite useful. This is a neat idea and a nice packaged up experience. Well done.
Really good idea for the gameplay imo, it was a fun struggle trying to open the right bins at the right time. Sound effects were really funny too.
Panic. Rush. Chaos. Destroying valuable trash. I just got into the flow. First not even knowing what I was doing. Fun. Cool idea! Little problem I had, at one point S did not open at all. Graphics very 80s style, and sound very personal style: nice. I will remember this game, while other jam games I forget.
Don't mind me, I just like to break things:

Pros:
- Simple and enjoyful gameplay - Cool graphics - Sounds... umm... yeah :D - Multiple points of context to understand - Chaotic controls, in a good way
Cons:
- S button was broken for me - Easy to get your stuff stuck for insta points - Not sure I understood the color mechanic
Good job! :D
@mikoziq Ha, that is great! I clearly had some more work to do with the physics engine and colliders. If I had more time, I would probably fine-tune the polygon colliders for the various pieces of trash so they had no concave portions. I believe that is one factor that causes the pileups. For the 's' button - was the bin incinerating trash? If so, the lid won't open until it is done burning. For the colors, the more blended or heterogenous the mix, the longer it takes to burn. One of every color results in a lower 'purity' than an all blue and cyan mix.
I find it super hard to control with keyboard buttons, I get all confused. I guess if you could open by clicking it could be easier but I'm not sure at all. Regardless I really love the concept, it's really fun, humorous and polished! Props to you fellow voice sound effects artist :P
First off, the audio is AMAZING. It gets so hectic late-game and I was just laughing at the KA-DONKs and messing up a lot. So fun. I also found that clicking was easier for me than keyboard controls. The feeling of inevitability is absolutely there, so great job with the theme. I thought the physics worked really nicely too. I processed 131 pieces of trash.
Neat! I love a physics-based puzzler! I really like how you fit everything on the screen, both for the fun of seeing things tumble down in and interesting way, and for showing information in a compact way. Good work!
@ruthiepee, I'm glad that you enjoyed the audio. Honestly, I didn't intend to go the, ah, "hand-crafted" route. However, I found myself with just a few minutes left to implement all the audio, so that was the best I could pull off. The KA-DONKS have been a running gag in my family since LD ended. Glad that you enjoyed the game!
@sketchygalore I waffled on the direction I wanted to go for a while, but I'm glad that landed on what I did. Physics-based systems are an easier choice for jams because the movement can be fun in and of itself, which is what I was trying to channel. Thanks for playing.
