The chanting idea is great, but for me the difficulty seems a bit high, it would be great to allow the player a bit more time at the beginning to warm up. Good job though!
Constant need to look to the bottom of the screen is frustrating) I think you need somehow place "runes feed" over spear itself! Or maybe signal what rune is next not by visual, but by audio!
Cool concept. The UI didn't play nice with my monitor so the meters for Spirit and Fury at the bottom ended up off screen.
Great work.
really nice game, the gameplay is simple but fun & the art/concept/music work together super well!
Nice minigame with great art and music. It's quite a difficult game, had to keep focusing on the bottom of the screen instead of the spear
Now that is a very cool game! You must have game jam experience it seems like it was the right mix of mechanics and polish. Nice graphics and sound and gameplay and all possible within the allotted time. This game is a great success in my opinion!
Keep up the good work.
Really cool! I liked "playing" the sounds and the fact that it was getting faster and faster. Took me more than a few trieÅ› to master :D Great work!
Awesome game! Felt pretty unique. The whole concept blending together so well. It took me a little bit to figure out the controls (even though you do say at the start). A tutorial showing you what to press at the start and that you move the mouse would have been a nice touch (though hard to do in 48 hours) Sound, Grphics, gameplay were on point. Completed it! The o'l side eye helped me xD
Fun idea and good fitting graphyics) I would love to see it eveolves in some kind of rythmic game with corresponding soundtrack. Just so you know, but game is a bit hard to run on 3400x1400 monitor as upper part of content (tutorial) get cut off.
Wow, this was awesome! I love these stress game jam games, you managed to combie the fun sound and idea with pretty intensive gameplay. Love it!
I really enjoyed this. The music and chants went really well together. The story, tutorial, intro animation was all entertaining. It was very challenging for me. For now, I only pierced two hearts. I think it's the right amount of things to worry about (obstacles, power ups, chants). You nailed it.
It took me a few tries and a reread to figure out the controls. I didn't know I could move the mouse on the first two.
FYI for those with ultrawide monitors. Create a shortcut and add these parameters after the executable: "-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080". It should work with any Unity game.
Interesting idea. Definitely very different. I initially thought you had to chant on the beat, not as fast as possible. I really sucked at it though. Only managed about half way to the first heart.
Very good, has everything. Music sets some mood. I like the 2 different mechanics that you need to split your attention.
Very cool concept. Good job
Great game. One of the more interesting interpretations of the theme I have played. The chanting with the key presses fitted so well.
Nice, interesting game. The music was good and so were the sound effects and graphics. It also had just the right difficulty level IMO. My technique was to pretty much always look at the chants at the bottom, and use my peripheral vision to avoid rocks and get the diamond things.
To improve, maybe some indication that the order of the chants are the same each time you play. Also, a victory sound effect would be cool!
