Nice submission Zackavelli! Balancing pollution was an interesting riff on the TD genre. I was torn between increasing defensive firepower and filtering pollution. It was a little hard to know what the optimal move would be without hovering over everything to check the cost efficiency of each option. I like the car models that you worked up, and the sound effects show some time investment as well. -Defrag

Really enjoyed this! a money multiplier or some kind of visual things changing with pollution and such would've been cool but nonetheless I was really invested!

Im addicted to TD games, so Im very biased on that front. Really impressed by the depth of the game tbh and the graphics look also good. Amazing what you made in just 48 hours!

Fun and interesting idea, but I'd say it needs balancing. Tower defense games usually start slow, so I was surprised that just buying ~8 simple turrets (for all the available starting money) wasn't enough to stop even the first wave. With support towers I managed to get to wave 7 and lost due to high pollution. The pollution was being generated far more quickly than I was earning money to clear that, which felt a bit unfair, but that balance is what the game offers to master, I guess :) I'd suggest improving the UI a bit: the "start wave" button is still available after you've started the wave which confused me a little (maybe it should only be visible in between waves?), and an indication that you are mouseovering a tile would be nice as well.

I did not understand the game. Yes, I know and played tower defense games. But here I was lost. Maybe because already the first wave was unstoppable for me. I struggled a lot with the controls, felt clunky and and not intuitive, even after re-reading the instructions. Overall felt like a lot of complexity (e.g. the stats) but without realy anything behind. Maybe it is the balancing that is missing. Sorry, I personally am disapointed.

I am impressed about the complexity done in the short time frame! I did not really get the details of the game (I know it is a tower defence), but I did not get the thing with the pollution. But that is me, I personally prefer simple games :-)

Awesome submission! A lot of depth in the gameplay! I loved the smoke coming out from the towers. Impressive how much you got in with such a short amount of time. Think a speed up & reset button would have been good as well (though that might have added more complexity in the UI).

Wow, you did a lot within a very short time! There is really a lot of stuff implemented in it. And a really nice add-on with the pollution/ second layer of things to consider. Graphics of the towers is great, while the graphics of the level is solid/ practical. SFX are very classic, remind me of my early tower defence games. Zoom and scrolling is good, but I would have liked to have a bit more top down view, less flat. I did not get very far, as I was not able to stop the early waves. Overall, really nice, enjoyed playing it.

Great game! I think the overall look of it is really clean and plays very nicely. I think I did encounter a bug with the game. I was just about finished playing, and I (for whatever reason haha) just decided to sell all the towers I had placed. So what happened was, I could sell an instance of a tower but if I sell (specifically) a Range/Fuel/Filter tower right after that one, it wouldn't disappear, but I would still get the money. The towers then can never disappear, but I can right click on them to basically generate infinite money because they're still technically 'selling'.

Hats off for a 3D game! Nice composition for a COMPO entry! Wasn't able to "Buy Pollution" at some point, but overall felt very consistent. The twist fits the theme very well. Nice work!

Really nice game! I loved the twist on the classic TD formula, and it had a lot of content for a compo game. It was quite fun balancing between surviving and reducing pollution. I could only reach wave 8, though :( The UI could use a little work - it would be nice to see a tower's range/stats before placing them, for example - and there was a bug where the range display wouldn't update, but otherwise, great entry!

Its incredibly how long you get in very short time, congrats. The game has a amazing complexity for a jam game, Nice work.
